You should watch the the whole episode of either the cooking competition or the one where they are in pjs. But you are right these clips are more for ppl that know the context behind them. Everyone is different. I've never watched a single one of the RUN BTS episodes that are featured in this video and it's my favorite thing to watch, I put it on every other day. They're either playing games or being given silly tasks to complete while riding rollercostes and whatnot. I found a lot of it self-explanatory but, hey, it was fun watching you all regardless.

Leilani Valerio I've seen a few, just not the ones in this video. It's a lot like a movie trailer that shows you all the best parts. Depending on the type of person you are, full context may or may not make a difference in your enjoyment of something. For me the actual rules of the games aren't relevant, only the member's interactions with each other. They have to jump into the frame to take a picture at the right time, successfully pass a message between each other without being able to hear, answer questions while riding an amusement park ride, etc. That's enough for me 😊.

Vlive is like Asian celebrity youtube altho not everyone who has a channel on it is famous... but BTS has the most followed channel there and it's a mix of content. So there's BTS RUN (which is what all the clips here are from), which is where they play games/do missions incl learning how to make pottery / go into escape rooms etc; BTS Gayo (where they play games related to Korean pop culture); their comeback shows (where they promote their new album just before its released without giving anything away); and then their 'vlives'. Vlives are what we call their live videos they take using vlive and it's kinda like instagram live or periscope. That's where Eat Jin happens (Jin's eating live show), where RM does his album breakdowns, where the members sometimes do birthday lives (on their bday they talk to us, answer questions etc) or where they go live when they miss us or want to talk to us. Live videos get subbed by the vlive team (which is owned by naver which is like the Korean Google) within hours for bts, and fans can also add their own subs in other languages there for free. It's actually really great! And pre recorded things like RUN come with English subs automatically . Also the opening song is blood sweat and tears! Thanks for the reaction even though you couldn't really enjoy it bc of the content. Totally understandable! Watching the whole RUN episode is more fun anyway

Yeah, you need to watch Run from v live to understand. This made me laugh several times...but, it’s definitely confusing if you haven’t seen Run. FYI Run is a series they film on V Live...since BTS no longer has time to participate in Korean variety shows, they have crew members who setup popular games and activities from variety shows for the members. (They actually started the series when they weren’t as popular, because lots of variety shows weren’t inviting them). Run let’s them film on their own schedule and bring contents that fans want to see. Sometimes the games are small and fun like figuring out the words to a nursery rhyme right after a nap to more involved like taking a cooking class, learning pottery, or renting out a theme park. They’re always funny and you can see the members personalities come out.

Yup "Run BTS" is their variety show that airs on Vlive so everyone around the world can watch it for free. They do lots of different activities or just play lots of stupid games, a lot of them are twists on different Korean drinking canes or popular games from Korean variety shows. They do pretty much anything from paintballing, truth or dare, bowling, learning to cook, they do a lot of escape rooms, relay races and scavenger hunts, putting on skits, theme parks...pretty much everything and it's always some hilarious competition between teams. They compete for prizes or more often to avoid punishments. Their punishments include being hit by the other members, having cold water being dumped on/jumping in the ocean, book reports, forced to go hiking up a mountain, etc. their favorite and most common punishment is dressing up in some crazy costumes like a dress, the other members BT21 characters, loud stage costumes from their shows, or super retro outfits...sometimes with the added punishment of wearing these to the airport or red carpets where there's lots of paparazzi 😂 it honestly barely phases ARMY when they show up wearing crazy stuff, we just figure they must have lost another game or bet 😂 they really are freaking extra

Who told you to see this? These are all totally out of context! They are all clips from BTS "Run" episodes from vlive! Even for someone whose seen all of them before they are way too choppy and edited poorly! More time should be spent for each clip to make it funny at all! Or at least show funnier or better clips! There are so many better ones to choose from! Run episodes are really much better if you see them from beginning to end or at least long enough where you know what they are even doing! You guys really should check out some vlive run episodes maybe on patreon where they will be safe to see.

BTS run is where they play games, compete against each other for prizes, do various activities together, etc. Vlive is obviously the name of the app and when they do a live video it's referred to as a vlive😊 They're so extra that everything they do is entertaining but you won't understand anything if you haven't seen any of the episodes.

Not upset you didn't laugh. As much as love them I wouldn't laugh either if I hadn't seen the full episodes. This video isn't even all funny moments, but clips to remind you of hysterical situations. Isolated and out of context their still kinda funny because they're just weird and goofy, but not 'haha' funny. Even if you just knew what the games were would help, but you'll have to at least be familiar with other Korean variety shows which y'all probably don't even know exists. So really no blame! As you noticed, this video might be funny only to the people who already know the context. I laughed a little at the second part, but I understand that without background knowledge it's just a video of BTS doing stuff. RUN!BTS is aired on Vlive (currently on hiatus since they had no time to film, probably going to come back soon). They basicly play games and do challenges that the director/staff will give them, most of the time they divide in two/three groups that play against each other. So even when they were in the amusement park, they were completing challenges on the rides by remembering things while riding, and then after the ride was over they had to repeat what they learned etc. There sometimes spies that are secretly disturbing their teams chances to win. They also make up their own punishments for the losers (and they are pretty harsh, not gonna lie). Hilarious, my muscles are sore from laughing after almost every episode. You should totally give it a try. Vlive doesn't like their content moved on YT, but most of the time if their logo is covered it's okay. Run!BTS is an excellent meme-source and a great opportunity to get to know the members better from their more playful side. (Also it's free on Vlive for everyone)

I wished they would’ve told y’all that before y’all reacted to it. It's alright. It's understandable since you really wouldn't understand each scenes unless you watched their Run episodes. It's kind of hard to understand 'cause the person made a RUN BTS compilation. The episodes are available in Vlive, like you said, and they're sooooo good! For those who'd never watched before it can be confusing, but I don't know, just seeing them cracking and having fun makes me lol. Ok. Now, it can be dangerous to make a reaction on content from Vlive, but there're yt channels who still have their videos up, so I guess it's ok? If someone asks for reactions on RUN episodes, just be careful. BigHit made a full show for BTS, 'cause they were always diminished in variety shows for being from a small company and whatever salty reasons they had. So, BTS won a segment for themselves from their own company and the production it's really good! They have fun and we get special content and a good laugh everytime! Gotta love BigHit.
