it’s not that the fans don’t enjoy bts’ singing, looks, or dancing. those are just the shallower ways of representing what they’ve worked for. they don’t “sing” to us, they pour out their hearts in song to us. they don’t just “look good” they want to be at the peak that their bodies can be in and are constantly insecure for us. they don’t “dance” on stage, they present an art to us that is beautiful. it’s like a crystal because it is so meticulous for the choreography to become perfect and crystallize into something extremely valuable to showcase for the world i love them

People said that BTS is nothing without their fans. I'm sad that how people are so ignorant how talented they are. Even their own country dont acknowledge them at first. We do help BTS propel their stardom at international to the point that their own country cannot ignore their success anymore nowadays. I'm really mad at how their own country at first thought BTS famous because of their look and dancing. If then all kpop groups can be famous all over the world and have such a massive and loyal fanbase like us??!! But no one except BTS right until now? From what i analyze,i found that korea care about visual at first thats why BTS at first cant catch attention at first no matter how good they are. The most good looking group are the one that capture kpop fans at first. Even after hit after hit i need you-dope-run, i see that there are no such big publicity about them in korea. Even 2016, korea still sleeping about them thats why other fandoms cant accept that they won daesang to the point they make a petition for it. Other fandoms cant accept at how group who is not all visual and from smaller company can win over their group. Compared to westerner, they love uniqueness and individual talent. They dont care that much about visual but more charming and talented qualities. BTS on the other hand got all formula for being kpop star and they add with how authentic they are and their massive social media influence. I think thats why Army is a reflection of who BTS are. I think most of us stay and loyal because of BTS music and BTS itself are so passionate about their own music. People dont understand why we are so protective and loyal for them. I guess they need to research about BTS at first like how i did myself back in 2016. After all, dont judge a book by its cover. BTS got a lot more than visual and dancing.

I think its funny how ppl try to dismiss their achievement by saying "BTS are nothing without their fans." Lmao how do they think bts got all these fans? Magic? The fans fall from sky? They have this dedicated fanbase because they EARN it. I wouldnt stan them just because of their "pretty face". The most beautiful thing about them is how real and level-headed they are. Even though they have to deal with a massive fame atm, they never forget what brought this fame upon them in the first place - ARMYs. The fans are their driving force and have been since the beginning. New people join the fandom because of their skills, dancing, singing, etc., but once they learn more about the boys they fell even harder and they can't resist BTS's charms. That's just how it is. Zuzanna Brzeszczak for real! Two different friends showed me BTS mvs like Fire and Blood Sweat and Tears. It was cool and all, but I wasn't into BTS until I watched their practice video for 21st Century Girl because that's when I saw how down to earth and funny they are! After that, I started watching lots of videos of them in game shows and their own show. That's when I started loving BTS, and a greater appreciation for their talents developed *after*. Knowing their personalities brings their art to life for me. I've never been a fangirl before, let alone make videos as one, but BTS are truly special. I hope all the new armies take the time to get to know the guys for more than just their looks and on stage performances. ✌

I'm a 27 y.o housewife who loves them so dearly. For me, it's a complicated feeling that I can't explain. Before I know BTS, I feel so tired doing my daily life as housewife. But after knowing them, it feels like they gave me a new hope and a new spirit to face a new day everyday. Seeing how they work so hard to do their best, makes me want to do my best too as a wife and mother. I remember when I first saw them on a video where they did girl group dances in weekly idol. At the time, I only recognized RM, because he's the leader and J-Hope because he's hillarious. Another member that I noticed was Jungkook because he looks so handsome and cute, also Jimin because he's so cute in that orange hair. Back then, I've never even imagined that these boys will have so much impact on my life. Sometimes, I wish that I hadn't watch that Blood, Sweat, and Tears MV because that's the video that attracts me to them. If I didn't see it, maybe I won't have this double life. But seeing how much they grow and how they have some positive effects on me, it does make me feel grateful to know them.

