Just began this, I apologize for any "fans" who were mean and negative. I'm a firm believer that to be true ARMY you must approach things with as much positivity and respect just as BTS themselves do. Do you, it's your and your son's channel (& he's still a kid, you say it's his channel , people should try to be respectful and kind even if they criticize!) You guys do you. You're doing great. You're always respectful about the boys and that's what's important 😊 As BTS Jimin says, "you nice, keep going!" 💜 borahae boys 💜 Eta 11:56 Tae's voice (V) is so deep warm and comforting. And the growl to his voice in this song is the best! (I'm ot7 but Tae is my ult bias, of all groups. His voice comforts me, and I relate to the unique perspective he has on life, but I do love them all equally!) The intro to Dionysus, when the members are introduced to show off a dance, each of the songs playing are snippets of their earlier songs. And yeah dad's right Dionysus is Greek, the Greek god of wine and parties so the theme is Greek/roman, with the columns and Jin coming in on the trojan horse etc. Then in the actual song they sing " 1 shot, 2 shots" & the dance moves mimic taking a shot. Well done on knowing the members too, you remembered Jimin background in contemporary dance and everything. Really enjoy y'all's reactions, please keep them up! 💜 The songs that members dance to are: V - no more dream Jin - danger Jimin - I need you Suga - fire Jungkook - save me (you heard this in tiny desk, dad was correct) J hope - fake love remixed RM - Dionysus, then the song Dionysus begins. Jic you want to check out any from the snippets you heard 💜 34:15 the leopard is one of Dionysus 's symbols They're so amazing live! I was lucky enough to see them in LA dec 2021. The energy, amazing vocals and dancing, the audience participation of sing with/call & response, and the way they stop to talk to the crowd, make them so entertaining to see. I'm 50, I've seen a ton of concerts from heavy metal and punk to 80s alternative and rap. BTS was the best concert experience ever!

The song are all remixed and they are all Greek/Roman Gods: V as Apollo - sun God, Archer, Justice and Prophecy, son of Zeus Jin as either Ares or Athena - both are War Gods - Ares for wild battle and Athena for tactics (both are children of Zeus) Jimin as Artemis - Apollos older twin sister - Goddess of the Moon, the Hunt/Archery (his part was live - you can see him kick Jin's rose) (daughter of Zeus) Suga as Hades or Hephaestus - Hades is the God of the Underworld (one of the main Gods) & Hephaestus is the God of Smiths and maybe Fire (also a son of Zeus) Jungkook as Poseidon - God of the Sea (one of the 3 main Gods) J-Hope as Zeus - God of Lightning/Sky (Godfather, the main God - he wrote the song after all) RM as Dionysus - you already wrote what he is God of 💜 (also live; son of Zeus) Now guess who made a major mistake during his live performance? 😏 That's right: RM nearly hit himself where he would have definetly had trouble to perform after if he had hit. They teased him quiet a bit over it. The dance-break is BTW "N.O." That said - as hinted at - there are quiet a bit pre-recorded stuff here: Persona Microcosmos the entrences of Dionysus with the exception of Jimin and RM the horses (as if they would scare the poor animals like that - it is also probably forbidden) Mind you they did perform on stage just not what can be seen on TV. Still find it funny that after Jimin sang "text me" they showed the two members of TXT that were old enough to be still there. You nice! Keep oing, too! 💜

