One of the things I admire about RM is that when he would read out English comments to the members he would purposely mis-translate any hate comments into positive comments so that the other members wouldn’t be burdened and feel disheartened. He took that burden all onto himself. This is one of the reasons he is the best leader in K-pop.
@jinphany.2 жыл бұрын
He has probably had to deal with so much pain during the early stages. Being able to understand English was a curse and a gift. I only hope he didn't read all the nasty hate comments ;(
@briancampos64962 жыл бұрын
Absolutely this. He took so much of the burden in the early years and some even recently to let the others flourish. His sacrifice for BTS goes unmatched. One of the other things I love about RM is his unselfishness when it comes to doling out parts. As the central lyricist and production members, he lets others shine. The others have told him how much they appreciate how when he writes, he writes it for their distinctive personalities. That next level type of stuff. I think we’ll get a documentary in the next few years and the contributions of RM and Suga musically will become even more impressed upon the fans. They do so much and ask for so little….

I believe RM was seeing himself as an artist because he was writing music and lyrics and producing. But other people kept calling him an Idol. So he started questioning himself. Am I what I think I am, or am I wrong about that. He struggled with that for quite a long time, I believe. In the lyrics of their song ‘Idol’ he told the world that he didn’t care anymore. "We're thankful and we're sorry..." This expression usually comes from fans when we feel grateful for our favourite idols for their music and their hardwork but feel regretful that we haven't done enough to support them. To add about the immediate disbandment in the idol system, usually the 100 days time period is used to evaluate a new idol group -- their album sales, radio play, stage performances, etc -- to be able to see if they can bring success and profit to their company. which is why a lot of idol groups coming from small companies don't always last past their 100 days since debut, because oftentimes the moment their company fail to see if they can make it through or be successful, they would officially disband the group and cancel their contract before reaching that 100 days period. This is where the expression mentioned before also came from, because the fans feel like they play a lot of role in the group's success too by supporting them and making sure that they would be seen as a group that the company could invest for a long time. there are also companies that don't see the 100 days as their main goal for the group to succeed, but the chances of that group to win 1st place in Korean music shows. during this time, BTS had never won 1st place, and instead have had their screentime cut shorter a bunch of times or their slots moved around to fit for other (bigger) groups, so a lot of fans felt regretful that they couldn't help the group win 1st place so they could be acknowledged more

I think what that guy meant when he said "mental health is non-existent in Korea" is that it's not taken seriously. It's not a problem they think "exists" or warrants such serious consideration and adjustment, it's something that's fleeting or a person must just "get over it".

I just wanna go in on Bfree and his minions for a second. First of all, the way Namjoon(who was only 19 in that clip) and Yoongi(who was 20 or 21) handled those grown ass men trying to embarrass them and tear them down in front of an audience multiple times was so mature and great because if I was in their shoes I would've hurt Bfree's feelings. But it's just amazing to me that those guys felt like they had any authority to question BTS's authenticity, especially when it comes to hip hop bc not only did they admit to not even listening to BTS's albums, but they're trying to scold someone else on a foundation they didn't even create. BFree's rap skills dont even touch RM or Suga's OR Jhope's, and they're tryna say that them wearing stage make up makes them girls when literally every celeb in the world, regardless or gender or career, wears fckin camera/stage make up. And guess what? BFREE WORE MAKE UP IN HIS MUSIC VIDEO AFTER THE FACT. I wonder what his big tough macho boys think about that, did Bfree give up hip hop then? And that clip was not the last time Bfree messed with BTS, he went on lil interviews saying he would slap them if he caught on the them in an elevator, just a whole bunch of childish bs. Then once BTS blew up in america and really started taking over the globe years later, bfree tweeted and apology for everything he put them through. BTS ofc didn't respond and armys flooded his replies strongly rejecting his apology. I just get so heated whenever that clip comes up because they were so comfortable being ignorant and bullying RM and Yoongi, the whole interview is even more infuriating. If i was there and understood Korean they would have had to remove me bc i would have defended the rapline in a heart beat.
@tifadreamers2 жыл бұрын
May I add that his hypocrisy didn't even stop there (with make-up thing)? Because on Show Me The Money 4, Bfree helped and offered to be featured on Mino's stage during the final, which means he had no problem working with idols after bashing them the way he did on the clip 💀 The whole saga where he apologized only to backtrack and wrote hate tweets after nobody in BTS responded to him was a joke to me. It made him look like a manchild who felt so insecure in front of Joon and Yoongi

