If a team has more possession, more chances on goal, more corners, a bloody PENALTY, plays the final 33 minutes with a man advantage, and STILL cannot manage a single goal, that team deserves to lose. Any sporting contest turns on hundreds of tiny events. Crying about an unflagged offside when any number of examples of proper execution by Rangers might have turned the match in their favor, is childish and myopic. That said, it would be unfair of me not to acknowledge that Christian did appear a half step offside - but it wasn't nearly as egregious in real time as Rangers would have the world believe. In the end, who cares? If it had gone to penalties without that goal (likely), Celtic would have won anyway.

Won’t lie and say Morelos’ statistics aren’t impressive, but Rangers fans are lying to themselves if they act like his form against us doesn’t eat them alive. We all know that strikers of Celtic and Rangers are judged massively by their ability to score against one another. Larsson wouldn’t be nearly as much of a Celtic legend had he not stopped Rangers winning 10IAR and scored a multitude of brilliant goals against them, Ally McCoist would not be nearly as adored had he not scored a ridiculous amount of goals against Celtic. Morelos could score 100 goals a season, he will always be criticised for his inability to keep the head in the biggest game on the Rangers’ calender.

Dominated but then a few players resorted to cheap dirty tactics. Morelos should've been sent off multiple times he was caught playing for a foul and diving. Ref had a shocker, rangers got away with a lot more than Celtic in terms of breaking the rules. Celtic got lucky that Lennon stuck Édouard on the pitch on the hour. Also julliens goal looked offside but a view from the other side of the pitch could've showed a rangers players foot being level with julliens, however we never had the opportunity to look from the different angle. Either way ref was rubbish and Celtic got lucky, I was screaming for the whole 90 minutes. Rangers are most definitely back. We need to improve again and buy another quality CF who can hold the play and dribble!
