Jimin and RM had a very deep relationship. You don't often hear about it because the majority of it happens off camera. Jimin and RM have really thoughtful, philosophical discussions late at night. RM shares his worries and fears with Jimin because he knows Jimin will always understand and listen and help him in any way he can. Likewise, Jimin enjoys having deep emotional talks with RM and seeing something from his point of view. Jimin also always reminds all the members and Army of how much work RM has done so that he receives the praises he deserves.

For me, part of the beauty (pun intended) of Jimin is that he can keep up intellectually with Namjoon, both philosophically and emotionally. There were a couple moments where Jimin had that “knowing” look on his face. He knew exactly what he was doing and saying and he knew for certain he was drawing Namjoon out to a safe place for him to get some of his thoughts and feelings out… and he did it quickly. The amount of care and trust they have for each other is on another level. Thanks for another great analysis. 👏🏻🙌🏻💜

RM once said that although the fans believe Yoongi to be the grandpa of the group, in terms of maturity, Jimin's the one he'd describe as the grandpa of the group (as in, he's the most mature). He also said that he always goes to Jimin for comfort, just like most of the other members. The incredible thing about Jimin - among many other things - is his empathy. He's very observant and compassionate and he uses those traits to make other people feel seen, heard and loved. He's also almost too humble, always shining the light on others while sometimes failing to recognise his own talent and hard work, too. These two are some of the most emotionally intelligent, mature and insightful people I've ever seen and it's reflected in their bond and the way they treat each other, which is why I love their friendship so much. They have great understanding and appreciation for one another and I feel like Namjoon has a huge soft spot for Jimin as well.

RM said a long time ago that out of all the members, Jimin is the most adult one. I think outside of his playfulness, being funny, & being the third youngest, I think it’s things like this. I mean, other than his crazy hardworking self, being professional how seriously he takes his work in performance. RM also said Jimin is probably most similar to himself in that they both go hard on themselves and kind of beat themselves up. One more thing, RM once said talking with Jimin (one on one) has a healing effect.

Namjoon has an unbelievable emotional awareness, but Jimin is the best at ...working with emotions of other people. he is the biggest empath of the group, the one to listen to their worries, the one to dry their tears. when boys were asked who they go to to get comfort, almost all of them pointed at Jimin. he just understands, but what's even more valuable - he feels for you, he shares it with you. with jimin sadness gets cut in half and happiness doubles. I for example can't do it, i can't manipulate my own emotions so easily to give what other person needs, thus I'm so fascinated by jimin. he is the shinning star everyone gravitates to, you can't not pay attention to him, but he will turn that attention back, he is selfless and kind. as namjoon himself said, "I could spend all day talking about this guy. He's very likable. I think it's his biggest asset. So many people like Jimin. He's such a selfless guy by nature. He's always putting others before him. And even on stage, he has the ability to captivate people. He has an axis that the stage revolves around"

Honestly Jimin is one of those people who can blend in with anyone. He changes his interaction with all the members according to their personality. He’s the type of person who would rather change himself than expect someone to change for him and think about others before himself. There are not many people like him out there. I would say his EQ is probably very high. He understands and shares people’s emotions which is probably why most of the members say they go to him for comfort. I feel like he’s very aware of himself and conscious of how he look and act. Also I believe he knows so much more than he actually shows.

Maybe not really change himself but more like change how to communicate with someone to make them comfortable with him. How he talks to someone is different depending on the person he's talking to. But yes to all the rest of what you said. He never lectures on what other people should do, he shares what he will do in situations the other person might be in or his own experiences if he already been through something like it. Jimin is so multi-facated it's so fascinating. It's to the point some fans lean to a certain side of him and basically build a whole fandom about it. There are fans of his caring, thoughtful side. There are fans who lean more to his sassy, self-confident side. Others like his cuteness and goofiness better. Don't get me started on the ones who love his sexy, charming persona. Then you see the side he rarely shows on camera, his more mature and let's-talk-about-life side. I remember when Jesi, another Korean artist who is known for being frank and sassy, ended up whipped for Jimin because according to her, she spent 40mins talking to Jimin about life in the middle of jhope's album listening party😭 Jimin definitely knows more than he actually shows🥹

@@BeLovelyOK so you're very empathetic too. I try to do it too but I can't make everyone feel comfortable with me so i admire people who do. I know what you mean, that we should love Jimin as a whole and i bet a lot of people does. One of the reasons why Jimin does something and it's trending within minutes, we don't even plan it. Like, multiple keywords not less than three when he updates or we receive news about him. And not everyone is even on Twitter at the same time or all the time, so his influence is really insane. It's just some people lean towards particular personality of Jimin, ig. like how extreme people are about being his soft stan or hard stan, lmao