It's a little embarrassing to admit, but I was one of those close-minded people who didn't want to get into BTS and would just dismissed them as a "kpop group" who'd do generic music with generic lyrics. I let myself be influenced by people around me as well, so the thought of listening to "such music" was just out of the picture. In 2017, after ending a not-so-long-but-very-impactful relationship, I just wanted to find something to distract myself because I was feeling sad and would cry all the time. The hobbies I usually had and the music from the artist I followed at that time weren't doing that for me anymore, so I decided to give them a chance because I would see their name EVERYWHERE. And I did that. At first I was reluctant to admit that I was enjoying their music and performances because of my friends and even family, but then I decided that their opinion shouldn't matter and if BTS made me happy then I would continue to listening to their music and support their careers. They became a sort of like a group of friends that would always be there no matter what and found a very accepting and welcoming community of such amazing individuals. BTS and ARMY became a second family to me. I'm grateful that I found them at the right time :) and also a little proud that I gave myself the chance to explore things I knew nothing about. 5 years later I'm still here and I feel like I will always be here. Usually in k-pop, the rapper was just someone who couldn’t sing, so they were given a few lines to rap. They were there for other skills or talents, but they weren’t rappers. So that’s what they mean by “idol rapper”. When BTS comes with actual rappers that write their own lyrics, it was basically unheard of.

in Korea 100 days is very important. 100 days is about 3 months. Its kinda like how a lot Americans will celebrate their 6 month anniversary even before the 1 year especially when they’re young. In Korea it’s 100 days since starting a new relationship, starting a new job, getting married. 100 days since debut and since There are so many groups that debut each year the number of idols who make it to 100 days are few. If the group isn’t doing well enough by 100 days the company will most likely disband the group due to lack of funds. This makes sense because a company doesn’t wanna put money into a group they don’t think won’t sell. Think of the first 100 days as sort of a probation period.

@sami-qm8od2 жыл бұрын
Also, yes disbandment due to lack of support to carry on the group. Needs support (selling albums, invited to show cases) bring revenue to support the group. The company would feel that if they don't make it after first record, debate, they would feel they see no future for them so they would drop them and move onto next set of groups..
@ruthfischer76152 жыл бұрын
@@sami-qm8od that and some of the labels HAVE no money. Big Hit was in debt till 2016 I believe. There is something else: on a music show will be *13* *-* *18* groups showing of but *60* will *APPLY* to show their music. There are 3 waiting rooms. In the third a groups that have *NO* spot on the show hoping that someone will come in point at them and tell them they a´have a few minutes to show at least a shortened song of theirs because some booked can't/won't perform. And while this are new numbers it does not mean that the numbers were that much smaller during their debut time. But if you do not make it on these shows with your first songs you are unlikely to do it with a comeback as you did not gain new fans without showing yourself. So investing further IS futile. But at least it means that the Idols get out of their contracts and can either try somewhere else or leave the industry instead of working of a contract and earning just enough to survive with no future prospects.

I'm an army since 2015 and the only thing i can think of for explaining what BTS are for me is angels. BTS is like abstract art. everyone does not have the cognition and vision to understand them. they are these amazing unique brilliant pieces of abstract work put together as a beautiful mosaic. ppl hate them bcz they cannot understand them. so instead of working on their minds, they blame BTS for being too difficult, different, not confirming to the molds of society and not fitting in to their pre conceived notions of how people or things should be. The kids in South Korea start at a young age, thus the kpop trainees start at a young age too. BTS members always say "we will work harder". It breaks my heart whenever I hear it... even to this day. RM, Suga wrote TEARS for the group.... they were going to quit. So much pressure.

