The BTS meal experience in southern California was disappointing yesterday. While the food was tasty, the packaging was NOTHING like yours in SK (it was actually all their usual packaging with no reference to BTS whatsoever). Also very disappointed that we didn't receive at least a photocard with purchase. The only thing new or different was the two sauces.

I'm from Chicago & I did not get the BTS cup nor the BTS Mcnuggets box. They were the ordinary McDonald's design. The only BTS related products were the sauces & the takeout bag it came with. The workers here certainly weren't wearing the BTS x McDonald's t-shirts & definitely no purple balloons. Times like this, I wish I live in S Korea.

In the US your lucky if you get the bag. You would think with McDonald's being a US company that we would get more but it's the opposite we get the least. Not only does Korea get the BTS packaging but it looks like the store decorated but they play BTS's music that's how a collab should be done. 💜💛💜💛💜💛💜

The BTS Effect is really massive.

People all over the globe are upset about the packaging. Some places have gotten the full set, the purple bag, purple box, purple cup, and purple French fry holder. Others have gotten 1 or 2 pieces of the BTS packaging and some of us got not 1 piece of BTS packaging! McDonald's has really dropped the ball when it comes to utilizing their advertising to the fullest profit outcome. I don't usually go to McDonald's because it's 20 miles away. So unless I have to go into town for something, even if I have the urge for it, I won't go that distance for a sandwich. I would have if they had *ALL* the packaging for the BTS meal, more than a few times actually. So disappointed.

In Europe there is no such a promotion, except In Estonia/Latvia and Lithuania. Missing from UK as well. I wonder how they selected the countries...I would have like options in all the capitals in Europe. With personnel informed and music playing 24/7. I checked some reactions from USA ARMY and they were rightly disappointed. The whole place should have been purple, with right packaging and BTS music playing. Seems they did it half-heartedly. I feel you. I ordered it yesterday here in FL, and even the bag didn’t have any BTS logo or anything, just the ordinary one they use everyday. The only thing they changed for my meal was the addition of Cajun sauce (and no Sweet Chili!!). I’m sad.
