18:22 RM has said that using different languages in his songs is like painters using different brushes, they create different textures and the decision to chose what should be in English or Korean (or Japanese, or even Chinese) comes naturally to him as he is making the song. And all I can think abt when I think abt this is his song Nuts and he divided the song in segments both musically and verbally RM’s INDIGO era holds a special place in my heart bc it was right when I became ARMY and RM became my bias. There is a behind the scenes for Still Life and Wild Flower. There is also the jacket shoot sketch for the album. And RM did a breakdown of the entire album titled album Magazine film. He also performed at Rolling Hall which is a very small venue, as in 400 ARMY only attended the performance, it is a venue for indie artists in South Korea and it was a long lost dream of RM to perform at that venue. And he also performed at the Dia Beacon museum in NY with no audience. And he gave multiple long format interviews for the album and Boracity has a great break down analysis video of the album. Oh and he also performed at Tiny Desk. Also, you are really on a good track on interpreting the song. RM said he was inspired to write this song from seeing flower paintings in museums like Van Gogh or Money. The flowers painted have died thousands of years ago, but they remain alive through the painting that was made of them, they are still (don’t move) but they are still (nonetheless) alive, they are immortalized by the painters. And like the flowers, RM’s life is constantly being immortalized in frames, such is the life of an idol, but you can’t lock him in a frame or box him in a canvas, he is continuously moving, changing, growing, LIVING, so he is still life but still alive.

Joon is seen on pages and covers of magazines. Photos of him are everywhere. So he is “Still Life” in photos. But unlike a flower in a renaissance painting that died centuries ago he is still alive. Still moving. So, basically you can’t lock him in a frame like his photo. He is moving forward. I think he hopes fans, friends, family and everyone don’t expect him to be stagnant and what they see at the moment.

I just love Namjoon's solo music so much and Indigo is sooo cool to hear it when you are older and you have lived plenty things (good or bad), still lufe for me was like "I'm growing and I'm changing, "the yesterday me is still me but as all things in life change is always evolution and is necessary to survive" and yas, life is soooo complicated but is into us how we life it... my Joonie, my favorite one in bts forever and ever, please, analize "Change pt 2" by him too and on Indigo Also I wanna add Nam is so under others "expectations", Nam said it multiple times that, yas, he is RM but he is also just a normal human like all of us, he make mistakes, he loves, he hates, he gets bored, he works so hard for his dreams came true, but also he wants to be free, he wants to live his life, not as we saw him on that "perfect canvas" he is not in just a moment, life continues... hahaha, anyways, I love your reactions ❤

Nuce interpretation. How I understood: He is "still life" as in people having fixed images of him in their mind. But he is STILL LIFE, you know as in he continues to move and change unlike the different pictures people have caged him in in their minds! He does not deny the different perceptions people have of him but he refuses to be trapped by them and continues to move and grow! That's my simple explanation!😊

There is no right or wrong interpretation of his song. Your interpretation makes sense. He also said he started writing this song after visiting a museum and seeing several paintings titled 'Still Life'.

Hey martin...i hope you get well soon...i just wanted to request a reaction whenever you feel ok doing it...the boys are going to comeback this year and their album "the most beautiful moment in life" is going to be 10 years old now... it's an album that contains fictional storyline which is know as BANGTAN UNIVERSE - BU...why don't you react to the celeste video of the summary of BU updated version....the story is soooo good they even made a kdrama out of it. RM in suchwita said that they will do something to celebrate the 10 anniversary of the album since they won their 1st award through I NEED YOU which is in this album.
