Hi Jason, thanks for posting these insightful videos. I am a new learning photographer and trying to get the amazing potrait/model composition like you do. But I am struggling with this where my photos make the models end up looking shorter than they actually are. Do you have any tips for me? And, along with the exposure settings that you share of the clicks, could you please also share the focal length as well? Cheers!

I use prime lenses. So if I don’t share what lens in the images. It’s more often than not, a 50mm f1.2 or an 85mm f1.2.

I love watching your videos. What lens would you recommend for portraits? I have an APC-S mirrorless camera. Do you think a 50mm or 85mm lens?

For portraits. Maybe a 35 and a 50. The 85 on an APS-C will be close to 135. It’s a great focal length, but I’d stick with the 35 and 50.

i love you work is the best all i seen in youtube sorry for this question clarifying certain things, i see you don't use a light meter , question is how many times you shoot a photo before you get the right light exposure, is you light exposure is for a f 1.2 aperture exposure , if you were to take a light meter read your light hitting the subject what with light meter would read !!!! would it be for a f 1.2 thank you