“bulletproof is a mindset” get that on a T-shirt! RM is inspirational to me because he’s SO strong and has led BTS with such grace. So proud of him. As SUGA said in one interview; the position of leader doesn’t come with any extra perks nor pay, but comes with endless responsibilities and more work! And RM was 16-17 when he began as a trainee and first member of BTS. That’s a heavy responsibility on a young head. Yeah we don’t mind the pauses because most of us have seen this before; we’re watching your reactions to it and remembering why we’re so inspired by the guys, re-fall in love with them all over again and enjoy learning from your unique POV anything we might have missed! It’s great 💜 Can you believe JK said the same thing this year at the awards show? That they hope they can continue to receive our love and support and be future artists we won’t be embarrassed of after their military service? Jeez they can’t really give us any more and we have only things to be proud of by being fans of these guys 💜 I loved your hypothetical “what if RM/JK/Jimin dis decide to leave?” Well j-hope almost left (I think he got on a train and went home to his folks for a few days) and JK called him crying which convinced him to come back. The trainee period is notoriously hard and to get through it for anyone is amazing, these guys did so well to create the strong bond they have and to still be going strong 10 years after debut and 13~ years after training. 💜

I am a fan of BTS and I will never be embarrassed or ashamed of that. I’ve had a lot of people in my life who have dismissed me or scoffed at me because of my love for BTS. They think that it’s a “phase” that I’ll get over in a year, or they’ll scoff when I recommend a BTS song and think that I’m just a silly little fan girl for a cute boy band. But I’m still not embarrassed, because I know that these people don’t know how much these 7 men have influenced my life, with their songs, their messages, and their personalities. If they just knew how BTS has made me feel seen, has motivated me to me a better person, has helped me through some of the roughest months I have ever been through, then maybe they wouldn’t scoff. These boys have helped me and so many others feel loved and heard and seen, and I’m just sad that their reputation as a “boy band” somehow puts them down in the eyes of so many other people. As “Hitman Bang” says, people can be so close-minded and while it hurts me when my close friends and family scoff at my love for them, I know that their message is worth so much more than that. So for that reason, I will never be embarrassed to say that I am a fan of BTS, that I am ARMY. Even if they make sh*t music in the future, I will support them, if only to repay them for all of the support that they have provided me. Thank you for your reaction!💜

Throughout BTS content, they have been mmm "commanded"/tasked with writing letters, as well as they've received some. Sometimes they have to write to ARMY (famous JK tears addressing us), sometimes to themselves (of the past, the present and the future), sometimes to another member (randomly usually). I do think this form of expression, which leads to reflection and inner thoughts in order to put those in a somewhat order for a letter is a free, beautiful art and form of mental health they've been practising for years, as well as their vlogs and their lives with ARMY ^^ If you want to check any of these clips, most of them are in BangtanSubs channel as older BTS clips have no subs in their official channel (BANGTANTV).

Ive been crying so much to the point of sobbing watching this reaction, especially the moment of bts reading their first heartfelt letters to army 🥺 first u said, what if they decided to give up, i cried cause i cant imagine that. These guys have been a source of healing and happiness to me since pandemic happens, and me struggling with transitioning to adulthood. You said every thought i had in my mind about why bts & army's bond are so special and close. Youre right, i never met artists who love their fandom as much as bts, and they show various ways of showing that gratitude and love...ways that made me questions "they can do that??" But thats bcs our love for each other is just as true. It seems impossible cause ppl would say "at the end of the day, youre just a fan, and theyre a celebrity, theres always barriers". I do not deny that, but bts always make it meaningful, never push our love away, they embrace it and give us so much more. Bts have expressed their loves more than just words. They expressed it as they see fit in this fandom-artists relationship, like namjoon once said, he hopes bts & army relationships will stay like 2 parallel lines, always next to each other, though the gap will always be there. I feel so loved & belonged in this fandom, love i never even felt among ppl i know irl. And these guys is such men of their words, never once they broke the promise they made to army. If they said they'll work hard to be better and improve, they'll show it and even until 2022, they still say they'll work even harder to repay us. When jk said he wish to be a singer we can be proud of in 2013, last year he said he wanna be our singer forever. When namjoon said his biggest fear is to disappoint us, this year's Festa, he cried again while saying he was afraid the decision they made for Chapter 2 would disappoint army. NEVER ONCE bts didnt take their promise seriously. They created this very loving community, we are like lovers, but also not like lovers. Jimin also said the same thing during this year's Festa dinner, he said "we(bts&army) are special. We grow with each other, we know each other so well, but there are things that bts arent able to share (bcs the rule of the world - they are bts, and we are just the fans). The terms that would best describe our relationship is that we are best friends. like what they said in their latest Fan song "For Youth", dedicated for army, the lyric said "youre my best friend for the rest of my life". And i do consider them as my bestfriends, who always supports me from far away in whatever i do. They build such special connection with army, i'll take this title as Bangtan's ARMY to the death.

