The level of dedication and perfection that is expected of them doesn't change from recorded video to live concert to variety show performance. They are expected to always perform to the same standard every time.

you should watch the bts countdown stage for tomorrow! With eng lyrics! It's amazing! Also their cypher 4 stage for bts countdown! Also they work with various choreographers but they have an in house choreographer, Son Seungdeuk (Mr. Son) and frequently are choreographed by Keone Madrid.

I stumbled across The Tide Pool while surfing BTS reactions. I went back and have now watched every single BTS reaction, gotta say I love'em. I like group reactions more than solo, there's more to watch and more perceptions and opinions. I appreciate the conversations you all have, it's not just someone reaching for views and numbers, you make good reaction videos. Must say, David is my favorite. I utterly enjoy how enamored he is by BTS, how excited he gets, etc. BTS is my bias group, the best in the business IMO. Please please continue your kpop journey by reacting to more BTS music videos, more lives (Go Go is a good one), their dance practices (AMAZING to watch), and perhaps check out their Cyphers (basically rap songs by Rapmon, J-hope, and Suga. Insane bars). By the way, in the DNA video Alejandra (sp?) mentioned that there was another video you were going to react to. I think she meant "Love Yourself 承 'Her - Intro: Serendipity". You should also react to Sea (it's a hidden track of the Her album). It's one of BTS most personal songs, it talks about the journey they had to climb to get where they are now. (i.e. from having to sleep all in one room, to having a house with separate bedrooms)

You have to see their Go Go live performance, it's also from the same comeback show. BTS can dance and sing for 3 hours straight. They used to practice 15 hours a day non stop, just to do amazing live performances. Now they've brought that down to 10 to 12 hours a day. Their synergy is incomparable to other groups. When making mvs they used to work from 5am till 6 the next day. Because of money constraints. So they took naps on sets. Now they are afforded more leeway. Still just thinking about how hard they work is exhausting. Just for this comeback, they were doing full performances twice a day.

You should watch more of their live performances, concerts and dance practices coz they're 10x more amazing! And yes, you'll be mesmerized watching them in person! BTS is the best! Btw, did you know that they write and produce their own songs? They have choreographer but JHope is their dance leader. He's in charge of learning and perfecting the choreography and teaching them to the members that's having difficulty learning it. He's a very strict and perfectionist dance leader. He also act as the choreographer when they're on tours. I love BTS!

Their title songs like Dope,Blood Sweat &Tears, Fire, Not Today ( I have a strong feeling about DNA but it's not confirmed yet) was choreographed by Keone Madrid and they have a choreographer Son Sungdeuk and then J-hope as a dance leader usually helps to teach the moves to the members.

Why as far as i could see about kpop...Just BTS n Bigbang have everything in music, good in dancing, composing, voice, rapping. Actually BTS' choreographer is Son Sung Deuk, well known for his job in South Korea, but J-Hope (BTS' member) is always involved in the making of choreo. ;)

If you want dope choreography that is done by the idols, you HAVE TO check out Seventeen's "Don't wanna cry" performance version, or a live stage of the song. Hoshi (one of the members) made the choreography and Woozi (another member) wrote and composed the song. The usually do that for all their albums and title songs, it isn't a one time thing. And it's great!

David-at the first prechorus, you said you thought the audience was doing the background, and you're not wrong! For live performances like this, the audience doesn't sing along to the whole song like Westerners often do at concerts. Instead there are fanchants, which are predetermined places in a song where the audience echoes a line, chants the members' names, inserts little exclamations, etc. Fanchants are a cornerstone of live kpop performances in general; fanchants enhance the songs rather than drown them out, and the performance becomes something of a joint effort between artist and audience. And if Paige is big into the choreography, I hope you guys will consider reacting to dance practices, especially for the songs whose music videos don't include choreography! You should watch their videos with english subs. The lyrics is so good and it can helps you to understand the story. I really like watching your reactions, because you're not just saying it's good, but you're also trying to figure out what's going on. Since you've finished the WINGS story (though not all of it, so it's still confusing, but it's okay. I think no one has solved the theory), I think you should continue with their new album, LOVE YOURSELF. It's including Mic Drop, but I think you should watch Highlight Reel first, then Serendipity, then DNA (which you already react). That's the order. Love Yourself has connection with Wings. I think BTS will make another MV to extend the riddle. For myself, I really want their song Best of Me featuring The Chainsmokers have an MV.