This may be the last time I write an essay about our hardships, at least for a while. I truly believe it's time to say goodbye to the past. I want to move on but not forget it. But yes BTS helped me to "throw away" the old me. The bad version of me. The sad one. The one who had no hope, dream, or reason to live. It's just like Namjoon said, they helped fade our pain. I still struggle. I still don't know what I want to do but I have a new perspective and point of view. I believe that if I continue growing, living, bettering myself even by an inch everyday then some day I might have something I want to do and I will have the confidence to go after it. Even if I never do then at least I lived well. That should be enough. I wore clothes I liked, listen to music I liked, was a positive entity in my environment, read books, helped others.... I cried watching this, just because I was there in the run era when they ran out of money and had ti use producers cars and thinking that they wouldn't even be avle to release the MV was heart breaking, so me being me used all the savings I had and bought multiple copies of the older albums to keep them going to keep HYYH alive and get them through to wings, honestly what I did probably made no difference at all but I'm glad I did it, Bang PD Nim is seriously one amazing man who needs an OBE or something. I just want to say that BTS deserves what they have right now. I have heard a lot of kpop songs (old and new) and have watched other kpop groups (I will not mention cause it's so many) but no one captures my attention as what BTS does. I remember my classmates way back in college who are an ARMYs. As I looked at them, they are happy watching BTS (I don't know what their watching but I know it's BTS since they keep on mentioning it) and I ask myself, what's with them (BTS) that made my classmates happy like that? Their first MV that I've watched is Boy With Luv. Honestly, I love the song and it is where it all started. I watched and listened to their songs and MVs, and I noticed that they just not doing "songs for money" but they make sure that it has story and meaning that will leave to their listeners. You can see it yourself, you might learn something. Also, they may not be as handsome as others (cause that's what most of the haters say) but I can guarantee you that they can connect to you in their performances and they really have a stage presence. In terms of the choreography, they have some easy and many hard choreos and it really fits on every song. In addition, I can feel their love and sincerity to their fans (yes, they love ARMYs so much but they can be savage too which only proves that they are real to them) And lastly, I can see how they love each other; how hard-working, humble and passionate they are; and how they can make other people laugh and be comfortable with them naturally. What's most impressive to them? They didn't give up on their dreams even though they are not so popular, they didn't have a huge fanbase, they didn't treated well by others and they can't even won awards back then. And now, I know why my classmates are so crazy to BTS, I understand where those supports are coming from and how happy they are.

I only started to really pay attention to BTs since the most beautiful moment in life part 1.When they debuted I saw their dance practices and they were really good and the lyrics were beautiful, but the music and concept were not my style and didn't think it fit their image at all. But with I need U they totally grabbed my attention music wise. After that they consistently released songs that I really liked, so I started to really like them as musicians and listen to their albums, but I wasn´t obsessed (i never got sooo obsessed with any singer, actor before in my life). But one thing is for sure when I started following them on Twitter and later on Vlive i became completely obsessed.... I just love everything about them all. Their personality, their bond is just beautiful (I have listened to KPOP for a long time and I can tell when things are forced for the camera and I think BTS has one of the most beautiful bonds I have seen.), their music, music videos, inspiring lyrics, everything... I learned about BTS when at one time I watched ABS news and Robin announced that a Kpop band (BTS) will perform their latest hit song from an album and will be holding a NY concert which was sold out. Intrigued by the news, I waited and watched their performance. As a first time viewer of anything Kpop, I was drawn not by their looks, 'moves and fashion', but the depth and meaning of their song IDOL. From the beginning, I felt that there was something unique about BTS, and I was proven right. No wonder they rose to fame. History will welcome BTS not just as trendsetters but as legends in the industry. 1st of all, thanks for making this video to let others get the chance to know why we so in love with BTS. Maybe in others view, their music is not so perfection but as to me I felt what most important quality that good music comprise should be the relatable connection to the music itself once u hear them. Feeling touching with music is just the starting point of discovery abt them not enough to make ppl so deeply involved to them. Music remind us what's element that important to us while sparing us for moment of relieving. I became an Army in the Spring of 2015. During that time, I was spending months going in and out of hospitals, ER rooms, and getting different treatments that were both painful and scary. BTS was the ONLY thing that got me through it all. They're music and videos put a smile on my face when no one else could, even during the painful procedures, and the depression and anxiety, that plagued me during those months. I want to sincerely thank you for making this video, because you put into words the gratitude and happiness that I continue to feel whenever I hear one of their songs, thank you!