Debuting is by no means a guarantee of success. Not many survive and the competition is fierce. Bangtan rose because they stood and stand for those who had & have no hope, in SK (as we've seen) especially for the youngsters who suffer the pressure the education system, society and parents place on them. They understood this and used their music to address such topics in order to give hope to the hopeless. At that time there was no mental health for kids, and BTS took on that mantle and have never stopped to this day, to the extent that it now encompasses adults as well of all walks of life and all ages. They truly are a Godsend at a time when they were so desperately needed. I truly believe this and pray they continue in the same vein inspiring everyone world wide. However I also think it's Army's responsibility to reciprocate by watching over them and helping them not to be taken advantage of now that they've reached the level of success that they didn't even expect, by a system that can destroy goodness. I do so by praying for them and Bighit/Hybe everyday as I'm a person of faith. I don't just support financially or materially but try to do so spiritually as I owe these wonderful young men so much. They truly are legends and will be forever remembered as such. 💜

So I don't know if you will ever see this comment, I just want to pour some of my emotions in here. I've been living in a very abusive household since my birth until now (female 22 yo), my so called parents enjoy beat the shit out of me for literally any reason (especially the one that gave me birth) I don't talk to my siblings becuz they hurt me countless of times. I used to enjoy pain so I cut myself all the time, I tried suicide multiple times too, my grades went downhill ( I used to be a model student) I was in a toxic relationship with a narcissist that sucked the hell out of my life. I was desperate to leave earth and disappear until 2019 when the tannies met me, I listened to fake love and immediately I felt peace for the first time in a long long time, the lyrics just spoke to me. BTS have been my saviors since, I love them to death and I'll never stop loving them my angels and my knights. Im not completely okay but I'm surviving, I graduated from university and I'll be pursuing my masters, I still live with my family unfortunately but I believe that everything will turn out great INCHALLAH They have me strength, I'm breathing thanks to them, they are my safe place. Am not good with words as u can see 🙂 I struggle with insomnia all the time and my ultimate solution to that is listening to Scenery by Taetae every single time It's just like magic I love u guys, u are really genuine and I don't have patreon to support u there but am a loyal subscriber in here, keep it up guys 💜💜💜💜💜 Thank u

I am from South India where being a fan of a korean musician is heavily criticized and bullied upon... but that doesnt stop me appreciating them for the amount of positivity that bts brought upon me... all my life i was bullied wherever i go just for being a different kid from the crowd and for standing out... even in my family ... the only soul i have is my mom ... i have a father technically but i never got the love from him when i needed someone to just pat me and say "I am there for u ... do not worry" but me and my brother had my mom..just her...tbh...up until discovering bts i saw me as a waste of breath. i cant blame me for it coz u can name any kind of problem and i will have a story to say coz i would've experienced it... whether it be sexual and verbal harassment or abuse or getting death threat, depression, anxiety, constant panic attacks etc... when life gave me so much to handle i finally gathered my courage to erase myself away from the universe ... i locked myself for months and starved myself coz of the massive hate towards myself ... then i came across a music video 'Dynamite' caught my attention but i didnt care...the saying "BTS finds u when u need them" I really believe it now... every content i came across of them especially them as human beings i felt really dumb for the perspective i had on my life and myself.. it was not the world but it was me all along... they made me realise that no one could ... now i have taken a 360 spin around and i m the version that i truly am not the mask that i had to wear ... now i am becoming a person that i wish i had when in need... i try my best to hear to ppl's words .. lill things can make huge difference... seeing ppl like u really digging deep and really making efforts and appreciating them is wt makes me really happy ... i discovered ur channel from ur very first BTS content and been a fan of u guys since.... i know reading all the way thru the end can be a lill annoying but i really hope that a lill bit of my story can comfort ppl in any way.. eng is not my first lang so kindly forgive me if i messed up anywhere ... i really hope u guys and ppl reading this would have a really beautiful smile all along the journey of life...thank u guys for making me smile constantly..

