When I first started my journey down the BTS rabbit hole, at first, I found Suga cold. But as I kept watching them and focused on him, I realized that he isn't cold at all, but quite the opposite. He's a very sweet and humble man. He's my bias from the rapline. I love him so much.

To give you background on V’s statement 22:23, they were going through tremendous pressure during 2017-2018. There are so many interviews regarding it about that time where the members talk about it. Their most recent one being the Suchwita episodes with Jin and the one with V. They were suddenly started getting more famous in USA with the BBMA and AMA appearances, the new album releases and practices to the point where they were thinking about disbanding instead of extending their contracts. I don’t know whether they had any major issues with management and the members mostly talked about the exhaustion and stress and how they couldn’t escape it. They decided to sign because of each other and army. The stress affected mostly V and JK being the young ones. I think they are recovered now. We only know what they have shared. If you want to know more about it you can watch their 2018 mama speech as well as Jin’s and V’s Suchwita episodes.

Regarding the hate comments you are getting, I am sorry you are getting them. Ignoring them might not be easy for you because you are a creator. You are putting the effort to record a video and edit it which then is criticized and worse commented out of context. It is sad because you get a wrong idea about army. I hope as you learn more about bts and more about army you will be able to differentiate between true army and the posers. All true army have a bias who is their favorite person in the group but loves other 6 too. For Jody, it is Jimin and Eman it is Jungkook. That is fine. You pointed out V was late on bon voyage, which was because he was filming a drama at the time and had obligations. They were burnt out at the time. I am sure since they renewed their contract before going in the military, they got whatever they wanted because they could have gone to any company if they were not happy. That was the president giving them an award for cultural merit. They were the youngest to ever receive it.

I wanna say 3 things for you guys as you continue reacting to bts. 1) as a person that has been an army since 2014, I can confirm there definitely are some toxic people in our fandom but I suggest you guys ignore them & don’t interact with them, that’s what the non-toxic armys do because giving toxic fans attention is what keeps them going. 2) while a lot of armys are ot7 (meaning they stan bts/like all 7), the truth is that every army has a bias & that’s fine, it’s fine to gravitate towards 1 member, that’s doesn’t make you a solo. For example, I like all members but my bias is Yoongi. It’s fine to have a bias in the kpop world as long as you are respectful/not hateful towards the rest of the members. A solo stan is someone who likes only 1 member/gives all their attention to one member while totally ignoring & sometimes being hateful to the rest of the members. In my opinion, you guys don’t seem like solos. 3) I’ve watched you guys since you started reacting to bts & sometimes the things you guys say are a result of being misinformed. That’s fine since you guys are still learning about bts, but to prevent the spread of misinformation, if you guys don’t understand something or are curious about something, feel free to ask questions or use Google, don’t rely on this comment section 100% because sometimes I come across misinformation or opinions/thoughts that people disguise as facts when they aren’t. I suggest you guys learn more about bts by watching their documentaries, compilation videos here on KZbin about the members, watch run bts episodes, watch member focused videos, etc. Anyways, I love your honesty, I can’t wait to see your growth from reactors to army. 💜

You'll just be talking without having full context and history! 😂 I will say this...we have to be mindful of filtering what they say and translations into what you said...the American language. Alot of misunderstanding of what they mean in Korean and what we mean in the English language has occurred. 😅He has said many times that he loves his brothers and agency. Y'all have to watch so many other video's to full context. Now saying all that, them mens is tired...Army demands, industry demands, their own cultural toxicity, solo fans, clout chaser putting words in they mouth...etc. when it comes to idols, not being able to just do normal crap over that like you said artist have freedom to do that here. 25:10. You are right about V's personality change. He used to be extremely goofy when he was young. He's still funny and goofy today, but now he's more guarded and mature. Many things contributed to it. I'm not speaking for V, but I think some things that were the reason were: 1- his grandma passing away ( his grandparents were like his parents, raised him for a long time) in 2016. He was on work schedule when she passed away. Also, the tremendous pressure in 2017-18 affected him a lot. He talks about it on Suchwita with Suga. Thankfully he has a much more positive mindset now. And he still has that childlike innocence in him, which is a good thing.

