if you want GOOD and not shippy/cringy compilations for the bts pairings, there's a channel called thictae with a series called " __ moments i think about a lot" with a video for almost all of bts' possible pairings - their Jinmin and MinJoon (monimoni) ones are SO cute!! plus you're gonna LOVE their Namkook and JinKook one - it captures their big bro/lil bro dynamics really well (the vmin and the sope one also!!) They also add not only video interactions but things theyve said about eachother in interviews and such ♡ (Just make sure it is thictaes channel bc after the success of the series other people started to make their own pairing compilations with the same title format but they are not as good :/ )

Girl, until chapter 2, BTS had a whole set of stickers employed to make sure we don't get a glimpse of any skin. Living in pre-2022 era was screaming over a clavicle or a blurry reflection of Jungkook's tattoos in kitchen utensils. We were Victorian men drooling over a slipped ankle. If you showed a 2019 army a clip of Are You Sure, they would have an aneurysm. BTS being fully clothed in pools or bathtubs was 100% normal.

I agree some of the compilation videos you can spot the weirdness with the editing a mile off. Ill never understand the obsession with other peoples friendships/lives. Like if that was your family youd be horrified that other people are treating them that way. One of the many reasons i have just avoided the fan communities. Early youtube comments is as far as i go nowadays. Their sofi concerts when there were early fancams going up on twitter i decided to look at the comments for the first time in years and it was just either a bunch of spiteful people being hateful or people being incredibly intrusive and over the top. And then the genuine comments just got pushed to the bottom as they dont get as much interaction i guess. So the time context of this is video very different from today haha. Before chapter 2 and the solo eras, we rarely saw much skin from any of the guys. We got a few ab flashes during performances, maybe some bicep views in tshirts, or knees in shorts, but they always stayed pretty fully clothed, even in hot tubs and pools, wearing shirts and such. We didn't see Jungkook's tattoos past his wrist until well into 2021 festa. Our screams at the time were reserved for exposed foreheads, necks, arms, and shins, with the occasional ab flash from Fake Love or a shirt riding up during dance practice. We always joked that we were like Victorian era, fainting over an exposed ankle 🤣 Chapter 2 has been VERY different, starting a bit early with Jungkook's cropped tops during the PTD concerts. We've now seen 5/7 shirtless members, multiple times and it feels wild. A far cry from where we were just in 2021 lol.

Except for Jimin ripping his shirt off at that early award show, the showing the abs by Jimin and Jungkook in specific songs are in the choreo. There was one dance where all of BTS showed their abs. Then Big Hit would always put a sticker to cover their low-cut shirt, their exposed belly. Hobi was pulling Jimin to breakfast on in the SOOP and they put a whole shirt over his shirtless self. I think the members had no problem going shirtless in the water, it was BigHit who had them wear clothes. Chapter two came and now they go shirtless and swear, lol.

Some jokes can be a bit…yeah. -_- like we can take a joke but….i def cringe at the awkward inserts. If it were literally the members making these comments/jokes and in context, it’s funny, otherwise…weird shipper undertones to the “inside joke”? It’s why I don’t like most bts dub videos.
