it is his blood alcohol level being 0.227% and the fact that he drove to get to his gate, he is seen on cctv. He 100% did a DUI and that is very dangerous. His license being revoked and paying a fine is the correct punishment but the media and haters are demanding him do the 3-5 years in jail, which is a punishment for his BAC level. It is still being investigated and we will have to see. I personally see this as what we call, " A witch hunt."

Once Suga’s MS is over he and the rest of BTS need to leave Korea. It’s clear to me there are forces in Korea that want stop bullying them until one of them unalive themselves. As an I-ARMY, I was wondering why Suga's DUI was being made such a big deal and also why people are up in arms about Bang PD getting spotted talking to those two influencers when the big Hybe story this week was the girl who MHJ threw under the bus in March coming out and saying that MHJ had altered their text exchanges related to the harassment situation at Ador. Here's a hot take: how comes there's a lack of witnesses in Suga's case? There's also no time line from when Suga left the bar and when he was found on the ground by the police. How is it that no one recognized him either? Also there's not an exact number of his blood alcohol level only ever a range of what is considered illegal was only ever mentioned. Plus the CCTV footage is in such poor quality, you can't tell if it's Suga in the video. Think people, why is his DUI more important than the first lady?

Everyone wants to look at the inconsistencies in both Suga's and Hybe's statements but not the police's. It's true that Suga is a big public figure, but that doesn't change how other things that happen at the same time shouldn't be getting less coverage. It's weird that Suga's case is getting more coverage in the news over anything else in Korea.

I think you’re exactly right, and I felt there was something a mess when the story first broke because how convenient was a cop outside of suga’s door just 1000 feet from where he was. It’s just ridiculous and doesn’t add up. They do this political crap all the time in the USA and I’m saddened that it’s happening in South Korea as well. We all need to keep suga in our thoughts and prayers, and hopefully this doesn’t ruin his reputation. He’s one of the best. It is self-evident that the government now hates BTS and Hybe. They tried to promote them using BTS, but when BTS refused to be used politically, they are committing various regulations and discrimination. KBS, a state-run broadcaster, is only MHJ's speaker. JTBC criticized other people's CCTV, calling it Suga, but received only "caution."

She went to trial but was only fined $15,000 and no prison time. What Yoongi did was so much more light, so hoping he's just gonna get fined.

SK, don’t bite the hand that consistently feeds you! Not just on the bottom line financially. How many times can you use and abuse someone or something that is good for so many without ramifications? After the group members are done with military service there is nothing holding them there legally. If they aren’t feeling supported or appreciated HYBE has other locations to work out of if they so choose. HYBE’s legal team needs to get on top of these “questions” about using SUGA. For all we know, MHJ could have been involved in this situation too. So sad.😢

Sadly it isn't the first time and won't be the last that an idol has been sacrificed to the cause of politricking the public as diversionary tactics. Whenever there is a major scandal there is ALWAYS a music or celebrity one that is focused on by the masses. All any of us can really do is to openly support him till it dies down. I think the police was placed outside Suga's home. The timing couldnt be any more perfect. This has been an ongoing thing, and everything was sort of fine until the inspector was found dead. They knew this was going to make headlines, so they had to act fast and place a distraction, misdirection if you will. Was the Burning Sun event announvement in Indonesia a part of it? Yes, but it didnt work seeing that almost everybody loves that criminal. But you know who people love to hate? BTS. And now people are either demanding him to leave the group or be given a harsher punishment that Kim Sae Ron. FOR FALLING OFF HIS SCOOTER. Lord, help us all.

​@@anneverwey1714in my country they can revoke you license if you driving "drunk" (I don't remember exact % of alkohol to them to revoke it). They can revoke it even when you riding a bike. You are also fined/going to jail if the incident is serious. Most of the times they just give you warning. Yoongi would receive a warning if police would be in bad mood and they would probably let him be of they would be in a good mood. But I don't have idea how it is in SK. From what I saw from many tweets and comments it's similar to my country but I don't know exact laws.

Murió ahí mismo. Ese caso estaba siendo investigado cuando saltó la noticia de Suga, eso quiere decir que Yoongi y su Scooter no están cubriendo un escándalo, sino varios. Es simplemente asqueroso, repugnante, horrible y aterrador.
