Ladies, since you like Bang PD, and appreciate the beginnings of BigHit, you need to note that chairman Bang has led the huge and ambitious enterprise of transitioning into HYBE, acquiring Ithaca Holdings (American corporation managing the likes of Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande & Demi Levato). The vision is so bold. I believe it’s partly to better market BTS in the USA, as Mainstream radio stations in the west has been so resistant to giving them airtime. Their spanking new HYBE building in Seoul also just opened. To think this “empire” was built on the shoulders of these 7 goofy teenagers/young adults, their love of music and performance, and their mission as artists for healing, also thanks to ARMY. All from nothing to billions of $ in the space of 7 years.

Really enjoyed watching this. I do feel though that people seem to have forgotten the entire history of popular music when they talk about artists today. Men have been wearing dresses, growing their hair long, wearing make-up and being androgynous for decades. My granddad thought that the Rolling Stones looked like girls because they had long hair and Mick Jagger wore a dress. Glam Rock, Queen, David Bowie, Boy George, Duran Duran... the list goes on and on. It's just been out of fashion for a few years, that's all, but even MCR and The Killers were wearing make-up pretty recently. I will never understand why people make such a big deal of it and act like it's so radical - it's what popstars do and have done for generations. That said, I think one of the things that BTS does well is making it more subtle so it's not just stage costume but more everyday fashion than some artists, which is nice.

This really made me smile. Lovely reactions! And a pure celebration of BTS and their influence. "From nobodies to legends" is the one that got me crying. The end with RM's speech and all the audience singing along with Jin - you just don't stand a chance!

I really agree with all the comments on the Rise of Bangtan doc....its army made, but its all clips and sound bites so you can see where everything comes from. It’s so well made and even though I’ve been an army since 2016 and feel like I’ve seen everything I’ve learned so much about them through these episodes. It’s 9 episodes in with a bonus footage and deleted scenes video with each episode. They’re chronological from predebut...the latest episode goes through the most beautiful moment in life and its still ongoing...its a must watch for new and old armys. Thanks for all you do ladies. Ive been watching but I’m deciding to subscribe 💜

After watching the hardship videos, you appreciate more just how wonderful, special and loving these 7 human beings are. Yes you will get emotional but will be more appreciative of all their efforts. At 61 yrs old, I can honestly say I never have in my life appreciated any artists like I do BTS. They truly have all my respect, it would be wonderful if there were more individuals in the world like them.

There's a reaction channel called REED REACTS where they interviewed the creator of Rise of Bangtan. She mentioned that maybe the reason why there is some disconnect between the audience and the introduction compilations ia because it was narrated and not told by the members themselves. Some of them also lacked context that's why people do not understand them sometimes. That's probably why you have the same feelings towards reactors reacting to these intro vids

In an interview they were asked when was the last time they cried and why and Jin said I cried watching a cartoon and Suga answered: what's the big thing on crying? Everyone cries. I think referring to the perception of not being natural to show emotions.

You need to watch the rise of bangtan documentary!! It’s so good it tells their story but from their point of view, using bangtan bomb footage and logs made at that time. It has so many clips I have never seen. What I love is that it really goes into detail and give a whol context about the kpop industry at that time and what bts mindsets were, what they had to do through. It’s so in depth for example episode one is before their debut, their apprehension, how they practiced until dawn, ep two is the no more dream debut, the first stage, what the song means etc and ep three is orul82 comeback with the song n.o what it means in the context of the Korean school system + a bit of a back story about all that « idol or artist » question that was imposed on rm and suga and how they dealt with it And then it goes like that phase by phase, we currently are on chapter 9 around the release of « I need u ». Maybe you can watch the teaser of the serie to get an idea of what it is. kzbin.info/www/bejne/iYTEq2Vrlq97r6M

I would add that like everyone else, the boys are not perfect, and when accused of misogyny and racism, reflected and acknowledged issues (or possible issues) even when not done with ill intentions or being mis-interpreted. They go through their own learnings/struggles and some members have had to get therapist help. Alongside with personality I believe their circumstances also shaped their growth and perception, which is apparent in their words of wisdom.

Loved the reaction! I recommend watching "The Most Beautiful Life Goes On: A Story of BTS" by the channel Asian Theory. This is the best introduction video I've seen so far. It tells their story as a group very well. To get to know the members individually, the best thing to do is watch their Run BTS episodes!

For newbies, the Asian Theory video is better honestly since it delves into the background of the industry as well. The Rise of Bantan is also another even more in depth series of videos good for newbies. XCeleste videos tend to be more melodramatic and biased so it's better for ARMYs.
@rainshield20823 жыл бұрын
The asian theory has false info and their narrative about why bh created bts are based on their own perception so it's dangerous for new army/gp to watch.

It was great watching this again with you. I think there are a couple more really important videos of xCeleste's to watch...."This is BTS ARMY" is a great one to understand the power of the fandom kzbin.info/www/bejne/n3bcZaqJipWnbpo and "Nobodies To Legends" is fantastic too kzbin.info/www/bejne/iaOsZXSsoKZ1o5Y . xCeleste is an amazing ARMY and great creator and I think all ARMY should subscribe to her channel for amazing insights, explanations and theories. I seriously think your channel has the best of both worlds...2 experienced ARMY with great knowledge to share and 2 new ARMY enthusiastic about learning more about BTS. Every ARMY is very excited about BTS and I can't think of anything better than getting to share it all with someone who wants to learn about it (that would be my ideal situation anyways as ARMY). Thanks for making great content. PS..as a Canadian, I have never once in my life said "A-boot", I do however say "eh" on occasion.....lol.