RM and Jimin are actually very close they hang out a lot. RM said before that Jimin is the one who understands him the most. I think they just get each other. Also there's something about them that makes me feel so peaceful 💜💜💜💜

What you don't realize is Jimin has a high IQ as well, Jimin says it's 128, but I believe it's even higher than that. If you look up Jimin's academic prowess, your jaw would drop......he accomplished many extraordinary high level achievements even before he came to Bighit at the age of just 17 years old. The amazing thing about Jimin is that he does, absolutely genuinely, want everyone else to shine as brightly as they can, he never feels overshadowed or dimmed by another. So he will always look for the best in others and shine a light on it, every chance he gets. And he doesn’t have to look far with Joon. Namjoon is such an outstanding example of talent, decency, and hard work, it is really easy for Jimin to show that to us. He knows Joon so well, they have a really close friendship, so he understands how to approach this, so that Namjoon is comfortable sharing his thoughts and feelings, he feels safe and appreciated, in a very sincere way. Jimin is not one of those people who listen, just to get the chance to speak. He really listens, and formulates his responses to give the other person what they need to receive. Namjoon is of course a very articulate speaker, the man is gifted, but he can become a little awkward when speaking about himself, especially if his feelings are involved or if talking about his accomplishments. But with Jimin, he knows that he will be cared for and understood, so it’s ok to open up… Thank you for this ☺️💜💜

Jimin and RM deep talking isn't something rare, he mentioned so many times in Vlives and bon voyage and Festas that he sometimes just sit and talk with him for like an hour or two ,and Jimin is actually smart as well he used to get full marks in math and science and he used to help his teacher explain to the students who didn't understand (some of his class mates said he used to solve some problems in math in his own method) he were the president (and sometimes vice)for 9 years in school so from that you can tell he also has a sense of responsibility and knowledge which makes him close to RM and more capable of having such important and deep conversation with him

RM helped the maknae line in writing their early songs (I don't know if he had ever helped Jin). He helped Jimin with "Promise", JK with "Begin", and Tae with "4 o'clock", helping them express their personal experiences into lyrics. So not only is RM a master lyricist, he's also generous with his time. I think that's a part of the reason why they have so much respect for him. As the maknae line grew as songwriters, they began to work on songs on their own or collaborate with other people.

I love this duo! MiniMoni have a very easy relationship dynamic from what I've observed over the years. I feel like they "get" each other even though they're very different in how they express themselves (Jimin being more emotional vs Joon being more thoughtful). I would say they balance each other out well because they're both good at reassuring and comforting each other. You can tell they have a deep respect for each other and they have a way of opening each other up and being vulnerable. Also, Jimin is very affectionate physically whereas Joonie, not so much but I feel like Jimin has even made Joon more comfortable with physical contact to a certain extent. I could talk about these two all day but I loved how you picked up on Jimin being a great listener and an empath. He's such a supportive friend and you can tell by how comfortable and freely Joon is talking here. Love your observations as always 💜

These 2 have a really close and great relationship. RM said he has so much respect for jimin and can talk to him and says jimin is highly intelligent if you ask jimin a question he knows the answer, When an interviewer asked RM about jimin he replied , dont ask me about this guy I could go on all day about him.He and jimin were in the car and on the way to the awards when RM said something about all the celebrities they were going to be around and jimin turned to RM and said we are not celebrities, you are Kim namjoon and I am park jimin and RM immediately got a big grin and said I know that too well but you could just see the tenseness come out of RM as he smiled, he was just more relaxed.. Yes, they are much closer than most people know. Jimin takes good care of RM. On stage, he always sees that RM have a cloth. Their nonverbal communication is constant on stage, in interviews and whenever the group are together.

jimin is my bias, I was lucky enough to go to permission to dance concert and while others were focused on v when the carts came around ...i personally got jimin right in my face looking into my soul...i was recording of course too at the time . he gave the biggest smile right at me as I had all the members on myr bangtan bulletproof shirt from the first concert ever and i decorated with all the members but on my face mask I had almost all of jimin, and he was looking at my mask I think...either way I made eye contact, best moment of my life.

