I just started getting into BTS the last few days and I'm totally hooked. This one seems to me to be about their struggles and others trying to bring them down. Great song. They still have struggles due to the pandemic and being apart from each other more, and some emotional stresses within the group too, I believe. But, I saw a video that said they got through that and will keep going - probably at least another 2 years. We shall see. Thanks for the reaction and sorry I'm writing this months later.

I love this song so much i cosplayed as Jimin from this MV and did the Dope dance at a local comic con near me and i had fun. Also i love how Jimin and Jungkook bounced of eachother, with their voices. Jimin in this MV is why i love a man in uniform, i love Jimins voice and i also love his highnotes aswell but his character is the one i love, this is partly the reason Jimin is my ultimate kpop bias. This song is totally Dope (see what i did there lol)

Everything BTS said in this video from years ago was their reality. The only kpop group at the time (they are no longer kpop) singing about working harder than others just to achieve their dreams. They busted their ass, went through the hustle. Practicing 12 to 16 hours a day while attending school. They were doing concerts and Jungkook the youngest having to go to school the next day still amazes me. There is a reason they have achieved so much compared to other groups. The most focused, properly guided, and hardest working group.

My most favorite verse for Dope is from joon's verse which showcase how their words get through to the youth...at the same time they empower youth, they also let the grown ups know abt the struggles of the young generation..this goes on from 2 Kool 4 School through HYYH era. From Wings up to current era they basically tackles more topics which people across generations could relate to. This explains why army is so diverse not just by age but also profession/occupation. Their lyrics are already used as a subject discourse in universities, used in philosophy, psychology, and law discussions. Recently, we found out that BTS' song Baepsae (Silver Spoon) has been cited on Harvard Law Review under Geofence Warrant and the Fourth Amendment, F177. Btw, check out Baepsae concert stage live performance. It's badass. 😊
