I think Kazunoko may have left a little bit of damage on the table for the combo at 22:04 to nearly finish Gotenks. Regardless though, Yamcha deserves a damage buff. They obviously built the character around Wolf Fang Fist (WFF), but EVERY version of WFF has ABSURD scaling. Furthermore, all of the WFF rekka is reactable and easy to punish. The absurd scaling on WFF could be kinda justified if opponents had to choose between taking the mix or getting punished, but you can just mash any time Yamcha crosses during the rekka or uses M. That's why Kazunoku only used L version of WFF --> to back off to keep LLL safe on block. Yamcha needs help.

LOOK INTO IT I said absolutely nothing about Yamcha assist. So you're statement doesn't relate to mine at all. I agree Yamcha has one of the best assists in the game, but that in no way justifies his horrible damage. Look at SS Goku. He has an assist as good as Yamcha's AND some of the best damage in the game. If you're insinuating reducing scaling of his on screen scaling means his assist will make other characters get damage that is too strong, that's definitely not the case. Any combo done after an assist already gets scaled down, so there would be no significant change (if any at all). They can choose to adjust the on screen version of a move while leaving the assist untouched. We've already seen that will all the adjustments they've made to Krillins.

Jeremy Jones if they ever buffed yamcha it would be with a grain of salt because his assist isnt like gokus or vegetas its actually the best in the game for everything (extensions/strings/answers)

LOOK INTO IT Your claim that it's the best in the game is completely subjective. Certain assists are better for certain teams based on assist/character synergy. Yamcha's assist has its flaws, despite it's overall fantastic utility. Its quick startup and minimal length make it bad for teams looking to get off multiple supers; Vegeta or Goku would better serve such a team. There is no "best assist" in this game. There's arguably a top 3 or top 5, and the overall benefit of each assist is contingent on the team's makeup.

Jeremy Jones when you boil it down everything is subjective but the fact stands that you can't tell me one single situation where its inferior to any other assist. Only flaw i can think of, is that you have to play Yamcha to use it.

Damn kazunoko was so close lol, this match was clear proof that even against small characters gohan is still a threat,almost all of these games gohan (with yamcha assist ) was literally doing all the work, this is why I still believe GO1 should go back to gohan lol

captaintorch123 Kazunoko’s whole team is centered around gohan though. I think the reason GO1 dropped him was because he doesn’t wanna be that reliant on a single character. Like in Leffen’s match against GO1, GO1 just spent all his resources to touch of death Android 21 and put Leffen up against the wall multiple times. Leffen managed to claw it back once or twice but it was rough. The games Kazunoko lost in this set were the ones where Gohan got KO’d quick without accomplishing much

Yes vanish is safe after block(except if you are in the air) but he did a dragon rush just after. Thiis is why is lose;Dragon rush take time and fast attaque win in that case.

Balance the game, we are bored about watching "Cell, Kid Buu, Bardock, Black..." always the same characters, if you want to win, you MUST get one of this characters. The game will die if doesnt changes. For example, Teen Gohan is the best character in DBZ Saga and is the worst character in this game, Brkrdave was using Teen Gohan and finally dropped for Cell and now he wins tournaments. BALANCE THE GAME. NOW.
