Fun fact: during the dance break that's the beat Suga created back in 2013, sampled from "Man From No where " OST. There is a Bangtan Bomb episode of him making it and showing ARMY the basic features on the beat machine he used.💜

i just went to the Coldplay concert and during my universe they put bts on the screen (when it was their parts) it was actually so sweet and considerate (and my screaming got considerably louder, omg i miss them so much) some ARMYs even held up a "ARMYs LOVE COLDPLAY" sign chris from Coldplay literally said "we love you ARMY" afterwards IT WAS SO SWEET MY HEART EXPLODED i absolutely love your reactions i never actually looked through the lyrics/meanings until yall came along, it's amazing to understand what I'm listening to, it just makes it 100x better and it's always nice to learn with company you should also checkout "my universe" if you haven't already :) it's 4:27am i shall sleep now, love you guys!!! borahae army 💜

This song & album was meant to be the last one before their world tour and then enlisting; but then covid happened. That's why there's a huge grandness and grit to this song & in its message. There really is no BTS song like it. I hope you can check out some of ON's live performances too like the one done in Central Station in New York and the one in MAMA 2020. The dance practices are also so cool! They put in sooo much hard work at the time and they were so excited to finally perform it in front of ARMY in 2021. :')

I became Army in 2020 because of this song. I was going through a tough time during Covid. The world shutdown. I was doing my Master’s degree online, my children were in school online and I was also teaching online. I was also going through a lot mentally and spiritually. My husband was the only one going out to work every day. I just felt alone. While preparing lunch for my children. My second daughter, Glory was playing “ON” from her laptop and the words gripped me and fit my situation. BTS spoke to me. I inquired about the song and BTS. I later on viewed that MV. It led me down the rabbit hole. I have been a proud member of Army ever since. Thanks for this reaction. I loved this!!!

This song was suppose to be their final goodbye at the time when they were going through so much... then the pandemic hit and things changed. I guess the feeling of not being able to do what you love over rided any problems. RM talks about it. That is why is it so big and colossal and great!

Hi guys. It’s about d-n time y’all finally got to this. 😂😂. I first come to know of BTS in 2020, this song and black swan. I was watching the James Cordon carpool part when he had these 7 beautiful guys in his car. There was one guy sitting by the window in a blue shirt looking all of 17 and just a quiet doll. Well I liked the song but when this young bookish looking guy opened his mouth and effortlessly sang his part I pert near fell out my bed. JK blew my mind away. He did it so easily no stress, no sweat, just opened his mouth and these beautiful sounds just flowed. JK is my ultimate bias. Then JHope started his part rapping and Suga well I was totally hooked. There was that precious guy with the beautiful fluffy hair saying you got to go insane to stay sane , the one and only V. I never experienced such a thing before. I am ARMY for life. I have not listened to another group since, they all pale in comparison to BTS. And now with each of their solos, they have shown the ENTIRE world they are in deed a powerhouse, not to be dismissed or ignored. Each of their separate works showed why collectively they are the ABSOLUTE best, the G O A T. Thank you so much for reacting to them and showing such genuine respect and appreciation for them. HAHA. Y'all are in a state after this! I remember when this dropped and honestly.... same. This song without a doubt is top tier for me personally. It's so incredibly amazing. ON is everything that speaks to me... both of the videos, the vibe, the style, the performances, the voices, the choreo... so many things. This song dropped in the very early days of the pandemic, and was in my head a LOT in those months. It carried me through to the arrival of “Life Goes On” in November- that one hit hard and made me cry every time I watched the video.😭 We (Army) were given the English language song Dynamite, as a gift that August-(the best explanation I have heard was “They gave us the summer we should have had!”) Butter was another gift along the way, as we still could not see them live in concert here, and then we got the word that “We don’t need Permission to Dance”. No wonder Army stands beside them so passionately! They have been there supporting Global Army all along. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜

For choreo this song has the hardest one at that time. Jimin ult bias, Suga wrecker, OT7. They did a live in NYC for this one. Hope u check it out. Sienna Lalau from The Lab choreographed this she was 19yo at the time. She has a YT. Her crew won World of Dance season 2. They are great! I listen to techno, pop, R&B, soul, country, etc. They mix the sound and it sounds great. And yeah they all give us good vibes thus we love and support them. Have you heard Stay Alive it's a OST from their webtoon called 7 Fates Chakho. The song is by JK and produced by Suga. So it's a 1st time unit song between 2 members. It's awesome! Pls check it out. the entire album & its promotion was the peak of their craft at the point and the fact that covid took it away from us and what this album could've done (it definitely deserved a grammy, if it were nominated) like the MOTS7 tour... my god we and they were robbed so much. Just Black Swan honestly deserved a Grammy, an Oscar (for the masterpiece the art film version with the dance company was) and all the other awards for how inventive the promotions were with the Connect BTS concept and collaboration with artists (physical art) around the globe

First off, thank you for your reaction. I love watching your reactions. The detail that both of you go into is wonderful. You want to know so much. And you do your homework, not too many reactors do that. As ARMY since 2016, Borahae!!!!💜💜💜🫰🫰🫰🫰🫰 Now, since you love info, I have a few things you may find interesting. So at the time this was filmed, they also filmed two more videos, first was the actual, official video for "ON," filmed in the Angeles National forest. In a area where a lot of films and T.V. shows have been filmed. The other video was "Black Swan," also filmed in L.A. in the Los Angeles Theater. A historical landmark in L.A.. This video is considered a performance video. This one was released prior to the official video. It's why it has more views than the official video. Where it is filmed was also L.A. the L.A. wash/river as it is called. Over by the Sepulveda St. Bridge. Several movies were filmed there as well, like Grease, S.W.A.T. and that one with Justin Timberlake. The point is it's a very recognizable site. Hell, even Missy Elliot made one of her first videos there, same exact spot. The ppl in the video with them, they are a dance crew called the Lab. They were based out of Texas and now are based out of L.A.. Its a very large dance crew, where they have both a senior (anyone over 18) and a junior (anyone under 18) group. The junior group went on a show called World of Dance and won their year. The crew you see here are the senior group. And the young lady at the very beginning is the choreographer of the crew and this video. Her name is Sienna Lalau. As a matter of fact, The Lab was due to go on tour with BTS and well something called the pandemic happened, and all they did was the concerts in L.A. in November of 22 and in Las Vegas in April of 23. The band were stand ins for the actual band that played the song. Which BTW was the UCLA marching band with their jazz quartet and their choir. If you want, there is a short documentary/Bangtan Bomb showing the process of the band and jazz group recording their parts for the song. Oh one last thing, when they filmed these three videos, it was literally right before they shut down the world. They had came over here to film a couple of last night spots and a few other things. They wanted the videos to be filmed here and it was in February of 2020. And everything shut down around March 2020. So within weeks. I am very sorry for such a long post, but I know how you two are info and doing research about ours guys. I do hope this post helps you. I know it's a lot to take in. Hey Jared & Jordan: Overload right. Yes, you need to watch the actual MV. THE UCLA Marching band plays the instrumentation. JK wanted to perform this but everything stopped with the pandemic.
