Here's my theory: So I believe that Jin is basically time traveling to protect the members from the troubles of adulthood because he, as the oldest member of BTS, found out that the more they go into adulthood, the more mentally and physically harmful things they'll have to overcome. This is his "secret" that the other members cannot know about. I personally believe that 0:32 is the part where he finds out about the "secret" because as you can see, a painting of angels that looked so humble, innocent, and peaceful actually turned out to be a red room with a devil waving (0:36). The reason why Jungkook decides to drink the poison is that namjoon may have represented the devil as a human form who was trying to tempt him to end it all before he went into adulthood. Now, this would also explain why this mv was published in 2017 bcuz that was the year jungkook graduated and started his journey with adulthood. I'm guessing that Suga and Taehyung already knew about Jin's secret when he travels back into time to meet them. Jin quickly notices that Taehyung knows the secret and tries to knock him unconscious for a certain period of time to prevent him from trying to do anything to himself or others with the secret. If you listen to what Jin says in 2:06 he says "mianhae" which means "sorry" in korean (I'm s korean so I'd know). This is because he had to knock him unconscious for tae's own good but also felt bad for him at the same time (since Jin was hitting him). Right after he says that, Taehyung fully understands why Jin decided to time travel and what his secret is, which is why he gets up with a knife and goes to a beautiful looking cosy room filled with pink fabric everywhere that leads him to a very dangerous edge of the building. This is because the pink room is supposed to represent temptations from the devil to kill himself using his knife or to jump off the building before he had to overcome the troubles of adulthood. This would explain why the pink room looked so tempting to go into. The reason why I think that yoongi/suga might know about the secret is because at 0:40&0:45, jimin decides to run away from Suga with what I think are angel wings. This is because yoongi thought that if jimin decides to hang out with him, jimin would also discover the secret and live in misery waiting for the troubles he'd have to overcome in his later on future OR it might be bcuz he decides to ask yoongi what was going on and yoongi told him that yoongi can't tell him for his own good. Jimin might have gotten angry about this, and decides to run away with his angel wings which r supposed to represent his humbleness and innocence as he is now protected from the troubles of adulthood (for now). If you look at 3:12, you can see that jimin (his innocent/younger self) had somehow gotten to his older self who is currently overcoming the troubles of adulthood whom suga tries to prevent from looking at innocent jimin. But then right after that, innocent Jimin shatters after merely looking at older jimin who is in adulthood because his innocence was so fragile that it could break from just by looking at his adulthood self. And then innocent shattered jimin then goes through the same poison that jungkook was given by namjoon who is supposed to represent the devil. This is because his present adulthood self had gone through and had already experienced the troubles of adulthood which is represented by the poison. This would also represent why at 3:18, the devil side of the angel painting shatters. This is because the devil had already accomplished his one and only goal which was to steal the members' childhood innocence (suga knows the secret, RM represents the devil, Jin also knows the secret and has already gone through some of the troubles which is why he decides to go and save the other members bcuz he does not want them to go through what he did, Taehyung decides to kill himself after the devil tempts him by using the pink room, Jungkook drinks the poison that was supposed to represent the troubles of adulthood he was about to go through, idk about jhope, , jimin meets his present adulthood self which destroys his childhood innocence etc...). 3:21, Jin walks back in disbelief from the crack which is to represent the members' destroyed childhood innocence. 3:22 RM realises what he had done because of the devil tempting him to steal Jungkook's childhood innocence by giving him a poisoned drink to represent his adulthood troubles. 3:27, the blackhole type of thing in front of jin is to show how the members got so easily tempted by the devil since blackholes r irresistibly easy to get sucked into whether u want to or not. 3:31 Jimin (I think it's Jimin but it might be jhope or some other member) stares at his wings that he used to have before he went into adulthood which took his childhood innocence 0:44, the only source of his angel wings. 3:38, As I said before their innocence was extremely fragile. Meaning, anyone or anything could break it. In this case, the glass that shatters in 3:38 is to represent their innocence since glass is also very fragile and could break just by slipping from someone's hand and hitting the ground. Jin realises that he failed to protect his members' innocence as the glass breaks in front of his eyes. But then in 3:48 the glass that shattered turns into beautiful pink flower petals which is to show that going into adulthood may have some troubles, but it will also bring u good memories and good times and that even though the members lost their childhood innocence, they still turned out to become good people. In 4:06, Jin says "orenmanida" which means "it's been a long time since I've seen you" which is probs bcuz he was busy time traveling and trying to save the members. OKAY THANK U FOR LISTENING

The visual line is actually underrated... for their talent... they have freaking good and beautiful vocals (Many critics have always stated Tae"s the strongest vocalist in BTS and Jin has improved so much from zero to here) and are such good actors.. put them in a movie or drama ASAP!
