This show is highly relevant right now. So many parallels between the show and my home in Durango Colorado. It's sickening and sad. People moving in because they like the way it is and then they change it when they have no clue what it took to build or keep it.

This is one of the best series I have seen. Definitely goes in to my top 10 serious series(Breaking Bad, SOA, ER, House of Cards, Hannibal, Third Watch, American Horror Story, Roadies, Big Little Lies and now Yellowstone> note - these are not in order as I rank them all differently but they are my favs to date). I find there are a lot of similarities with the film Legends of the Fall and Kasey would be Tristan's character. The music, the bear, the cattle, the native issues, and so much more. The scenery is gorgeous. I'm actually watching it a second time right now. It's been signed for a second season so I can't wait to see what the ranch goes through as well as the Dutton's (as the finale said - the Dutton story isn't over just yet). I love how gritty Beth is, Kasey is the one that always gets the raw end of the deal, John runs the kingdom, Rip is a loyal servant and second son, the old cowboy guy that often helps Jimmy out is really cool and even though he has the brand he knows how hard it can be, Tate the kid that gives me so many laughs with his innocent humour, also a major shout out to all the horses used (they are gorgeous and amazing at their job, I have a soft spot for the stud that Kasey gave John though). I haven't really decided who is my single favourite character but they're all great and I love the mix of A/B/C list actors (superb casting as they all suit the role they have).

That said the Character RIP WHEELER he GETS IT. His character reflects many, many aspects of my life....ALTHOUGH my ranch VERY SMALL and the fact I was front line LAW ENFORCEMENT for 23 years isn't really an Honest reflection.
