Thanks for complimenting Taehyung. He is indeed the most charming in personality, and he has a genius and creative mind, being sweet to everybody. He praises Jhope and the other members despite he is rarely praised by them. But still he is an unselfish person who keeps supporting others and loving Army. He created the phrase I purple you and always asks Army to love all 7 members. He has a heart of gold, versatile, talented and gorgeous. Tae, in Festa 2020, mentioned how hard he worked over the years to get praise from Hobi. In Festa 2021, when asked to give an answer associated with the word "Respect", he answered J-hope. When he said he has been a fan for 10 years, it wasn't a stretch. He genuinely is amazed of Hoseok's ability. (I mean, who wouldn't? 😂)

RM once said that J-Hope "is a closed book" when it comes to private information. That's okay. At least, it should be. In terms of this interview, I don't think he needed to go deeper. I thought he answered V's questions with lots of detail, despite his fidgeting. He's actually not as comfortable as some of the others with being in such a personal spotlight. I think J-Hope is a totally unique individual -- a true original artist -- and there's way more beneath the surface that he chooses not to share in such a public way. I respect that.

Tae is always the one stepping in when one of the members are putting themselves down. Especially with jin and hobi who often talk about the things they're not good at or confident in and their insecurities, they're often comparing themselves to others. I think Tae really admires them and wants them to feel good, so he can't stand seeing them in that mindset. It's so sweet and I'm so happy they have someone like him in the team.

V is the designated "social butterfly" of the group. Even by their industry standard, V's social skills are recognized as one of the best. There were media articles written about how "if you pass by V, you'll be close friends" or somethinglike that 😂. His connections are legendary. Not only by being part of the Wooga Squad (consists of top tier actors and a rapper), but also being close to other respected actors and singers in the k industry. Army often are often blindsided by official BTS content that only show 1/5 of his charm, I believe. I have seen him in almost all of Big Hit/Hybe content and often wondered how his friends perceive him. He is also very close to his non-celeb, ex-school mate friends, some of whom we've seen him going to concerts/attend art exhibitions or just hang out doing karaoke with. Apparently he is very very charming, modest and lovely with them all. Must be difficult to keep up with all those social circles though. How does he do it? 😅

1:33 Sometimes, translation leave things out. He was actually telling hoseok that he WAS going to put on an interviewer persona. The exact words were: "I won't call you 'hyung', but 'J-Hope-ssi'." That's a formal way to refer to someone you don't know well. Usually the younger members just call him "Hobi hyung" or "Hoseokie hyung"

I love how complex and genuine he is as well, he’s hard to understand for new people sometimes because he can look like he’s zoned out but he’s listening and other times he’s fully engaged. (He can also look engaged and be zoned out lol). V always shares his authentic self and has an awsome stone cold expression when he’s not smiling even if he’s happy in that moment. Such an innocent deep soul with a mischievous sharp tongue- I love it! One thing I noticed about V is that he’s really caring and is subtle about it but that he’s also one to challenge people to bring them out of their comfort zone. I see he does this a lot with JK, Yoongi and JHope . I love all their dynamics and one to one bonds as well as when they’re all together.

Taehyung is definitely charming and that side of him has helped the entire groups image even. Almost all the members except for him are basically introverts, so Taehyungs ability to be friendly and outgoing makes them seem cool. I love how he's insightful and observant too,there's no pretentiousness at all and I think that very blunt side of him have gotten him hate because fans prefer their Idols play to their whims,meanwhile Taehyung is very direct and honest. I think he's a good example of a role model especially to the younger generation Idols, he says things as they are,he doesn't mislead the fans and neither does he feed their delusions when it comes to his personality. Taehyung is a treasure indeed and those who have him in their circle are lucky.

Jhope as an INFJ probably is the hardest to interview because they don't talk about themselves unless they trust the person, V being able to make him talk is a talent. With V as they as Jimin said he is the most down-to-earth and has the most unique and pure thoughts so Jhope knows he can trust his thoughts with him.

@@hafshss this is an interesting point!! Jimin is emotionally vulnerable while simultaneously being quite private. If we simply compare Hobi and V to Jimin on Instagram the difference becomes stark. Both V and Hobi have shared photos from their homes and have highlighted personal objects they adore [artwork/clothing]. Whereas Jimin has never invited Army into his home since leaving the Dorm. Both Hobi and V have shared their friend group with Army. V via Disney Soop show and Hobi recently with his album premier party and JITB concert etc. However, Jimin has shared almost nothing about his friend group with Army. We have a single travel blog with a friend in Hawaii. Even his OST with Sungwoon was not promoted together nor did he share photos of the experience or behind the scenes of the recording. Jimin keeps his private life very separate from.his public persona.

When staff was interviewing each member and they had to talk about each other and what you thought about that person, JK said other than Tae being handsome heh. He said that Tae is sort of like a genius. He checks things through before he says them and it may seem like Tae is being quiet or being in his own world but he is actually listening, watching and figuring out what to do or say. Hobi is the sunshine of BTS. Such a sweet guy. BTS was doing an interview where they had to Tae loved most about him was his kindness and caring nature.

