BTS Soundcheck: Sharing My Experience & Some Tips!

Yo! I received a lot of questions regarding my Soundcheck Day 1 Experience at Chicago Soldier Field and wanted to share everything that I went though! Hope this video helps you! Let me know if I didn't clarify some information. Also, I'm not 100% sure if they will follow the same organization in other cities/stadiums. BTS ARMY Fighting!

My Top Tips: 1. Arrive early! 2. Bring a blanket/food/extra battery charger/poncho in case it rains in your area 3. Arrive prepared like your going to the concert with your transparent bag (Just to be safe) 4. Even if you arrive late to VIP check in, there's a chance you will get a good seat! 5. Talk to your line mates :) 6. After you receive your wristband, if you have time before security check in, go refresh yourself! 7. Have FUN!

This is my question...are soundcheck and barricade tickets seperate? I heard when you get soundcheck the seat you buy on Ticketmaster is your seat in soundcheck but you have to buy barricade ticket separately.... I’m just trying to get tickets this year by the center platform but I noticed that soundcheck...all the seats are by the catwalk

I used my ID, as for minors this was in the email. “If you are 12 yrs. old or younger you must be accompanied by an adult with a ticket to the show. If you are 13-15 yrs. old an adult must sign you in. If you are 16 yrs. old or over you may sign in yourself with your photo ID matching your ticket order.”

Thank you so much for the tips! I’m thinking MOTS tour will be different because there are gold soundcheck ticketholders & silver and gold will be in front of silver no matter how early silver is in line. I think the key is not to stress and just enjoy every second of how fortunate we are to be in Soundcheck at all. 💜 Hopefully the weather is better In Chi town this year! Question: do they allow you to bring signs into soundcheck, if so, what is the size limit?

Soundcheck came with my ticket since I had floor seats that were close to the stage. I got it automatically when I bought tickets on the dot when they went on sale. I got very lucky.

You can use the same card but just make sure you don’t have the information to either accounts. If you save the info it’ll think you’re a bot, but if you manually put it in while you buy the tickets then it’ll be fine

Hello! Thanks for your tips which will be very useful for me ( I'll do the soundcheck for the Paris concert). I have a question. It can seem weird but are the seats in the pit attached to the floor or are they just laid on such as plastic chairs? I'm really worried about that since I fear for my safety (and others!) if the chairs can be moved easily. I'll really appreciate if you can answer me. Thanks!^^

hi! when you get the souncheck package, you get the same seat for the actual concert right? also, if you pick mobile for the soundcheck package for the actual concert, do you still get it on your phone or the security will still give you the physical tickets? im sorry, this could be confusing.

Certain seats around the stage, mostly all the front center, front sides will automatically have soundcheck. Well this was the case for soldier field. When you choose your seat, it will say some wording that I don’t recall regarding the Soundcheck lingo.

Hi! So I got the silver package for the MOTS 7 tour in Dallas! I had a question. So my friend and I are planning on getting super early to the venue, so that we can get a good spot in line for soundcheck. However, how would we do it if we want to get merch as well but are in the soundcheck line? Do army that have soundcheck get "special" access to the merch booth before people that are waiting in line outside the venue for merch? or should my friend and I just have a family member stand in line for us at the merch line in the morning while we wait in the soundcheck line? I don’t think the payment method matters as long as you use your own account so that the ticket has your name on it. They are going to just check your ID against the ticket you bought. The only time you need a different person is if they bought the ticket under their own account and has their name on it but it’s intended for you. Shouldn’t be a problem if it’s a friend who’s going with you anyways

hi! you have to show an id of the person who bought the ticket. in your case, you should bring a picture of your mom’s id.

I have a few questions and I would really appreciate someone to try and explain this to me, cause this will be my first bts concert and im stressed out 🤣😭 for the 2020 MOTS world tour they have the army membership presale, the general presale, and then just general admission sales, and i registered for the army membership one, would I need to buy the tickets on my debit card or would I be able to use my moms?,, and I will be using a Ticketmaster account with my moms name on it too so would that affect my army membershipwith my name? cause its two different names. also what type of id would I bring cause im only 14

I am not so sure, but you should try to log in with the same email you put into weply. I dont know if there is a difference once you get the pre-sale code, but to be in the save line..

you may need to call at some point to have the names switched to yours, so when you pick up your ticket you won’t have any problems. it won’t affect you membership because you used your membership number. but for the sake of getting your ticket if she isn’t going with you then you will need to get the names switched. check out ticketmaster they give details on all of that

No, it's only your seat for the sound check. When your purchase tickets, you buy a seat and that's your seat for the actual concert. So you don't have to go in super early for the actual concert, since your seat is already reserved for you.

igotjamsandtheyrekimchiflavour the actual ticket for Soundcheck is your wristband and lanyard that they give you when your in the vip nation line and they also give you your actual concert tickets there too. Which looks like a regular Ticketmaster ticket. When I purchased my tickets online via TM, it said to pick up at willcall which was basically the email they send you three days before show for Soundcheck. Does that make sense?

So you lined up 9:30, got to VIP tent 12:45ish. Does the line start moving at 11:30? Is that what the “check-in” means? They start checking in and giving people their tickets at 11:30?

WonderfulsVIP I forgot what the time was since this was almost a year ago, but they started checking in editor at the vip tent to give you your Soundcheckbadge around 10am I think. But since the line was so long I didn’t feel the line moving until 11ish. I forgot honestly. I’m sorry, but yes I got my badge after waiting for 3-4 hours from the line.

don't take your school id because it doesn't show proof that you bought the ticket so take a picture of the id if you don't have it with you :)

You can pick your seat if you buy a seat. General Seating or GA is where you don’t pick a seat.

Idk if this rule is still around but If you are attending a BTS concert and you’re under 15 or 16 you need a parent or a guardian someone older than 18 incase you get hurt or something butI could be mistaken

Ayla Rock I believe they parking will be open. In the email they sent us, they said parking is $55 and you can pre-purchase the parking pass online. Check your venues website, maybe there’s something on there too. Hope this helps!

NJ parking is $40, and i thought we had it had it bad. and yea they gave us a time that the parking lot opens (9:30am) but i feel like they are just saying that so ppl dont come too early. cause it also said the parking lot opens 5 hours earlier than the event (which would be 2:30pm) so its just a conflict of information. I guess ill just call.

Maribel Zeisik I don’t think they would let you and your 15 year old friend in. but if you find someone 18 they’ll let you in cause if you’re under 16 you have to be with 18+. But they probably changed it.

Ariyanna If you’re 13-15 you just need a parent to come sign you in and then they can leave, but if you’re 12 and under a parent has to accompany you!

oh_hey_that_ BTS_fan last year for two tickets with soundcheck, it was $736.16. So around 370 for each ticket. It may change this year :/

I have one question so I will buy the tickets with my moms credit card but I don’t think she will be there so do I have to bring her ID to show she was the one who brought the tickets with her credit card? Or do I just bring my photo ID? The ticket will have my name and info on it do I just need to bring my photo ID to show proof those are my tickets? Sorry if this was confusing

Mika Cosplay i’m pretty sure that’s only for vip packages (w/ soundcheck) or when you pick up tickets at will call!! but i’ve seen a lot of people say that you must bring a photo ID (idk if it can be a copy) of the person whose card was used to buy the tickets!!

Mika Cosplay i’m not entirely sure if it’s necessary to pick them up there but from what i’ve seen everyone that gets soundcheck seem to get them there. i think they give you an envelope with your tickets, a laminate and a lanyard. i’ll try to do more research on that and if i find anything i’ll come back and let you know:) i hope you get soundcheck!!!💜
