Tear kills me every time. I still don't know how they can get on stage and perform that song without breaking down. To share all that vulnerability with us was something that I truly think made them and ARMY closer than ever. To throw all their feelings out there and for us to know how deeply they were contemplating splitting up....But they didn't, and they are stronger than ever. To really see how much being with each other means to them. Every time I listen to it, I see new nuances and meanings. The story goes that when Suga played this for all the members they all just sat and cried. What a way to end the album.

“So what” is one of my all time favs….especially LIVE. “Outro:TEAR” ALWAYS makes me cry my eyes out..especially after watching Break The Silence and watching them talk about the disbanding discussions. Outro: Tear gets me every time. I know others have explained the reason for the song, but you can still feel the pain of that time in their lives when they perform it. I think we sometimes forget what an amazing performer and rapper RM is. We focus on him being the leader and his beautiful lyrics, which he's great at. But he's also astounding on stage.

Outro Tear is My all time fav rap bts song. I've listened to this I dont know how many times. Yes suga wrote this for the members when they thought they were disbanding and they all cried. After Suga presented it RM helped with some of the lyrics but it was mostly sugas song. His feelings. Suga is my bias but Yes RM is so awesome. JHope at the end always has me teary eyed. The whole song. Everyone says that JHope part is the best and it is so good but sugas parts is what gets to me tho. First things first: BTS make music for us, as fans, as Armys, to give a piece of themselves to us, to help us through our biggest worries and fears. To give hope. It is their concern to help us get through the day. This song, Outro:Tear, is all about themself ! Suga wrote Tear during one of their darkest hours. When they were thinking about disbanding! This whole song is riddled with emotions. The performance reflects their fear, their anger. Hobi doesn't do a small dance move, Hobi lets his emotions run free. I was lucky enough to see this performance live, 5 times. 5 times it broke me as a fan to see them like that. Watch the video again.. as a part of the BTS family.. with the thought in mind that it was almost the end of BTS. ~this is the real you this is the real me, now we've seen the end and not even resentment is left~ ~We walked towards the same place, but this place becomes our last~ ~Although we used to talk about forever, now we break each other without mercy~ ~In the moment, everything was dangerous, our end came in two characters~

Oh Pat, So What is absolutely the BEST. If that doesn't get you moving I don't know what will. Even though you are sitting in the chair to react you can get those hips moving, and the shouders and the arms etc. There are a lot of videos of So What in live performances and they are all worth watching. I am loving your reactions to BTS. What Suga said about crying in Tear must be close to his heart, but now aug 2023 he has just completed his tour and on the last day tje floodgates opened and and all those backed up repressed tears spilled out, and Suga couldn't stop them. I think all over the world people who watched that performance were crying their eyes out with him.

OMG....I thought for some reason that I wouldn't cry this time .. WRONG....... Our sweet Soul man wrote this song, and RM and Jhope added to it for their parts.....Suga was so torn apart when they talked about disbanment. It tore his heart out to even think about.😢 All of them!!! But, you know , I think that experience gave them a new hype, or engery to show that they could make it!! Cause their music after that was just epic, more than usual. Your soo right, life sucks.....embrace it and move on. This Christmas will be 5 yrs that my husband of 39 yrs passed. I was in hospital and had to have 3 brain surgeries, they had said before went in only One, was suppose to be 4 days, ended up 15 days and 3 surgeries. My husband went downhill while I was away, his cancer blew up!! Long story short, 6 days after I got out of the hospital he passed. So yeah, life sucks my dear, and it can always get worse. So whatever comes your way, take it and just keep moving on. 😢❤💜💜💜

23:55 yeah that’s so true. Beeing able to cry and let the pain out and process is a luxury for so many people. Sometimes you cannot let your loved ones know. Sometimes you have to stay strong and can not allow yourself to crumble. As a parent for example. And at the same time it’s so necessary, so essential. To me, out of the Love Yourself trilogy, this is the best album, all though they are all incredible. So what is literally a party anthem song….it’s a banger. Tear, now that’s another story. While watching you react to this song, I thought, oh Pat if you only knew what this song truly meant you would be an emotional mess like the rest of us. When we found out the true meaning, it’s ripped our hearts out. Suga is a lyrical genius and to write his heartbreak down and share it with the others knowing they all cried….it makes my heart bleed every time I hear it. I’m so damn thankful that they overcame the burnout and emotional struggles to stay together. I couldn’t even begin to imagine not having them together…never want to. 2025-2026 is going to be an amazing reunion time for BTS and Army.

At the beginning of 2018 the guys were considering disbanding as there were struggles that is when Suga wrote Tear. It's a raw but real song on how they were feeling at the time and when the guys heard it they all cried. At the 2018 MAMA awards Jin does speak on it when they get the main Daesang award and that was very emotional too. You should check out the Cypher's aimed at the haters and some who said they turned their back on being real rappers by becoming idols. The cypher's are awesome the guys talk their s**t and very well.

So What is the ultimate live hype song it’s when some of the biggest Tom foolery takes place on stage including the infamous Swoozoo 2020 live concert where Tae got JK with a bottle of water and JK chased him full speed running around the stage like giggling lunatics neither missed a line either. The amount of water fights in stage during this. Perfect live song. Outro Tear helped them decide to stay together (just part of that long discussion they had). But damn does Suga write raw emotional hitting music. Their BSides have always slapped it’s a real problem because too many good songs! 😂. Outro Tear depicts the conversation between the members when they contemplated breaking up early 2018. They have since discussed the reasons including the pressure of promoting Fake Love and the 24/7 never ending work schedule that almost broke them up. SUGA wrote the lyrics. If you haven’t already - I recommend reacting to MAMA 2018 followed by their legendary AOTY acceptance speech to see and understand how the members were feeling during this significant turning point for BTS. The next chapter of the LY trilogy is LY Answer with the song Epiphany as the realization of the album trilogy 💜

as far as i know the album and the song with tear in the title are said in both ways as in tear (cry) and tear (rip). Oh, Love yourself tear was their first to top the Billboard 200, so it's not surpriseing that every song is a banger. & to give you some back story, if you didn't already know it, Outro: Tear was written by the rapline when BTS had discussions about disbanding in 2017 becuase of how hard things had gotten so RM, Suga, and J-hope got together and poured out their hearts, wrote everything down turned it into a song over time then showed the demo version to the vocal line. The 7 cried and talked after hearing the song and decided to keep going, and I know i'm not the only one who is grateful that they did. to answer your last question the order of the love yourself trilogy is: HER, TEAR, & ANSWER

So What is one on my favorite hype songs from them, so good! Outro:Tear is hands down my favorite rap line song. RM uses tear and in the tears you shed going through the realization that it's time to say goodbye to someone. Suga talks about tear as in tearing his heart apart and how he rather you burn it to get it over with because the sense of feelings lingering is too painful. Hobi talks about fear. I take it as the fear of moving on. It's so sad, especially knowing the circumstances Suga wrote it under.
