I was there in Wembley and will never forget the instant mood switch that first note gave us all! will never not feel exactly the same when hearing just that. Also, J-Hope is forever etched in my memory as Wembley Outro Tear J-Hope, none other can top that: I remember being unable to breathe as tears crisscrossed my cheeks. People were fainting along his lyrics.

This song was written by Suga when the band was going through a really rough time, coming close to disbanding. After he finished the song he played it for the members and they all said that they cried. Afterwards they talked, choosing to stay together and tough it out. Knowing that are stronger together. They became each others source of comfort and support. Saying that they will rise together. It starts with Rm, then Suga and ending with J-hope.

The entire song was not written by Suga. The rapline usually writes their own parts. His part is directly about disbandment.

@@shivangiagrawal2665 Yes we know that the rappers in most cases write their own verses but when the members themselves say a particular member wrote a song they mean that the idea and initial lyrics originated with that member.... in this case it was Suga. When they decide to do the song then they each write their verses and the bighit producers add lyrics and do revisions as well. When people say RM wrote spring day or JK wrote magic shop nobody argues but in reality they did not write the entire song either, other members contribute lyrics or melodies and the rappers as well.

I worked near Wembley for a while and I got to hear some amazing crowds but BTS were the absolute best. The ARMY were respectful of the area and even cleaned up after other ARMY who weren't. At the time I wasn't really into their music, that took until 2021. This song stuck in my head all that time but I didn't know the name of it until autumn and I cried. The meaning and sound together is just wow. Oh, and Wembley seats 90k for matches, so around 85k for concerts.

just something to add to the depth of their lyrics: the three rappers took three different approaches to the “parting” or “break up”. suga’s key word was “tear” as tearing something apart, rm took it as “tear” as in crying, and jhope took it as “fear”. looking forward to more bts reactions from you💜

Outro: Tear might be my favorite rap line song, and this is one of the best live performances imo. It's haunting and sad but still feels like relief to me. RM's scream/rapping hurts me in the best way possible, Suga always wears the best chains and jewelry and this is no exception, and I can't talk about this without talking about how J-Hope absolutely destroyed that last verse and killed ARMY with the Dior fit (bless that stylist).

Rapline is the most strongest in the whole world.. They write, produce, compose the songs.. As others RM Suga and Hobi wrote lyrics of own version and then Suga wrote and composed music suitable for this song and their feelings because they were under the emotions of disbanding, they were so sad when he wrote this melody.. And Suga said " I ve never felt the same"

This performance never gets old. I’ve seen a lot of times over the years but still hits the same every time. You’ll feel passion and emotions all through out. If you want more of the rapline i suggest the Cypher Medley live 2017 watch the one, Cypher 4 live, UGH and Ddaeng. There’s also live version of the vocal line performing Ddaeng. Thats what makes them great they sing about things that go on real life and don't sugar coat it. But it's more than that as well, these guys are talented, great song writers, dancers, producers and just down to earth and funny guys. I found them during the mic drop time and been with them since. I went to my first concert of theirs in April, and I flew just to Las Vegas just to watch them. Was the best day of my life

This song was written by Suga back at about the end of 2017 when the band was seriously considering disbanding. Sugar wrote it in hopes that the members would reconsider and not disband. That's the only reason this song exists.

Thank you for taking this song suggestion. After a serious song, you can check out - Pied Piper for a fun twist and - Dimple for vocal line. BTS members also have their own solo songs in the albums. Aside from this they also have their own mixtapes. Also, as of June 2022 BTS is on a break from group activities to focus on solo projects. JHope was first to release his solo album - Jack in the Box last month.

Most people only get to know their very few English songs and think BTS is a silly little boygroup for teens. They will never experience their Korean discography which is full of self-written/self-produced gems with insanely good lyrics and deep meanings. With more diversity in genres that it would be enough for five different groups. Pop, rock, latin pop, lo-fi, jazz, hip-hop, rap, R&B, neo-soul, EDM... Name it, they have it. Everybody will find something to love, no matter their choice of style.

Saw this live in Chicago Soldier Field - I'm almost to my 5th decade of life here and have seen tons of concerts. This is by far the best song I have ever seen performed. "You're my beginning and my end, that is all. My meeting and my farewell". This song is a great example of how you can just feel it, even without knowing the lyrics. There are usually lyric videos done by fans too. Sometimes it's easier to watch that to see the lyrics (always powerful), then watch the official video or performance.

To get past the lyric issue, some reactors read the lyrics first on doolset Bangtan or watch the color coded lyrics video. Just a suggestion. It’s up to you. Yes, BTS was considering disbanding at this time, but Tear has another meaning. Since BTS’ albums are thematic, it falls into the story they are trying to tell. There are 3 Love Yourself albums. LY: Her is about finding that one true fated love. LY: Tear is about that perfect fated love falling apart (Tear is on this album). LY: Answer is about learning that the real answer to finding love is to first love yourself. In the song, RM talks about “teer” as is crying. Suga uses “tare” as something being torn apart. J-Hope is talking about the fear of losing that person. So, it’s an amazing play on words. They are lyrical geniuses which is why so many people respect them.
