❣Jimin, growing up, since quite young age, even pre mid school, was always into hip hop & r&b music. Aside from Rain, Taeyang, & BoA, Korean idols, known not just for amazing vocals, but their dance ability, Jimin was also heavily influenced, with other role models, such as Chris Brown, & Usher. So it goes to follow he’d also appreciate other equally well known artists who also were amazing dancers & performers aside from vocal ability. It also goes without saying that Jimin, was indeed heavily influenced by MJ. He even taught Jin to moon dance for Dynamite MV, also Jimin was the one that suggested other MJ moves also for BTS song “Dynamite”. Jimin already at early age of 10, started studying hip hop at the renowned Just Dance Academy, in Busan, city where Jimin’s from, which teaches all the many different styles of hip hop. There is even a post made that shows a performance where young again 11 Jimin in 2007, not only performed already, on right front side of stage, but later on went in front and did a solo. JIMIN also competed, excelling in popping, & isolation moves, winning every competition. JIMIN also since a little boy, trained 8 yrs in various forms of martial arts: Taekwondo (blackbelt), Hapkido, Kendo, & Chinese martial arts. Side Note: When learning Taekwondo, as a little boy, I believe Jimin said that doing the splits was one of the first things required to be able to do. He said that he'd put his legs split, up against the wall for quite long, hrs at a time. This was aside from still attending middle school Jimin, where he was already into all kinds of sports, including being part of soccer team,, but also basketball, even joined after school billiards, also excelling in track & field throughout his schooling. 👍❤️‍🔥😍🐥🔥🥰 Then, while going to Busan Highschool of the Arts, he then also studied & performed contemporary. Media even called Jimin “The rising star of Busan” after seeing Jimin perform on stage during a huge festival. JIMIN also studied, some ballet as well as even traditional Korean dance. But Jimin’s main love was always hip hop. Though he did enjoy dancing contemporary, which Jimin indeed excels at, to this day all his dance movements, have his exquisite body placement, amazing elegant, poised, clean lines, as well as he also always stands, even without dancing, with out-turned feet, his foot positions always end up while dancing in classical out turned foot position, placement that classically trained dancers have. Jimin found he could express himself even more through contemporary dance. Very few dancers have the ability to dance as many styles of dance as well as have the ability to incorporate all of them, even his gravity defying, martial arts, moves in his dance. There’s a reason Jimin was not only give the official title of Main Dancer & Lead Vocalist, but has been awarded the prestigious titles for 5 yrs In a row, Best Dancer in Kpop, as well as 5 yrs King of Kpop. Jimin is called Stage Commander for a reason, his stage presence is on another level. Jimin is also called “Rookies Bible” because all rookies look up to him, watching his erformances. over & over, trying to emulate, & learn from his unmatchable, flawless, precise moves. So many trainees & rookies choose his songs to try to copy when competing, though even without singing, but just focusing on dance, always still fail to even come close.

Actually they have been performing together for over 10yrs if you count the trainee days but debut together for 10yrs. Their talent and brotherhood stretches far and deep. This was a good skit with JK (Black) and Jimin (White). I haven’t seen you dive into the group stuff but hopefully you will start there soon. Then you will appreciate their solo albums much more. Well just my opinion. ☺️ I’m sure ARMYs have also sent their suggestions and it can be overwhelming because BTS has a plethora of songs (MVs), dance practice videos, variety show (RunBTS, In The SOOP, and Bon Voyage). All that will keep you on your toes and smiling. 7 guys who are phenomenal singers and dancers, plus funny! All around entertainers. Enjoy your BTS journey. 💜

Jungkook was a back up dancer, but he started dancing in BTS several years as trainees before they debuted in 2013. Jimin, who wore the white, was a contemporary dancer and dance battle dancer before BTS. 10 years to be exact. BTS have been in the industry for 10 years. Jimin in white, BTS main dancer, lead vocalist and Jungkook in black, BTS main voaclist and lead dancer. The choreography for black and white is not as hard as their other choreography.

The great thing about BTS is the members are extraordinarily talented. They each have their own strengths for sure and are able to succeed both as solo performers and collectively as a group. Because they have been together for 10 years they have been able to learn and grow with each other's influence, hard work, and talents. Jungkook has said that he is the product of the other members because he has learned from all of them over the years. They've been great from debut and have evolved considerably into amazing artists artists and performers. Jimin and JHope are the strongest dancers in group (IMO), but Jungkook is also in the dance line and is a very strong dancer. They even named themselves the 3Js. I agree they have amazing chemistry and I think you'll continue to be impressed with all the members as you continue reacting to them.😮

I love when those 2 dance together. Their chemistry is insane. There are quite a few songs/dances where Jimin and Jung Kook dance together. One epic one was the MMA 2020 Black Swan performance, but there are a Lot more. I think if you liked that jacket trick, you need to watch the 64th Grammy Performance by BTS - it's the song Butter, but with a different twist on it. If you watch that one, realize that Jung Kook and J-Hope had literally Just gotten over Covid and cleared like a day or two before the performance. Jin was recovering from hand surgery and couldn't dance for most of it. The other 4 were the only ones that got to practice together a lot. I'll look forward to that reaction too. You also will likely be impressed by their 2020 MMA performance of Dynamite - and be sure to watch til the very end of it. Last, the 3J (J-Hope, Jimin and Jung Kook) did a special dance break for Butter (ft. Megan Thee Stallion - well her verse, she wasn't there). If you watch that, also be sure to watch the behind the scenes video on BANGTANTV channel.

You should definitely check out some of Jimin’s #ThisisJimin dances - particularly the stuck on you one, I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve watched it. Jimin dancing is a bit mesmerizing! But, since you were fascinated by the taking off of the jackets, you should watch the BTS Grammy performance of Butter. They do an epic version of it that’s just breathtaking. That was the best Grammy performance ever. Considering several of the members had tested positive for covid and couldn’t practice until the day prior to the performance and one injured their hand shortly before that and wasn’t cleared medically to dance (he still participated and also did a bit of dancing near the end), it was insane how well they did. I need to go watch that again!
