Haha all of the MMA and MAMA award shows are RIDICULOUS. This is why fans get touchy when they are compared to Backstreet Boys 🤣 not that Backstreet boys were bad but they go above and beyond to put on a good show for their fans.

And to think this is just a performance for an award show is crazy. I remember watching this live and my jaw was probably dropped the whole time. After it was over I was like what the heck just happened, those 37 minutes flew by and I was never bored. They all did so well. I've probably watched over 50 reactions to this performance and I still consider it one of the best award show performances of all time by anyone.

It was a flipping major epic Theatre production. I doubt any award show could and would even dare to try to top that performance.

That’s insane, how could an artist sing and dance for 37 minutes and it was perfect performance with no mistakes and yea bts are the best performers you had ever seen 🔥bro they burn the stage and just make all fandoms scream and enjoy the perf 😩🌎✨

Mikrokosmos is sort of a love song :) It is written for the fans, it's about the love BTS has for their fans, who they consider their brightest stars who are always by their side. You need to read the song's full English translation because it will give you the feels.

It should also be noted that at the awards ceremony, BTS won all 4 of the major awards, known as Daesangs (artist of the year, album, song, record) as well as 3 other awards as a group and Suga got an award as a producer for another artist. Pdogg (Big Hit/Hybe) also won songwriter of the year. So the BTS stable took 9 awards that night . Oh , and TXT who are also BigHit got New Artist of the Year. They had more than enough exercise with all the getting up and sitting down to receive the awards , let alone that performance.

The Asian award shows love to bring in the fans on a large scale which makes the atmosphere so much better. Not just a few elites who can afford it or who have connections in the mosh pit at the front like on western award shows. And you can SEE the months of rehearsal that went into this. Once you go Korean you never go back!💜

We often tell people that BTS is over the top extra. They spent millions themselves on all the hundreds of extras, costumes, stage etc just for an awards show. I’m sure they pitched it as “sure we will just do 5 songs….” But they put on the most epic live performances I’ve ever seen. This was a chance for them to show their peers and the industry what absolute kings they are like they live to flex how good they are. Plus classic BTs it’s packed with meaning and messages about Greek gods. Congrats you survived watching 2019 MMA a true event!