Yes, JHope almost always deflects praise directed towards him to one of the other members or staff. Like many people, he is more comfortable giving kudos than receiving…not because he doesn’t feel he deserves it, more because he isn’t sure how to respond to it. Like the other members, he is actively humble…unless of course they’re joking around, ie., World wide handsome, etc lol! Also, as others have already mentioned, Taehyung is a huge fan of Hobi’s and I have noticed that just prior to and since they announced the beginning of chapter two, Tae and Hobi have been spending more time together during their free time like when they went on vacation together in Hawaii, or when Taehyung called JHope during the filming of Friendcation among other things. For me this signified that they have become even closer and have an even deeper mutual respect for one another than ever before. I believe this to be the case with Jimin and JHope as well. I would imagine if this interview happened today, it would have been more in-depth and comfortable than it already was.

Would love to see more on JHope as he is the most guarded and sets lots of boundaries. If you listens to some of his work he tells you in songs he’s been hurt a lot trusting people and caring for some who don’t care for him. I see why he is this way it is very sad however. JHope is a very extremely talented genius and was even told to tone down his abilities for the sake of the group. He doesn't share private information just because he's been hurt in the past. He is simply a professional and chooses not to share information that's too personal. He's even like that with the other members. As they have said many times, J-Hope shows his affection with action, loyalty, stability and steadfastness. It's the same for armies. So to Army, Tae is the fanboy of the talents of Jhope, Jungkook, RM and Suga, he is the fanboy of Jin's beauty and is the fanboy of Jimin's sweetness? Taehyung is the humblest and the sweetness in the group. He always praises the members despite he isn't often praised with except to his visuals. But for those who love Taehyung wholeheartedly, they know well his talent is unlimited. It's just that he's not given the chance to release his album this year. He is the most versatile in the group -- he could excel at songwriting (maybe many Armys don't love his healing type of music but outside the fandom he does), lyric writing, singing, stage performing (of course Jhope is still the best in dancing but Tae is called the King of Fancams for a reason and he has over 100 Kpop male idols who are his fanboys) and for sure no BTS member could excel him is acting and being a musical actor as musical directors have already given him love calls. Oh same! Over the years, many people wished to sign up Taehyung and invited him for solo works but Hybe turned down the offers. @@Ge11i9 😁Same. I was Taehyung biased at first, and then after a while started noticing the similarities of Tae with the other members. The sunshine line, and the Kim line in particular. I could see many similar personality traits between Jin and Tae as actors and visuals with immense creativity, sense of humor and a big heart. I fell in love with Taejoon interactions and was impressed with how well they knew each other and understood each other. When the members shared the mbti results and Tae and Namjoon were the same, it made total sense. Both have an appreciation of nature, art, knowledge and people. They express themselves differently but both are eloquent in their own way. Very observant of human behavior and very inclusive of others, very open minded. It took me time to appreciate Namjoon but once I did he became my bias also and I couldn't push Jin out so all 3 are my bias. Very uniquely charming, handsome and smart , Kim line are my bias. But Taejoon is my happy place.

I agree. Tae loves to do role-playing, and it serves him well in this interview. In the other pairings, sometimes we see a little bit of awkwardness, because they're not used to being in a "formal" situation like this. They're used to hanging out and having casual conversations, but not interviewing each other. So it took a moment for them to get their bearings. With Tae setting their roles clearly in the beginning, "I'm not your fellow member, I'm your interviewer", I think that helps them to get into the interview-mode quicker.

It's hard to pick a favourite friendship group in BTS because they're all so lovely in their own unique ways. Yet I feel like any sub-group that includes Hobi often gets an extra wholesome, heartwarming and sweet quality to it. V has such an innocence to him as well that it's like that wholesomeness doubles since Hobi brings out everyone's sweet side. Like Suga is often (wrongly) perceived as cold by those who don't know him well yet, but it's suddenly so obvious to those people how warm and loving he is when he hangs with Hobi. V and Hobi may be the pair that truly does make me smile the most. They dote on each other so much. When Hobi showers V with positivity and kindness, V lights up so much at that. When it's the other way around, Hobi gets shy and laughs a lot but he appreciates it deeply.

And Taehyung is very versatile and talented - he is the most versatile in the group -- he could excel at songwriting (maybe many Armys don't love his healing type of music but outside the fandom he does), lyric writing, singing, stage performing (of course Jhope is still the best in dancing but Tae is called the King of Fancams for a reason and he has over 100 Kpop male idols who are his fanboys) and for sure no BTS member could excel him is acting and being a musical actor as musical directors have already given him love calls. Over the years, many people wished to sign up Tae and invited him for solo works but Hybe turned down the offers. It's disrespectful of you to praise your fav while ignoring that Tae is extremely talented. There is a reason for his insane popularity but surely many Army don't like it

Tae has always looked up to Hobi as his hyung and as the dance leader. Praise from Hobi is something Tae actively sought as he worked hard to be part of the Danceline. He admires Hobi very much. There were points when I felt HOBI was not settling into the interview because of Tae's way of pedestalling Hobi. It's almost like Tae reveres him so much that it puts a bit of distance between them and it seemed to make Hobi pull back a bit rather than lean into the interview. The interview is still a 10/10. Tae did an amazing job. Love them both.