I been with bts for about 6 years. and one of the cementing factors for me is the overarching respecting and willingness to listen and learn. Then theres the trust I am allowed to have in bts as a consumer of their music. The love comes with that trust that they won't disrespect me and mine. That they love us and appreciate us and that they love each other.

BTS are the ones that brought mental health to the forefront. So like while BTS are a good global example of what men could be, and while men crying is not taboo like in the west, BTS are the ones, with a couple tragic examples over the years, that were like the huge whistle blowers of korea

B-free is from Hawaii. BTS mention that in a direct jab to him in Cypher Pt.2 when taking on haters. One of the best things is that when BTS got big and got a huge following, ARMY found that footage and cancelled B-free so hard that he tried to apologize to BTS. He has not been able to come back from that and not really been able to rap again since.

Jared and Jordan, you're an absolute blessing for me.. I swear, i have been dealing with lots of sh*t for the past days. I just came across your reaction videos and BOOM!!!! I have watched all these videos before, but your reactions and making notes of these very small points made me realise how much i was missing as an army. BTS came to me in the very critical time. I was deciding between jumping down from the highest building in my area after being done with back in 2017.. And I happened to hear one of BTS' songs. And I was forced to come down and listen to the madness. It completely changed my life for good. You are doing a very good job. Keep up. I have started binge-watching all your videos and its mind blowing every time... thank you again. Lots of Love. From LIANA.

Do you know why RM was comfortable when he was attacked in that way? He was serene cause he doesn't take being compared to a woman as an insult. I love them. They tried to insult him by using something that's not even an insult, and he knew that cause he's smart enough to, what a man!

Hello Jared and jordan, I'm 33 years old. I watched your channel and follow your reaction to BTS' songs and what ARMY says about the impact of songs on them, and this also encouraged me to share my story. In 2018, I broke up with the love of my life, I went into a depression at the same time, and by chance I heard the song "Epiphany" of Jin, and then the whole album "Love Yourself Answer", I learned that I am the only one who deserves love is myself. Indeed, a song or books can save your life and give you hope.

I wanted to avoid commenting since this video is from a year ago so I doubt a lot of people or even yall Jared & Jordan will come back to it to read it, but I do agree that there probably isn’t a definite answer to “why are people so close-minded?” However, the way I see the answer to that question is it’s based on one’s experiences, environment, and who or what people surround them. But I’d say a large part of it is also due to the way society is and how humans over time have built up society (because society didn’t just appear on its own) to be so harsh,uptight, and critical especially when it comes to things that aren’t the norm, but at one point humans shaping society to become the way it is and kinda leading the way of its evolution got thrown back at our faces and have in turn shaped and reinforced the way people thought. Idk if that made sense but I see it as like a mutualistic relationship (symbiotic relationship) but between an organism (us humans) and a dynamic and multifaceted construct shaped by the diverse actions and relationships of its members rather than between two organisms, but in this case its not benefitting anyone or society but rather feeding off each other, growing negatively on both ends. And I also believe that most of the problems we face in society are self-induced (I’m talking more like climate change and other environmental issues, the prevalence of narrow mindedness, and other things like that that aren’t always outside of our control- things that we sometimes don’t put positive effort into and neglect until it becomes so bad or so persistent in society). Oh and to talk more about the norm, I believe that yes sure animals survive based on what’s the norm for them, but we are different. We have the power and the room to break the norms and grow as people positively if we allow for it, but that’s the problem: we don’t necessarily allow for it 100% and our tendency of being easily swayed by public opinion multiplies the effects and grip it has on our lives.

Jared is 💯 correct when he says "pretty soon we'll be able to tell them apart from the back" (not word for word) we as now full fledged ARMY can gloat and we can tell them apart not only from their back, but from their voice alone, their hands, and their smiles. Not even kidding, there are videos on KZbin challenging you to do just that. And they're fun. Maybe one day when you feel more confident in your BTS knowledge, you'd be up for the challenge to try one of these and share with us, even on patron.

