I don't know how much you know but Jin's dog Jjangu who was with him for 12 years passed away in 2017. And two sugar gliders this year too. Jin is a kind soul. I'm glad you liked the song. And for the lyrics like you said I think everyone can interpret their own way even tho he wrote for his pets.

I cried all through the night hugging and touching my doggy's head. And then I brushed into lots of tears when I read a mom's comment who lost her daughter right after her birthday early this year. She wrote this song is about not only pets but also anyone you may have lost in your life. And she ugly cry listening to this, because this song is her heart loving her daughter even though her daughter is no longer with her. Then she wrote thanks to Jin for this song. And I couldn't stop crying because of my mom who passed away. So sad and emotional song. I love Jin!! Jin's solo songs always make me cry. This song makes me recalled the memory that Jin held back his tears on V-live "Hongkong Eat Jin" as he talked about the death of his pet "Odeang". He always trys to not cry in front of his love, ARMY. He said he always wanted to show us good things. How warm he is!!! And don't forget to listen this song on the Sound Cloud.