Yes agreed. Hobi enjoys having people see him in a positive light, but he isn't particularly comfortable with being singled out with direct praise. He'll be gracious about it as much as possible, thanking you and smiling, but you can see him getting visibly shy, flustered, squirmy or unsettled about it. It's all depending on how much he's able to hide his natural, knee-jerk response. I've seen clips of Tae just showering Hobi in praise and letting him know how much he likes, respects or looks up to him. Hobi alway gets shy or tries to joke and deflect it quickly. Tae truly does have him on a friendly pedestal but Hobi has no idea how to accept that without shyness. It's an adorable dynamic.

the members have always said that hobi is the most professional of the members. from the very beginning BTS had a lot of backlash regarding their dance and performance and j-hope took charge of leading the group to becoming better.. RM said that hobi does 50% of the work of leading the team. So I think that weight of responsibility weighs on hobi a lot. Tae has also said in interviews that j-hope is the one person that sacrifices the most and is the most selfless and kind, almost to a fault. its a nice trait to have but its also something that j-hope has struggled with as well.. He's expressed his want to be able to show more, but having to hold himself back. That's why chapter 2 is so important for the members. They finally get to do what they want without having to think of the team. also, hobi is the closest with the youngest members, jimin, tae, and jungkook... he's know as the maknae line leader because they follow him around everywhere haha.

So BE was my first album comeback with BTS, I'm a Dynamite ARMY from 2020. When it dropped, I listened to the whole album and was pleasantly surprized at how much I loved all the tracks, and I didn't even know the lyrics yet, this was just the audio. But When I first heard Dis-ease for the first time, I instantly fell in love with it and wanted to get up and dance. It became my favorite song from that album. Then later when I read the lyrics and understood the meaning, the song hit me on another level. I love that song to this day. J--Hope did an amazing job on it. He is one of my favorite artists. I fully embraced his mixtape HOPE World, and his new Jack In The Box album. I resonate with most every song, he's just my kind of artist. RM is that way also, but moreso HOBI. Anyway, I just wanted to say that I really love the song Dis-ease, and to know that he wrote MORE during this process of writing the BE album was so interesting to me. More became the first song we all heard from his album JITB. That song blew me away, and I also love that Piece of Peace, and Equal Sign are part 1 and 2. tying in Hope World With Jack In the Box. Fun fact: when Tae said to hobi "u and i are always on opposite ends and always stand far apart" he's referring to their literal standing line position -- whenever BTS stand in a line, it goes like this left to right: Taehyung, Yoongi, Seokjin, Jungkook, Namjoon, Jimin, Hoseok. So Tae meant he literally doesn't have alot of chances to observe hobi's face and expressions, and he remarked that in this interview, he could see hoseok's facial expressions clearly and how happy he lights up talking about music. so sweet. tae can be really disarmingly charming speaking out his observations innocently, he doesn't think about how the other person might blush from the compliment, tae really just says it as it is from his heart. :) And what's even more disarming is that Tae really looks straight at u and maintains direct eye contact, which can be others shy and avert their eyes ^^ like how hobi seems to be a little shy under Tae's gaze. Although I must say the person who is shyest about eye contact in the group has to be yoongi! haha!

Tae is a professional but this interview really was and felt more like a conversation. The way Tae framed the questions was not scripted, it was personal. Tae created a more intimate feeling to help Hobi relax and open up without forgetting that it was an interview. If you watch TETE FM Vlive where Jhope visited Tae and Tae try to role play interviewing his guest you will see how Vhope dynamic works. For Tae interviewing Jin, Jimin or JK would have been a lot harder.

Hobi is an INFJ, me too. We do like privacy and want to keep things as a surprise, not giving all the details of possibilities. Hobi is now a solo performer and doing the music he wants to while still remaining part of BTS. Max, what have you done to me? I came across one of your videos by chance and gave it a go. Now I just can't stop watching them 'cause by looking more deeply into their personalities you made them grow on me even more. I'm more of a kdrama fan than a kpop fan, I'll have to admit but in the last few days I started looking for more content about BTS and little by little started to unveil all the mysteries surrounding the group. All that came to me were videos about their accomplisments as a group, as a band and then I saw your videos talking about their communication skills, and personalities and they gave a whole different perspective on their individuality. For me now them as individual members of the group as opposed to their unity itself gets a lot more of my attention. Since the beginning, V was the person who called most of my attention. Maybe it's because he's the only one who's been involved with kdramas, reality shows or his proximity to some of the kactors that I love.
