It was an honor and a big deal to perform for MTV unplugged - I am so happy for them they had that opportunity. And they performed so well. Jin was trending a day ago - "the stunningly looking guy with the pink mic" was apparently at it again, LOL. I can´t wait for promised mix tapes, hopefully coming soon.

FYI that are not "all" their record on the wall, just about 1/4th of the total. It's just that BigHit hasn't bought the rights to 3/4th of their RIAA certifications, which annoys us a lot.

I love a lot of their music live, their is just more feeling. Thanks for the throwback. I swear when we do car rides we listen to a large amount of their old music than their current. Don’t get me wrong I love all their music is just a groove thing. My kid is a huge fan BTS World OST album. She says that it is hugely underrated. Monq be careful with the BU. It is VERY time consuming. There is so much interconnected with VCRs, M/V. I know your person will help you map it all out. Thank you again for your reaction and thoughts. MTV BTS unplugged was really good. It was too short. I was so happy to see/hear Suga again after his shoulder surgery. Their album BE is true gem during COVID19. This album is also very special because, they took part in every section into making this. It's also a kind of yourney of how they felt during COVID19 etc. They miss ARMY and found out that they are together to help each and also through their music they could help us. I hope that you are going to watch/listen to the whole MTV BTS unplugged because, they did 5 songs; Telephaty Blue and Grey Fix You (cover from Coldplay) Life goes on DYNAMITE So 4 songs from the BE album. In between they explained a little who wrote it etc. The reason why they did the cover was because, they are listening to it a lot at the moment. I have the the original song by Coldplay on CD and BTS did it so good. I don't have words for it. RM, JHope, Suga, Jin, Jungkook, V, Jimin are life always better in my opinion. There's sadly enough at the moment in Germany a host from Bayern's 3 network made very hatefull and racist comments towards BTS after he BTS'S MTV unplugged with even saying that they are a virus like COVID19 and that we need a vaccin for 20 years against this boy band. A German ARMY put it online for everyone to hear. I've listened to Mattias Matuschik. I'm Dutch but, I can speak/write German too. I feel very sad towards all Seven Members because, this is not just an opinion. It's pure hate. BTS doesn't deserve that. No one does. Anyway I hope that you are going to watch/listen to the whole MTV BTS unplugged. Yoongi is still recovering from his shoulder surgery so he needs to take good care. I don't know if you listened to BTS in the NPR Tiny Desk Concert (with band) or the ARMYPEDIA. Those are also good. By the way I looked at your playlist and a lot of music you have on there I like too. My youngest son likes for instance the Wu-Tang Clan. He's got a couple of albums from them.when he likes the music and the musician he wants to know more about them and starts to look into their history. Sorry, for the long story. One of their best live performances is the NPR Tiny Desk Concert that has 3 songs performed with a small backing band. Informal, seated performance. Dynamite is included and has even more fire than the MTV version. I'd love to hear your reaction to that.

What you said about live performances. I sometimes hear a song and think it's ok and then i hear the live performance and it's my favourite song. Most of the song I've got in my playlist got there only after hearing live.

I guess you have not watched their Tiny Desk performance yet? That was the first time they performed Dynamite live with a live band and that would be my fave. But this MTB unplugged is excellent and just showcases even more growth in their vocal skill .

BTS music are amazing and it becomes 10x more when they perform it live. BTS are the greatest performers alive! I love and respect the original Fix You but BTS always make their cover songs their own! BTS is the best! There’s nothing like BTS!

If you're gonna go for the BU, that is quite literally the next step of initiation xD Have you dwelled into the Most Beautiful Moments in Life era yet? Here they start showcasing their vocals more, and the storyline starts. With Wings (including Blood Sweat Tears that you know v well), we get the first set of solos (not solo projects that you've seen, this is released as part of BTS), but its still to some degree connected to the storyline, and sprinkling some classical art. Then in the Love Yourself we get great solos, some cool messages and a new aspect of the storyline gets confirmed(but the storyline takes the back seat). This leads us into MOTS, which is a whole psychological theory of self that one must learn before getting into it properly. I'm still discovering aspects to it, but for example, the psychologist dr. Murray Stein, writer of the book that the MOTS series is based on, reads Boy with Luv as a throwback to when the psychiatrist Karl Jung (about as important as Freud, and the subject of the MOTS book) dreams of an oasis where he sees his soul manifested for the first time in the form of an Asian woman. This eventually leads him to create a whole theory of self, what it is made of, how to treat patients etc. So not only does Halsey in this song represent ARMY, supporting BTS, and not only is it a throwback to Boy in Luv and how their sense of love has matured, but she could also be interpreted as their collective soul, which makes the meeting a first step into the discovery of self ;)

ok , it seems that a lot of ppl are disappointed at some members live performance (not you MONQ) , let me tell you OFC the live version wont be the same as the track one , in special dynamite , its a song that when was released was so over edited to make the notes higher than they are thats why for a lot of us sounded not so BTS-ish , because it seemed simple and with a lot of auto tune , obviously making it hard to match in a live performance ,that is the only critic i have for Dynamite ,that being said i like Dynamite , like any other song . As for ppl saying that JK doesnt deserve to be the main vocalist well ok its your opinion , BTS themselves said that they choose who is the best for each part so if you dont like the distribution of any song is BTS who you must blame ,if there is someone to blame , for me is useless . Also there is a diference between critizicing an member performance and straightforward shitting on a member to favour another one . its ok to have a favorite but when you start to say that x member sucks or z member doesnt deserve something , please educate yourself about BTS creative process and how they work with BH . that doesnt help the group and also doesnt help your fav either , if you find that you cant live without x or n member please search help , its not healthy for you. I have been noticing the very same unfortunatelly. Go to DJ Jino’s live or any other bigger reaction channel and you will read exactly the same pitiful litany of a certain undeserving, sucky, weak, overhyped main vocalist JK. I wonder what the boy had done to deserve such treatment. My heart is aching and he is not even my bias, duh. Do people even realise how much extra work he needs to put in daily and how specific his voice needs to be to have that position he so outrageously doesn’t deserve? I feel genuinely sad for people who fail to see a difference between having a personal preference for someone’s voice and an insanely complex mix of very, very specific attributes you need to own to get that incredibly demanding spot as a top vocalist so that the whole group benefits. It almost looks like people are so simple minded they really believe the main vocalist in a group is just a title that doesnt come with ton of responsibilities. Its mind boggling really how blinded some Army can be to ignore the very obvious. MONQ and many others have a tender spot for high notes and high pitched voices, therefore it is to be expected he will gravitate towards Jimin’s unique voice. To watch a sit down mellow performance in a studio and a tough 3-hour long exhausting concert are two entirely different things. Jungkook is pretty much bullet proof during their lives, he can ad lib freely like nobody’s business, he can sing acapella totally unprepared on the spot and slays, time after time. Thats what a deserving main vocalist should be like in my books.

I really don’t think you will like the BU. You are not a dedicated fan to go through so many videos that are not in a lineal order. It is not the story of BTS but a fictional story that Bighit made up. It is a roller coaster of emotions and situations that chop and change all the time. There are about 30 + videos, 2 books of notes , a webtoon and many explanations to get through, let alone the books the videos are based on. If you did a reaction every second day it would take you months to get through. You would have to remember random facts and scenes from each video and try to place them over time and through different time lines. That is why l say you probably won’t like it. I am not trying to be rude to you but from what you said in this video about liking other groups much more than BTS, l feel you would not be willing to give it the time and attention it requires .
