So there's this fermented rice here in the Philippines called 'buro' and it is supposed to be a dip for fried eggplants, okras or fried fish. During an outing with my relatives I've mistaken it for normal rice and when I ate a spoonful of it I've never been so disgusted in my life. My family just laughed at me like I'm some kind of an idiot and from then on I hated that fermented rice lol
