I just cried watching Epiphany again. It's a very personal song to me, because just like the lyrics I had loved someone else hiding all my pain. After finding BTS I realised that it's me who deserves to be loved. So I broke up with my boyfriend, and now I'm so happy, because I finally love myself. Also Jin is my favourite vocalist 💜...his voice can portray any type of emotion, especially sad and emotional 😭

Epiphany is what made me ARMY💜. When I heard the song & read the lyrics, it spoke to me as a wife, mother, daughter & employee who spends most days seeing to the needs of others, I put my needs at the bottom of the list because I felt guilty or selfish if I did something for my self. Hearing Jin say the words, “I’m the one I should love” helped me give permission to start doing things to take care of myself. At the end of the day, this helps me be better in all the roles that I perform each day. 💜

Very awesome! This is an album “intro” song, and the members take turns in order doing intros. Like Tae doing Singularity! The video is showing the bts alternative universe. Jin is key as he time travels, and shows him trying to save the others. When he loves himself though, he finds that even rain falling won’t phase him, he loves himself. This is legendary to catch in concert, and causes every Army to cry 😭!

The journal actually belongs to the girl he loved that died in front of him(got hit by a car). The first time she saw the girl in the train station, that's where the girl dropped her journal and on that journal you can see everything that the girl wanted/looking for in a man. Jin is trying to be the man that she wants by wearing a mask and pretending to be someone the girl just like what is written on her journal. To sum it all In the end, he realized that he should stop doing it and start living as him without wearing the mask or trying to be someone he's not just so the girl/people around him could love and accept who he was. So he starts by loving himself. 😌 Everything is connected and explained properly on the Bangtan Universe(BU) that XCELESTE uploaded on her YT page.

Your thoughts on this song are so on point!! That's amazing... Jin's voice is like an angel and not to mention his range.. Just amazing singer... Here the routine in BTS Universe represents how Jin tries to save all of his friends from their fate. He keeps trying multiple time but fails to save at least one of them each time. The rain going back up is a metaphor for the timeline resetting. Everytime you see Jin opening the curtains it mans its a start of new timeline and vice versa. Then he decides to use the Butterfly effect that states a small ripple can make large differences. So he starts noting down all the mistakes in each timeline. He realizes that its important to love an accept yourself before trying to seek it outside. He takes help from his friends to save each other's life.( You will know more once you read HYYH Notes 1 and 2). I love how BTS songs have 2 meanings one that goes in line with the story but even if you don't know that there is an another deep meaning inside that you described. They are just wonderful musicians.