Remember this is an award show, which in the U.S. performances are about 5 minutes. All of BTS award show performances are awesome. I especially like the MMA 2020 awards performance. BTS have never given up thru adversity & I hope you both continue on your BTS journey. You will never regret it. We appreciate you. As a fellow reactor I can attest that hate comments have also made me want to quit and stop uploading all together, it’s hard when you’re doing your best and no matter what you do it’s never good enough for some people. I completely understand your frustration! I however am (selfishly) so glad you’re still making videos because your reactions are so genuine and it’s been awesome to watch your journey so far! Hi guys, I am so glad that you got to watch the 2019 Melon Music Awards, because they were truly incredible.💜 And I want to say how sorry I am that you have been getting hateful comments. Please believe me when I say that such people are not true ARMY, no matter what they may claim. No true Army would be so rude, cruel, and disrespectful. Thank you for finding a way to react to this incredible performance by BTS at the Melon Music Awards. I believe this was 2nd year in a row that BTS took home all 4 "daesangs" (major awards) at this award show, so they gave them 37 minutes or whatever. In my mind, this was The most epic performance I've ever witnessed and I'm in my 60's and have seen a lot! As for the audience, since this was an award show, I believe most of the people in the lower level were other performers or idols (the camera went to a few that waved at a couple points in the show). The people in the upper levels appeared to be mostly ARMY (BTS fans) and the thing we hold is called an ARMY Bomb (it's basically a light bulb on a handle but in BTS concerts, they sync it via Blue Tooth and can change the colors of it based on seating arrangement). I'll try to give you the songs they did in order in case you want to watch or listen to them separately, but other ARMY may have to help out in a few areas: Intro: Persona (RM solo) Boy In Luv Boy With Love (featuring Halsey in the song and MV) Mikrokosmos (the one with the planets, and I believe someone told me that part was pre-recorded) Then for Dionysus, solo parts leading up to that were: V doing "No More Dream" (I think - always forget this one) Jin doing "Danger" on the Trojan horse Jimin doing "I Need You" - the white contemporary dancer Suga doing "Fire" Jung Kook doing "Save Me" in the water J-Hope doing "Fake Love" - remix - the dance practice for this shows his moves better - this filming looked cool but too dark to see all his movements. RM being the leader he is and grasping the staff, to get back to Dionysus (God of Wine). Each of the above members represented a Greek God (Like God of War, Fire, Water, etc., but I don't remember them all and hope another ARMY will fill you in). Then the bit with the horses and such - it seems like in every award show I've seen them do they always bring in something that has to do with Korean history, so I think the same about this part. Also, someone told me before that the part with live horses was pre-recorded so they wouldn't be as scared. Then Dionysus, which was crazy intense (could you hear the loud breathing at the very end when there were on the chairs?). Anyway, the electronic flashing lights part of that was a remix of one of their early songs, which I think was N.O. but might be wrong (sorry). Also, apologies for the long comment. I hope you do continue on the BTS journey. Thanks again.

BTS’s whole message as a group of artists and musicians is to be positive; loving ourselves and each other, and I love to reflect that. I hope those mean Armies can direct their anger and frustration to a better cause rather than wasting it away on silly things. I’m just glad you can enjoy BTS for who they are as artists and as people. This performance production was astonishing especially when you remember that it’s not even their concert! Also about the lights that the fans were holding, they are our special light stick called an Army bomb. Many artists in Kpop these days have a light stick designed for the fans, when taking them to concerts you can connect it to your seat where the light production team can create different pictures and words within the crowd at the concerts. On the copyright issue, I guess it just depends on the video you’re watching, if the video is more important cutting out or putting something over the music, if the sound matters maybe cut up the video or pause? I’m not too sure. Obviously that is a lot of work though, since editing takes time, but I guess you’ll learn your ways around these things as you continue to grow your channel. You were right! That song is a remix of Save Me. Each of their individual performances' music is the remix of one of their older songs, which matched with a part of the theme about looking back in the past. And the last song "Dionysus" is kind of singing about the artists who they are now and they will continue to be in the future. So basically the whole performances looking back on how they have come with army, celebrate it, and realising who they are or their persona is in the process. And identified themselves as artists and showing their mindset being one in the end. From the first song "Persona" raising the question about "Who am i?", to the last song "Dionysus" giving the answer " making musics and arts give us lives, we are mad artists and we won't stop."

So glad to see you both back. Since you watched Taylor's Guide to BTS, you know they all started at the very bottom, many of them never singing and/or dancing before. What blows me away is how hard they have worked to become the entertainers they are. It's unimaginable in my world and I respect BTS so deeply for many, many things. I'm so happy that father and son get to share this experience together - it's really beautiful. Also Dad, don't be afraid to reach other to other reactors for advice on how to not get blocked. The BTS rapline (RM, Suga, J-Hope) did an entire song about online haters that you might enjoy reacting to since you can sadly relate ("UGH!", and you should probably also react to the explainer video for the lyrics by DKDKTV since the song has some Korean cultural idioms and references in the lyrics that we westerners wouldn't understand)..... For the record though, I have to admit I have a real issue with ARMYs who are constantly asking/telling new BTS reactors to watch MMA 2019 - it doesn't make any sense! Why have people watch the most epic performance by a group they barely know, who will be singing songs they don't know, in a language they can't understand??? Those new reactors simply will not be able to fully appreciate the performance this way!! Why do ARMYs want new reactors to watch something they can't truly appreciate? That robs the reactors of a fully realized experience out of pure ARMY selfishness. Please stop telling new reactors to watch MMA 2019 the first day/week they discovered BTS!! I'm sorry you had to experience the "bad side" of fandom culture. Unfortunately there are toxic people everywhere, but I do hope that that 95% of true army give you enough love so you can experience how truly awesome this fandom is. Personally, I heard of BTS through my (then) 10 years old daughter five years ago, and watching you going down the rabbit hole with your son is precious to me. They sold out stadium concert in the world including wembley stadium, sofi stadium, rose bowl stadium, even in Brazil, Japan and Saudi Arabia. This was an awards show! Just imagine their concerts. The lights you saw are called ARMY bombs. They are BTS fandom light sticks. I’m so shocked that you have been receiving hate comments. I’m so sorry that you and your son had to through this and so hurtful that you are giving up on BTS. You must do what is good for you and your son. I thought you guys were doing great and showing so much respect. It’s such a shame that this has come too far in the boundaries. Unfortunately we do have very immature people in the fandom whether it is age immaturity or emotional. Some people are just hateful and focus on the negativity. BTS and army are so amazing together. True Army aren't hateful. They are helpful loving peaceful as BTS would want that. They never spread negative. I just dont understand how some reactors don't have any problems with showing things and others get blocked. It's frustrating. Also you could make it a slight blurded screen that way it's covered but yet can still see everything. I love when families are involved lol. I'm 47 and none of my kids or grandkids care. Not that they don't like BTS it's just not their kind of music so they don't listen. But I love BTS. I'm OT7 all the way but my top of the list 1st is Suga and Jin. Because when you listen to them they have the power to pull you in with their songs and make you feel and if your the one living it. Tugs at heart strings. They all are wonderful and beautiful singers but those 2 none other do that. The rawness and passion that comes out in waves are unmatched. It's great you are going down BTS rabbit hole they are truly the best and best boy band in my opinion that has ever been. Not just for the dancing and singing because BTS goes way way beyond all that.