Immediate disbandment is something new idol groups fear. Unfortunately when a group that debuts doesn't do well in its first 2-3 years years as a group it is common that they are disbanded. Especially when the company doesn't have enough funds to put into said group. Even if their company does have enough money, sometimes they don't want to put in the money for a 'failing' act so they eventually get disbanded. Unfortunately this can even happen within the first year of the group debuting.

You guys wondered what little things Jess could have accomplished. I think I know. I'm a single mum of 6y beautiful girl without support as my family lives in a different country. I study full-time Mathematics and Data Science at one of the London universities. After my classes, I run to pick up my girl from school, go home, cook dinner, clean the kitchen, do laundry, help with her homework, remember about shopping, her schedule, my schedule, house chores, bedtime routines itp itd I know you say: that's a lot! I hear it all the time, just can't see it. BTS helped me to appreciate myself and be kind to myself. That kind of everyday 'little things' Jess could have thought about. You do great Jess! Thank you J&J for your reactions! I honestly have not found more detailed ones than you guys provide. Ahh I just love your videos! 💖💖 About the disbandments: When they choose you to debute, you sign a contract. In kpop practically everything about idols' schedules etc. is decided by the company, so if they see that you're not selling they will most likely just terminate the contract and let you go. So if on day 98 you don't get any news regarding the company dropping your group you're most likely doing just fine. There have been instances tho, where groups that were loved by the public and doing seemingly great, all of a sudden were gone. Company would just give out a statement on social media and say that a group no longer exists. Idols don't really just leave when they have already made it this far. Of course different things happen, not everything is always disclosed to the public, everyone has their own reasons. Also, anyone, feel free to correct me and add stuff, this is just a general picture of the enviroment from what I think I know...

I will say, living and working in Korea, as an American, mental health is still greatly overlooked in Korea. We know that Big Hit offers regular counseling for the boys and they feel comfortable enough to openly share with army. And army feels able to open up to bts... However, unfortunately, as a whole Korea is still not great with mental health. For example, I work in an elementary school and I've seen many students who need to be professionally diagnosed with adhd/on the autism spectrum, but their parents won't take them. Because they don't want their child to be labeled and stigmatized. I've had teachers tell me, "Oh, that kid is just strange. Just ignore them." My 4th graders tell me they don't go to bed until 11pm~12am because they've had school, extra after school classes, homework for school and after school classes, so they stay up a little later to do something fun. They talk to me about how stressed they are, but they're just told it's a part of growing up.

I totally understand you, sometimes I also find myself singing Attack on Bangtan, it's my favorite song by them. One thing they didn't mention in the documentary is that their educational system is very strict because 98% of young people attend higher education, so the course and university they enter is what makes the difference when looking for work. I'm from Brazil and our rate of young people in higher education is around 10%, just so I can understand their level of concern. Apart from that their culture is much more focused on the collective than on individualism as Western cultures are, so, and thankfully that is already changing, they care too much about the opinion of others about who you are more than being happy. and really do what you want. So mental health wasn't an important topic, but I'm glad that's changing there.

It’s funny that you mention “what if..?” J-Hope recently did a solo album and one of the songs is literally titled “What If”. It had been known J-Hope actually, at some point early on, was considering leaving, but RM and Hitman Bang got him to come back. Though the song he wrote has a different air to it, I can’t help but think about that instance for the song because it was very hard then. And yes, perhaps everyone of them is burdened with the idea of “what if” they didn’t keep going. We’ll never know. Indeed, perhaps it is best that it stays that way…

Im a 40 female who have 2 kids. My kids played BTS songs at 'Fire' era. Being disappointed by boyband before BTS makes me think that all boyband were same then ignored BTS. Think that it was just a teenage thing. But when i accidently watch 'Dynamite' on tv, i heard Jimin's voice and got captivated. I ask my daughter about him and then start to learn bout BTS and the members. Even dig more than my daughter did. And now i understand who they are. I always told my kids "dont affected by others told about who you are (saying that you ugly, stupid, etc), you are you no matter what they say. If you think you are a good person then show them that you are. Someone who sincerely loved you will see that, if they arent, then its them who missunderstanded, and that is not your fault." And i just realized that it was a 'bulletproof' means are. I never have the courage to admit that im an army (being shamed for ignoring them back then), but since i realized that i have the same thought (vision) with BTS convinced me that I AM AN ARMY. And im glad that BTS are exist, they are a good example for people to be a human, so i can teach my kids better. I love your reaction, help me to understand more bout BTS. Thank you. Borahae 💜

