Another video of this shows him talking about how when he landed the final attempt & rode away, he was going the fastest speed he had ever gone on a skateboard, and because of that, he sort of blacked out, and wasn’t sure if he rolled away long enough for it to count, until he looked at everyone.. once he saw that they were super hyped. Then he knew he landed it. Amazing.

He went from solely focusing on the rail for so long, that when he landed it going that fast straight at a wall his brain had to make an incredible amount of calculation to compensate and react. People blacking out is very common for guys doing big rails, sets of stairs, or anything of this nature