At first, when I started getting to know BTS, I even thought about stopping following them, because I didn't think it was fair all the pressure they were going through and still having to deal with so much criticism. All of them were like as long as we r together, as long as they r together, they could say f it all and go together. But their terms were met. I never thought about it, but it is hard to be a new fan. There is so much context that is missing when you make assumptions about what is being said, and because of that many of them are wrong. Many Army get annoyed sometimes, cause we are so used to knowing about them constantly, all the info is just here in our brain, that it is almost incomprehensible to us how can you get to the conclusions you do. When ARMY is correcting you, we not hating. It usually does not come from our own baseless assumptions and interpretations, but because we heard from BTS themselves so much more than you did. We can't even pinpoint the moments, because there are so many of them. It can be an interview from a Japanese magazine interview translation we read back in 2017, or behind scene video in DVD of 2019 or live one of them did in 2020. Old fans watched months-long video content they provided, read book series worth of their interviews all that info is ingrained somewhere in our heads that lets us to interpret things more accurately. It is possible to gather that impossible amount of info because you daily keep up with things that are made available year after year. I can't imagine myself becoming an Army in 2021 and going back try to consume all that there is provided by them until then trying to catch up. How is that even possible? With years passing by like this you see them change, their mindset change, and see them backtrack from their beliefs on some topics because with time they realize they were wrong and said they realized they were wrong and declare new things they think are true and then question them too. I can't explain it well enough. It is like when a new Army watching something they see a moment in time, when an old army watching it sees a moment in time and also a path that leads them to this moment in time. And there is a big difference. And things get complicated and twisted with more and more fans joining at different points of time, cause new fans are usually loudest voices, they without knowing share false info with new Army and circles of misinformation just keeps spinning. I get sad when old accounts that was there for so many years become silent because it is hard to be the voice of reason among new ARMY craze and blind adoration, and if you not doing the same then you are labeled as a solo stan, hater and get harassed to the point of them just silently watching BTS, keeping up with their new content and saying nothing at all anymore. I seen so many cases like that over the years.

I think my problem with you guys' reactions is the fact that your opinions about the members and their work are basically just assumptions and coming from not really paying attention to what is being said or cause you just don't know the context. The members were talking about their burnout in 2018 and them not being sure on whether they should resign their contracts cause they were working too hard and without breaks (which they consented to/decided to do). + Suga is a really important member of bts. He is one of the main producers and songwriters of the group so it wouldn't work without him... like ever... just like every other member, he has a specific role and the group would feel incomplete with one member missing. | Also if you dont like what armys have to say to your constant negative views, opinions and criticism of bts, then maybe stop reacting to them? Every1 has a bias but Armys love all 7 members equally. When we say Armys love all 7 equally doesnt mean exact equal like in maths. I feel you may hav gotten the wrong idea of what loving all 7 equally means. It means that we appreciate all 7, we dont want just 1 member to succeed, we want all to succeed. Obviously 1 member will do better than another in numbers (there r a lot of factors affecting numbers and charts) but its not about numbers, its about how we feel. BTS are some of the hardest working people in entertainment, partly because this is the Kpop culture of churning out music and content but also because they’re hard on themselves to work extra. There’s a clip of Jimin going to the Apple Store to get an Ipad and he barely had time to pick one out, he had to give his card to a manager and ran back into the van. Unfortunately at their level of fame it’s not practical to just enjoy a day off in public.

You speak what you feel rather act to please people, just for followers. I have been an army since 2014.Jimin introduced me to BTS with his MAMA 2014 performance. Just want to clarify that V was busy with his Korean drama schedule and that's why he joined the boys late on that so called Bon Voyage episode. Please continue reacting to BTS.I feel bad for them as they can't reveal their personal life. There are tons of toxic fans who have opinions which are very harsh, and these boys have to restrict themselves frm doing a lot of things due to stalking and death threats. Being a fan doesn't give us a right to have a say abt their personal life nor go around bad-mouthing others for their opinions abt the boys as long as it isn't harmful n tasteless.

You're really diving in head first into the boys, and I wish everyone in the comments was more understanding towards you two. For me, I also spent the first months watching things on my own and I kept learning new things as I watched more. I also had a period where I saw the "company" as a big evil factor. Because that's just the way the world works. But as you hear the boys talk more directly about the company, that impression could soften. You can say "they said it literally", but just like any person, I think you do step into it with your own previous understanding. It just depends on with what nuance you read it. There's crazy fans that go to airports, distrubs their personal lives or believes they have ownership over the boys. But they exist in all types of pop culture, and BTS is just the centre of pop culture now. Those "fans" are not ARMYs, and they are also named seperately by the boys. The BTS boys have admiration and pride for true ARMYs, as they talked about in this episode. I think it would help you with getting a new view on ARMYs if you'd name "fans" seperate from ARMYs. We actually work very hard across all social platforms to try and keep our community clean, and block and report any crazy fans to make a division between us. For example anyone that uploads or reposts unconsented videos of the BTS boys in their private time, we try to block and report. But there's ten thousands of them. Ten thousands is a lot, but the percentage over millions of ARMY is certainly less than 5%. So I think we are doing well 😂