This video speaks almost all the reasons why I love BTS. I’m quite new to BTS. At first I was interested to find out more because they made waves in the amas, plus they are a bunch of good looking guys with awesome performance. What’s not to like, right? But when i dig deeper, I got to know their stories behind, their personalities, how they started etc .. I just fell in love with them. I wish them all the success in the world. This is so beautiful! Well done! I love that strong connection that we have with bts and that I have with you army. I never felt this with other bands and I'm also crazy about them, but this is a whole other thing. Okay, I say also that 1d (yes, one of the other bands) is my family and so, but with bts I feel that strong connection and I see them as my family, my brothers. I can't hear them or see them for a long time, because I have the feeling that I miss something. With 1d for example, I didn't hear their music for months and it's not like I miss it. With bts, it's just a few hours and then I miss it. They give me (us) the love that I need and that's one of the things why I love them so much and can't live without them. I love it how they love us so much. The connection between us and them is what my life have changed in a good thing. they saved me❤

at first when i was not an army i always thought "why are bts globally famous? they're not really that handsome" (i know that was sick of me).. i ignore everything recommendations abt bts on youtube.. then one day on billboard day 2018.. one of my country's famous young singer go to the billboard and post a vid abt bts performance fake love on his insta story.. and i feel more curious abt them why are they so famous until they got into billboard.. i watch their performance fake love on youtube and i feel "wow! the heck is this!!?" honestly their performance hit me and i fall in love with their song and performance.. its like their song really pierced me deep and i got goosebump also.. so i search more abt them and found their hardships before they got on top.. i feel so impressed and touched.. everything they did really inspire me especially yoongi the one who plays a big role in producing their songs.. (i really hate my past self who thinks bts are nothing)

Remember when they just started in a small company and they went up to the top. Lot of people said at first that bts is talentless and not good. Other people told them that Jimin was ugly and fat, but Jimin starve just for people to not bully him. Jung kook who saved his parents in a very young age. I can't stop crying. I love them because of the messages they spread with their music. I love them because I know how much hard work and dedication they've put in. I love them for overcoming their hardships. I love them for who they are as people. They proved to me that music comes without barriers that despite cultural differences that despite language differences I can still connect with something because I know how it makes me feel. They have helped me in the darkest points of my life. I remember seeing the video of V talking about his grandmother shortly after my grandmother died. He showed me that it's ok to cry but it also let me know that I had supportive people like Jimin who I could lean on in hard times. I think I have mild depression and when I listen to AGUST D's The Last it reminds me that Suga went through something similar and that I can pull strength from him. They give me the courage to keep fighting for what I believe in. They have made an amazingly positive impact on my life. I am so proud to an army. ❤️

In a way, saying "BTS is nothing without ARMY" makes sense. I mean, name me an artist who made it big without support and strong fan base. BUT a success of an artist is a two-way street! An artist must be truely good for them to gain supporters. In exchange for being excellent, people would start to acknowledge and love them. As they said, popularity goes beyond talent. I think it has something to do with appeal. The artists ability to connect and relate with people. I think talent is no issue, because KPOP world has so many talented groups and individuals. So if BTS is more popular than the artist you admire, please dont ask and compare the two. It just means, more people finds BTS relatable.

And i got interested in them searching for mv at first , dance practices, and other contents. I was so surprised at their abilities and good personalities and popularities abroad. They were not shown on korean television very often .Now i think that's because BTS belongs to a small company which had little power over the broadcasting system from the start. Why I love BTS ? Thats the only question I would get from every anti . "I love them bcuz they prove to me that if we worked hard we will achieve in what we want.They also prove that friendship is true love . They inspired me to be myself . I know i'm proud to be an army and whenever somebody asks me who my favorite artist is, I proudly say that I am an army with bts. when they ask why I like their music if I can't understand it, I ask them why don't they. you don't need to understand the music to like it. you can understand the feeling behind the music and feel what they are feeling.