Jimin gives you the validation and security as an interlocutor. Jimin & RM are very close like the real blood brothers & it usually shows through their off camera relationships. Since RM said many times that Jimin is the one who knows & understands him the best & Jimin is the member who is similar to him the most, I wasn’t surprised when they have moved to the same luxury apartment complex & become a neighbor last year.(RM has purchased apartment first & moved in & a month later, Jimin has also bought & moved in, became RM’s neighbor.) RM often mentioned how they spend times together like they go out for bike ride, eating out together, visiting parks or museum or galleries. He also said Jimin is the very few first people who would listen to his new songs that he is working on & give feedback & Jimin would do the same with him. I think they have great mutual respect & really understand each other philosophically, intellectually, emotionally & many more. As you can see, Jimin do admire his RM hyung, his thoughts & mind so much & he do complements & show his appreciation to his RM hyung a lot. For RM, Jimin is the one who do listens, pay attentions to him the most & understand his mind & thoughts, the one who he could really talk to, share his thoughts & emotions, be the great soundboard to him, always a great supporter who praises & encourage him the most, gives honest opinions with gentle considerations & respect & an adorable little brother who often bring out his playful side to have some fun, relaxed & reminds him to enjoying those happy moments & not worry too much all the time. Jimin understands feelings and emotions in people, animals, music, animated and unanimated beings and things, and knows how to convey them again, in words too, but mostly in the way he uses his voice and his body. That's why his singing and his dancing are unique.

This is an amazing interview. I love to see BTS members all in one setting but also 1 on 1 to see different sides of them. Oh what not to respect about RM, our leader, but he is too smart that he sometimes talks non stop as million things are going on in his head. Max, I appreciate your insightful commentary, and the way you really care about people. There are so many great viewer comments, too. I thought, "They've said so much good stuff! Is there anything left to add?" Then I realized, I noticed Namjoon sitting cross-legged, and that's not too common in interviews! I went back to see, and sure enough, they are sitting on the edge of a bed. Sitting side-by-side on a sofa is comfortable, but sitting on a bed is more relaxed, like going to your sibling's room to talk and share ideas about your day and hear what they think. Jimin started off seated and facing parallel to Namjoon, but eventually swiveled 90 degrees to face him. Later as he enjoys their conversation Jimin is rocking side to side subtly and I imagine his feet dangling, not quite touching the floor. They both had a good time talking together.

ALSO the fact that Namjoon is Jimin's leader too makes it a double whammy. If you've seen in some other groups that's enough to have a connection rift when it comes to socialising. RM once said that he believes Jimin is the most mature member of the group, and he feels JM is sometimes older than him. This is probably due to all the leadership roles that Jimin played throughout his life.

Jimin's role in BTS is to be cute, flirty, and sassy, but when the cameras are turned off I believe that Jimin is more quiet and reserved and a deep thinker just like the Jimin that we saw in the "BE" interviews, I feel that he is very mature, practical and a nurturer which is what Namjoon loves about him.

I like watching and seeing their interpretations of the songs they have created and catch glimpses of how their thoughts process works and of course get to know more of their personalities. So BE-hind interviews of each members is very interesting for me. We rarely got this content from western interviews. Jimin is good at public speaking too but due to language restrictions you only able to see that side of him in Korean interview session. Joon mentioned he often talked with Jimin until late night since he is the one Joon relate the most. Which is understandable looking at this interaction. I strongly believe each of Bangtan members compliment each other’s and help to aspire one another. Thank you for the video, Max. Take care.

JM has not only high IQ but also high EQ. JM is very attentive very aware. Jimin can match well with anyone If comfort was a person it be Jimin JM will always be complimenting he always does he boosts them up. JM is the best listener he will always understand you. I love JM he is the best has the best personality. This is to show how close these guys are and how much they respect each other on both a personal and a professional level. RM, Suga and J-hope are the main ones who are actively involved in the writing and production of their songs and the others are getting involved in those so they always want to know how the main guys are able to do it. I love the BEhind series of interviews because you really get an inside of how they do things, how their mind works and how hard they all work

Jimin is such a great person & believe me I'm not exaggerating or being biased, but Jimin truly has this angelic nature for him, every person who met him in real life & talked with him tells, how selfless & humble he is. I think every BTS member had told how caring & selfless Jimin is in many different situations, rm once said Jimin is a kind of a person who put others above his needs.

They all have a deep bond with each other. RM really opened himself in this video. My impression of RM is he is a deep person. In his personal life, he visits arts gallery, walks on the beach, etc. Jimin is assertive and says what he wants to say.

I have always been fascinated by their relationship and the bond between them. They make up my favorite duo for this reason. It's like they "get" each other very well, and they are always great at comforting each other, from what we see on camera. I wish to have a close friendship like them, with someone I can have deep talks with and who will understand how I'm feeling. They complete each other in a sense, though they are so different in many aspects!