I think you guys didn’t really understand what disbandment meant. Disbandment is the group breaking up, but officially. The agency will release a notice saying that the group has disbanded, after that some will stay at the agency or leave or choose another career paths or join other agencies… If a group disbands, that means the group is done and we will not see them together again. (Maybe if they keep being friends they will hang out or whatever but no more group activities) A lot of groups disband after their contracts are done and some break up even before having a comeback. So disbandment is breaking apart, all of them leaving the group, the group is done etc etc

yeah, man, kpop agencies are brutal. if a new group isn't pulling their weight/making back the money that was spent on their debut, the agency will disband the group like officially. cut them off, no more albums, no more promotions, they just stop existing. it could have been day 98 when their management tells them that, you know? but bts' new album was doing well enough that they were surviving. things get reaaaally rocky with money from here on out.

The "diss interview" still get on my nerves but RM and Suga was so impressive. The subject was about the différence/or bridge between underground hip hop and Idols, but RM was not expecting such an ambush , specially because some of those in attendance were his friends when he was undergound, but no one spoke up for him. RM was only 20 years old and some of those men were at least 10 years older! The way he reply to B Free (who was not a music critic but a rapper) " If that's how you feel about it then you can feel that way" shows how patient and smart he is. He was hurt but moved on from it, as he always do. He work hard, and solve this identity crisis between idol and artist. I’m so proud of RM. At such a young age, he could see the bigger picture and decided to accept the challenges that come with it. His goals were very clear to him -- bring out the artist in him by breaking in to the idol system and eventually challenge the system itself. (as Bang PD wanted them to do, as I said before when he created Big Hit, he openly stated he didn't like the system that the Idol industry had created and he wanted to do better. So BH let the boys have control over music, express their opinions, allowed them to talk about issues that many in SK society wouldn't. This mindset, added to the lack of fund and connections, made them an anomaly in the Kpop Industry) Besides the Cypher and others diss track using by the rapline to respond to the haters, and B-Free particularly , they have mostly proove by their work that BTS are undeniably artists & musicians. Eyeliner, jewellery or skirt they sometimes wear on stage back in time (mostly RM, Suga and J hope) could never change this fact. Hey man, rock stars in my youth all have heavy make up, very long hair and plateform shoes ! and so what ? I have a huge respect for RM as a person and as a leader. And I love to rewatch this série with you. How young they all looked, how hard they worked and how hungry they were for people to hear their music and relate to their words. Knowing how far they've come from those early years warm my heart. Irony of the history : B Free (who was not so free because he went to jail years after, it's call Karma) said to Suga "You thought you could change your outcome by becoming an idol?” And yes, they did. BTS didn’t just changed their lives, they literally built an empire out of a small company, break the rules in the K pop industry and changed the global music and pop culture just by doing what they love , with the most powerful and dédicated fandom that have ever exist.💜

When you get annoyed, remember that man (bfree) got arrested the day after Daechwita came out and laugh. Laugh at his hypocrisy for assaulting another rapper for "leaving unpleasant comments on his personal social media account"

"you can call me artist. you can call me idol. i don't care." "i know what i am. i know what i want. i never gon' change. i'm never gon' trade." "you can't stop me loving myself." - bts in idol.

Hearing N.O again at this age and generation, Idk what to do anymore.. Should I wait 2yrs to finish my college or should I just pursue applying abroad. Coz I really can't wait to achieve something and I can't imagine having no occupation before BTS disband. I really need to see them before its too late.

They are not disbanding... Take your time to make your decisions on the basis of what's good for your career and you in a long time run, instead of for a moment...basically, what u think is right... That ways your hardships would be truly yours...

I like it when you pause the video and say what's on your mind. I don't mind even if it's a long pause. I always learn something evrytime i watch you plus your voices are very calm. Thank you for this reaction, God bless and keep safe always. ❤
