Kim Namjoon was first member to join BTS.His mom opposed hom joining BTS because she wanted him to study well.He used to work so hard with the productions yet his mom would break his computers and mics so that he would concentrate on his studies. Kim seokjin, who joined bighit because of his visuals, got criticized that he had no talent in singing but he proved all of them wrong. He wanted to make his mom proud and wanted his mom to have something to brag about her son to their judgemental neighbours. Min yoongi, whose parents didn't support him well in his music career, had to manage his life on his own.If he had to take the bus,he didn't have money to eat.If he spent it on food,he couldn't take the bus.But now,he's earning millions. Jung hoseok had earlier auditioned in JYP but was not accepted in the later half.Being a street dancer and having so much talent,he almost gave up and wanted to leave BTS but his members opposed him in that and he definitely didn't let them down.Yet,he was judged because of his visuals. He auditioned because he wanted his father to be proud of him. Park Jimin, who had to starve himself only because people called him"fat".He came all the way from Busan to pursuade his dreams and used to practice so much that once he slept for only 3 hours. That is what has made him perfect today. Kim Taehyung lived with his grandmother for 15 yrs to support her in her farm.He had always been a part of BTS but was never shown in any promotion _not until they debut. Taehyung said he used to practice filming log so that when he's finally announced as a member he can do a lot of for his fans. Jeon Jungkook came to Seoul from Busan at a very young age to persuade his dreams. He even travelled all the way to America to learn dancing.Once Jimin caught him crying alone and when Jimin asked why,Jk said that he misses his family. BTS,they are global legends today but they had their own hardships too. So please stop calling them overrated and learn to respect them. They deserve what they're doing today.

I had many tears over this video. What comes to mind is mental health issues that are not dealt with, and it becomes toxic. I feel sad for BTS and everything they went through. What hurts me the most is what was said about V after the death of his grandmother that he loved so dearly. How can people be so cruel? The joy that BTS brings to the world shows how strong they are to get past their hurts, and help others. It is admirable. Not too many that can be as humble, loving and caring as these performers.

I’m a brand new bts fan (literally less than a week ago) and all I can say is that from the first time I watched one of their performances it was undeniable how talented and dedicated they are to what they do and I couldn’t believe that I shrugged them off for so long because I too, thought that they were just another K-pop band. But going down the bts youtube rabbit hole (as one does when they realize how amazing they are) I just knew that these guys are so special and passionate. They’ve given me nothing but joy when watching either a performance/music video, interview or any of the cute fan complications of their group antics. They really give their 100% and more to everything they do, each one brings his own unique talent and skills to the table and no one - not even a hater - can ignore that. More than anything, I’m moved by how much they love and respect each other, how they protect and uplift each other and making everyone around them as happy as possible. What a special bond that very few people will get to experience in this life and they deserve all the success and recognition they’ve received. I learned all this in less than a week. Unfortunately, it’s usually the people who judge without bothering to understand them or even listen to their music who think they have the right to tear them down. Whatever though, bts will continue to make history.

These incredible artists and amazing human beings deserve all the love and support. They changed my life. Their art, their message, their sincerity, their presence make me happy. With them and thanks to them, I learned a lot about myself and the world around me. Good times or bad, I'll always be by their side. Borahae BTS! Borahae ARMY! Thank You, Rosan! I recently became a member of the BTS Army. I had been a huge music fan my whole life. Always listening and singing along. A few years ago I started developing health ussues all of which caused excruciating constant pain. One by one all of the things I loved doing had to be stopped because I physically could no longer do them. My job as a Respiratory Therapist, gardening, working on improving my house, needlework, walks, sleeping in my bed, ( I have to sleep upright in a recliner), cooking big meals for family, etc. It felt like I was disappearing. That I was losing myself. Over time I started losing my interest in music as well. I had not listened to music for a couple of years now. The other day, I heard a beautiful song. I wanted to know what it was and who sang it. I found out it was "Life Goes On" by BTS. I loved up the English translation and I fell in love with it more. Then I started looking into BTS. What I found out about them made me a steadfast fan. I feel a love for music again, and I credit them for that. I feel like they saved me. They are such beautiful people inside and out. They have overcome so many hurdles and kept going and didn't let anyone stop them from their goals. I admire that so much. They truly deserve the praise and awards that they have received, and much much more. I wish that their was some way I could repay them for helping to bring me back to life. I am 61 yrs old and proudly pronounce myself a fan. I love BTS for their talent, perseverance, love of their fans, and big hearts. They are the very definition of Idol. May they forever be safe, happy and prosperous.

When these 7 guys are working so hard to gain their success, there are too many haters, skeptics and mockers who are so jealous and trying to quash that success. I am so glad those malicious people are failing, and BTS is succeeding to become the worldwide success that they really are. I applaud BTS and their army and Big Hit co. for persevering through all those tough times!

Funny how antis call them "undeserving" and "overrated" when they hardly know shit about them or their music or their hardships. Then please explain how they got famous in the first place? How did they succeed as a major global phenomenon when they came from such a small company? it couldve been anyone from the Big3 too. Why Bts? Think about what you write on the internet, kids. There is a reason for everything. Their immense talent and armys dedication brought them here. They deserve all this and more.

I'm grateful for their willingness to be so open and vulnerable about their struggles. And I am in awe watching what these trials are crafting these fine, humble, smart men into. Kim Namjoon said the relationship between BTS and Army is like a battery and we recharge each other. He is not wrong. And I may be new Army, but I am #armyforever (And that sounds so weird to write because I am a 48 year old woman.) This was eye-opening, I am new to BTS music. I have found so many of their songs to be, not only visually stunning in the presentation in videos and in live concerts, but also thought provoking. The guy near the end that said, "I don't understand what they're saying" is just lazy. I don't understand Korean but, there are ways to get the lyrics in English to the songs. The vitriol, IMO, is based on jealousy. The comments also near the end, that noted that the "system" that controls a country's music industry ignores BTS' success and accomplishments because they did not go through that system is quite illuminating. Since they can't make money off of BTS and they can't control how and when BTS music is aired or streamed, that is their way to try to downplay what BTS has accomplished. The group and Big Hit have had the last laugh though. They are successful after over a decade of hard work and sacrifice. The haters should either go make something of themselves or slink back into their little holes of envy and jealousy and let the rest of us enjoy the music.

I'm a new Army and to be completely honest, I was never a fan of Kpop. My brothers would often refer to them as gay 'cos they wore makeup and eyeliner, and everything was just cute. One day I was watching youtube and stumbled upon Dynamite. After that, I watched a few dance practice videos. Next thing I knew, I have been watching them everyday for 2mos. now. I am now catching up via V live to get to know them better. Everything is so toxic these days, from the news, and other people. But these boys, yes I still call them boys 'cos they still act like teenagers, are nothing but sincere and dedicated. They radiate happiness and positivity even when they are just playing games and being raw on camera. They are also amazing performers. I just wish people are more open minded. Sad to say, just like my brothers, there are so many people who are very shallow and judgemental. I am glad I became an army even at 32. Borahae!!! P.S. Jin is my bias!!! But i love them all. 💜💜💜