During this time, they were all struggling and questioning, resigning their contracts, not just V. V did change a bit. He went through some life heartaches, losing his grandma and stress. I don't think the guys expected the growth they had to happen so fast. But here we are, and they resigned again!! They have more balance now. The company isn't perfect but better than most lol But remember, they also have stock in the company as well. Now they are more vocal and have more say with this new contract. Jimin lives for the stage he actually got depressed when they couldn't perform. He is another person in stage!! He and Jhope are my bias, and you're ok to have one. I still support all of them, but those two pull at my heart strings. It sucks to see how toxic comments have really tainted your experience. I hope you understand that ARMY doesn’t regard those types of people as real ARMY but immature zealots. BTS always preaches love and understanding. The more you acknowledge and interact with the toxic energy the more of it you’ll attract, those ppl love to hate watch. Try to focus on the positive energy and remember that some ppl are just looking to stir the pot. BTS have a good relationship with their agency. Not only have they re signed for a third time with their label, they also got gifted share of the Hybe company by the ceo when it went public(unheard of ). Big hit not only has a very relaxed horizontal management structure, there was always a lot of care for the mental health of the members(quite unusual in s Korea). Not that there were never mistakes made or that the members never suffered, but overall they have expressed love towards the supporting staff of their company .Only anti's and solo stans think they are at odds . What V was saying was that the greatest motivation for him was the connection to his fellow band members and the relation to the company was a afterthought. it speaks of his affection towards the members not necessarily of conflict with the company. The amount of Information regarding BTS is overwhelming and often twisted or misconstrued. Most army trying to correct misinformation don't mean any harm.

He's not preferred over all other members for me. I just have an inclination towards him. My love of the other members isn't less than my love for him. In f/x, I don't have a bias. My take on loving all seven equally while having a favorite/bias: It means you want all of them to succeed, so you support them equally, in streaming and voting (for awards), in appreciating their talents. Having a bias simply means you can relate more to a specific member, whether to his music or his personality. So an ARMY might like a member more, but they love all members equally. Suga often sneaks up on people because he's such a quiet guy. But once you explore his solo discography, you'll find how powerful his music is. He also plays an important role in the group, as one of the main songwriters along with RM and J-hope, the musical pillars of BTS. He was the driving force of the album series "The Most Beautiful Moment in Life", which became the turning point of their career. BTS compacted 20 years' worth of career into 7 years because they're all hard-working and driven people. These are people who voluntarily do extra practice on top of hours of they already do together. The mistreatment they received from the music industry (not their label) only drove them to work even harder to prove themselves. BTS did experience overwork in early 2018 due to their meteoric rise in popularity in the west, and they seriously considered disbanding because of it, but it wasn't solely because the label pushed them to work. Suchwita episodes with Jin and V talked about this time period and it's clear that they themselves realized that this period of fast growth was an opportunity that they couldn't miss out on. When they renewed their contract with their label in 2018, they made sure that their huge contribution to their label was reflected in the contract.

Jin has talked about in a live many years ago, and not for nothing, they are basically partners in their agency in many ways. They even refer to BangPD as their work dad. Any contention you're seeing between them and their agency is coming from your own bias against labels (which fair enough there are enough shitty management companies/agents), but BTS and Bighit/Hybe move differently when it comes to managing their artists and they have made changes even to how artists are treated at broadcasting companies, etc so that they aren't taken advantage of like they have been in past years. Hybe and labels under Hybe are actually highly regarded by artists and potential trainees in South Korea.