If a person gives negative comments they are not a real army cause BTS never encourages us to hurt others instead they thought us to love ourselves and others. They are our role models and we are following their steps , so if you come across anyone who is putting you down just know that they aren't a real army and their opinion doesn't matter. Please understand that there is a small percentage of ARMY keyboard warriors who are so self-absorbed that they traverse male newbie reactor channels trying to make their reacting uncomfortable instead of giving them space and education so they might also become ARMY. Even la creme de la creme of newbies has suffered this. Even male commenters such as myself have received hate from a limited few often over trivial things. Fortunately for me it for the most part has evolved to simply not receiving likes for my comments even if they are virtually identical to other liked comments. Interestingly, on rare occasions I now get nice comments mostly from older ARMYs. So do not sweat the fuzzy strawberries. They do not ruin the whole pint even if they tend to make it difficult to consume what is good. I'm with you and think you are doing a great thing for and with your kid.

I get they can be provocative but I was expecting to provoke discussion, something I think Armys love to do. And I get that for the most part males being part of that discussion is a newer phenomenon. For the “universe” you saw, they prerecorded the signing and fan interaction and then during the award show they showed that performance on large screens to the audience. The planets were added digitally but I believe the drones above them are real. They needed a “break” during the show to setup for the next performance. 😀

It's heartwarming to see a father supporting his son's channel. I hope those negative comments will not discourage you from continuing this channel. And I think it's a problem all KZbinrs face in social media. So I wouldn't worry too much about them. As you say, BTS spreads positivity and inclusivity. I hope both of you will enjoy the journey with BTS. And just a little tip. Please pay attention to the lyrics cause BTS put a lot of work into them to convey positive and meaningful messages. To add to the many voices here - there are many people who aren’t in a psychologically stable space as well as trolls who wear a fan costume to sow discord and wreck beautiful things. You see this manifested throughout the world - visitors who deface prized antiquities, friends who poison others’ relationships. I hope you’ll be able to stay strong in the face of the meaningless hate. Too often, the things that shine the brightest also attract the most venomous responses from those who are most damaged.

Its very sad to hear that you've had some hate from people that claim to be ARMY, im 18 yrs old and have been a fan for 4yrs I became a fan by taking an interest in who they were when a stranger at my table in school was being bullied for liking them and it was an instant click for me. now that stranger and I are best friends and we don't let anyone bully us for loving our boys it has truly been the best 4 yrs of my life I have also turned my mom into a massive fan and as someone who is very close with their family it is so lovely to see a father and son enjoy our boys, I truly appreciate the fact that you took the time to watch and still upload the video of the guide to bts regardless of how difficult it may have been to do so, I truly can't wait watch you through this journey. Boa reação, realmente espero que continuem descobrindo o bts, aqui no Brasil muito reatores passaram por uma cituaçao parecida, chegando ao ponto que já não queriam fazer reações ao bts e o fandom conhecido como tóxico, mas ai um KZbin que também era army fez um vídeo onde após meses de pesquisa ele descobriu que alguns desses comentários vinham de pessoas que faziam parte de outros fandons, mas que a maioria eram de pessoas que simplesmente espalhvam ódio na internet referente a tudo que vinha da cultura asiática.
