It broke my heart... This is all I can say. What a sad day today became for all of us watching this tragedy...! A bit of conversation also we had on twitch which I couldn't share cause it was not appropriate for youtube community and to some extend it was impossible. Wish you were all on twitch today and we could share our feelings toward this sad MV.
Our heart I'm sure will always be with those children as we continue knowing BTS and getting involve with their culture. It's inevitable to stay aside and just watch them suffer, as jungkook one said I had no difficulty but when I see the ones that I love had problems it makes me sad.

I just became ARMY when this incident happened. BTS wrote two songs in protest. 1. Spring Day (To comfort) 2. Am I wrong (To criticize Govt.). At that time Govt. was blacklisting artists who dared to speak up. One of those names were the director of Snowpiercer (referenced in the Spring Day lyrics) and Parasite. At that time BTS were not as big, rich and influential as they're now. They were the only group under a small company BigHit. But they visited the grieving families in person and donated money. And in Am I Wrong, they directly quoted the former President who called people "cats and dogs" (Suga's verse) and performed in National Television. That's how much guts and courage these boys have. Before BTS could be blacklisted, President Park got impeached so they got spared by a hair inch. The blacklist was 80 pages long. However, the grieving families still remember BTS. That's why Spring Day never left the Melon chart since release. It's one of the most beloved song in South Korea. In 2020 when COVID 19 locked us indoor, 100 students in South Korea sang Spring Day! This song live in ARMY's heart - specially those like me who saw everything happening. There is a documentary on youtube about the Sewol disaster You really should watch it. It is heart breaking. How bad it was handled, not even trying to save the students, just doing nothing but thinking about themselves both the goverment and the crew.

I was so scared when they performed this music in music show..(korea) bc we knew the meaning of it. The government could sabotage them by blacklist which is used for media play, creating rumors and so on.. As Korean I was very angry about the accidents but also very worried about the ppl who bravely talked about these issues.

BTS never really confirms that the song is about the Sewol Ferry Tragedy, and we totally understand their reason why. It's a very sensitive topic back then and this song was a controversial and was a very brave BTS song. Jin however confirmed that the song is about an event but has not disclosed what specific event was it and RM mentioned that the MV is about the tragedy. This song is a beautiful tribute that can be passed on from generations to generations. It's a beautiful masterpiece. Hats off to BTS genuis and brilliant minds. So much love and respect to BTS for coming up with this song. The queen of all BTS songs. 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 This is the reason why I love, respect and stan BTS more. the most terrifying time is when you must rely on a stranger to rescue you, lacking any power to rescue yourself. this brings me to the memory of those moments. Italian army's explanation kills me every time. I'm not sure if I will make it through both the explanations again so I'm commenting early.

Thank you. Because you have taken the time to watch (2) explanations, I have subscribed! IMHO, it is the genius songwriting of BTS that sets them apart from all other groups and often reactors can benefit by watching explanation videos as needed. Unfortunately, you know, justice was never served over this incident. Although President Park was impeached, tried, convicted, and sentenced to 22 years in prison, she was released after only 4 years. The President who released her was her successor, President Moon. Ironically, it was the same President Moon who also gave Korean Cultural Merit awards and Presidential Passports to the members of BTS. Personally, I wish they had refused to take them from this awful man (President) who released Park early. I have never heard BTS response to this even though they accepted the award from Moon. I think that as they have grown older, BTS is beginning to see even more how politics can play a very detrimental role in their lives/careers as they have been treated pretty badly by the members of the current Korean politicians/administration. @@Cyrusyami one reason why I stayed and Stan BTS, is because they are rebellious xD Like they are not afraid to voice out the wrong doings of society, the older generation, the government, spoiled kids, haters, etc. But also soothes the listeners at the same time. Although they themselves knew they will recieve backlash since they would even criticize the government But they couldn't care less, cause just like what Suga had said 'The purpose is more important than the Goals' Isn't their purpose as an artist is to make music to heal? That's exactly what they are doing Just like the MV Spring Day, pretty risky Most K-pop groups don't even wanna talk about the tragedy cause they are afraid to be Blacklisted by the government (but that's quite understandable) Anyways, at first I wasn't interested in BTS or any KPOP in general But when I encounter this MV of BTS called 'Spine Breaker' I was immediately intrigued cause the MV was super low budget cause I'm pretty sure they themselves filmed it 🤣🤣👌 But it was super fun to watch cause you can tell they were just fooling around However what got me the most is the lyrics behind the song Cause I also watched the explanation vid, cause there were no subtitles in the MV That's when I realized that they actually create such meaningful songs So I went straight to the rabbit hole and kept looking for more songs like this and so far I discovered Silver Spoon, Am I wrong, No, No more dream, dis-ease, Strange, Spring Day, Ugh!, Etc.

This reminded me of a tragedy here in Morocco, not as grandiose as what happened in iran or korea, but same theme of corruption and false news. Rayan incident (a little boy) whom fell into a well in the countryside, the well was dug illegally by his father and no one cared whatsoever until social media exploded to get someone to move, the little boy stayed in the well which was 60 miter deep and few centimetres wide for 4 days and the rescue team appeared late only taking out his dead body in a view that made the whole country cry at how an accident which was supposed to be small and easy to handle to go wrong, and it repeated itself mant times in Morocco. Definitely not grandiose but feelings are mutual especially in 2022 where we should be better with handling things like this.