I'm not saying the agency is perfect, but there are numerous times when the members actually praised their staff and label (even until recently). Also the time when V missed time in Bon Voyage, him and Jimin had *clearly* stated that he was working on a k-drama; ofc he won't be able to juggle everything at once. They were all done not because of the agency but because they were all tired of the schedules. Also he was always being attacked on social media because of his demeanor at those times. I remember that time in American Hustle Life when Nate told him that he is reffered to as the dumb blonde of the group. Imagine being told that in a show . That is shown in public. Wouldn't you be hurt? Over and over they are being bashed . I’ve been watching KZbin BTS reactors since 2017 and I promise you the BEST thing you can do is completely ignore the negative toxic comments that aren’t giving constructive criticism. I’ve been on countless Patreon and discords and I promise it will die down if you stop feeding them by acknowledging them. They won’t ever go away completely bc there will always be miserable people who need to spread their toxicity to others and try to control people. But eventually they will get bored of not getting attention and find some else to harass. Also, please please please stop referring to the crazies, mean, and toxic people as Army. We do not claim them. They are either fans or solos or antis. There IS a difference between a fan and Army (or any specific fandom). Army have our own etiquette and code of conduct that we uphold. No real Army will harass someone or threaten them - that is not the message BTS spreads and we take their message seriously. There are many many solos, antis, and casual fans who self proclaim themselves as Army and hide behind our name to start drama, write their own narrative, and attack people/other fandoms (Army have even exposed ppl from other fandoms doing this). I know it’s hard to separate it in the beginning bc even I was put off by self proclaimed Army who were immature and toxic - it prevented me from calling myself Army in the beginning until I found real Army who were supportive and loving and RESPECTFUL of the guys. It’s really hard and off putting hearing y’all keep talking negatively about Army when it isn’t actually us, it’s the solos/casuals who are doing a fantastic job at making you, and many others out there, believe that’s how we roll when we don’t. Stalkers/ssaesangs and solos stalk the guys, go to their location, swarm the airport, etc even when we constantly tell them to leave them alone. Army do NOT support or participate in invading their personal lives, and the guys know that and have even acknowledged it many times. They know the difference between Army and casual fans or solos or ssasaengs - and that is why they show love all the time to the Army bc they know who we are and can differentiate us from toxic people. You really should watch Suchwita…..Suga’s talk show. Pick the one with Jimin, V, Jungkook…..there is even 1 with Taemin where Jimin joins half way through since he is a very close to him. They just signed their 3rd seven year contract with HYBE 2 years early. Also, HYBE recently acquired Ithaca Holdings, Scooter Brauns company, which houses Justin Bieber, Arianna Grande, and many other famous artists. So basically they are now under the same company as BTS. These guys are not only committed to each other, but to the company as well. The members of BTS have alot of creative freedom, unlike most other groups. Don't fall into the trap of these solo stans, as they can be very toxic. Just be careful. 💜

As others have said many solos will pretend to be ARMY and go around spreading hate. It happens everyday. They praise you until you don’t agree with what they think or who they want you to support (bias). Many large twitter accounts and reactors have been attacked by them. As ARMY I love each and every member and think they are all vital to BTS. But I understand not everybody is as familiar with them as me. I think overtime you will learn more about and see why it is that we love and support them all so much. It’s not something I can tell you it’s something that you will come to understand as time goes on. Cheers!

They weren’t gonna quit because of us actually.Bts and army share a bond that most celebrities and their fans don’t.Sure there are toxic and crazy Armys and I’m sure Bts knows that but they actually genuinely love us and always want to do the most for us even when they’re tired. Bts were just really exhausted that time cause they overworked themselves and the internet and just a lot of hardships. It’s not cause of armys. Despite the toxic side of armys you guys have seen,the good side of army is more. We are very nice and welcoming to people and we’ve done a lot for our boys. We fought tooth and nail to get Bts where they are today. Both Bts and army fought and broke so many barriers. The hate was soo much at a point and Armys did their best to fight them off.the charities,surprises,the love, the care, the live conversations we’ve had with them and the laughter…all these are why Bts and army are so close and why Armys are very protective of them. Some take it too far but don’t let that stop you from getting to know our boys more. You can be an army,anyone can. We’re armys cause we love the Boys and nothing else. You can love Jimin the most and it’s okay. We all have biases. My bias is j hope. I just hope you can dive more into the other members. I’ve really been wanting you to react to j hope “more” mv and dance practice. I’m just so sure you’ll love it. Thanks for all the reactions so far❤

A lot of people from other Fandoms will join a live and ask inappropriate questions and cause problems. So on most W live you will have a set of army reporting inappropriate questions.. as soon as they pop up it is red flag..

I am army and i love all the boys but you are right it is hard to love them all equally. I love one a little bit more than the other because i personally connected with him a little more. But i try to support them equally. I understand where you are coming from so dont stop reacting here on youtube.
