That charged upsmash at the very end by Dark Wizzy was safe on block so either Light threw that upsmash not knowing if it would hit, or he misinput the upsmash and Wizzy baited it out. Mario’s upsmash not charged can be punished with a quick oos option, but once it has a little bit of charge it becomes safe on block. Neat little mechanic :)

Too much spaghetti from light at the end. He missed the confirm to upsmash. Missed the gimr tech chase with upsmash when he had the right read. Misplaced the upsmash punish...honestly can’t call this anything but a huge choke from light.

Watch it again in slomo. Fox is underpowered in this game. Wizzy spams usmash like crazy. Its completely safe. Comes out at frame 9, covers marios back; doesnt kill early but def. works, doesnt trade cuz head invincibility during active frames (aka disjoint). Mario also has a 3 frame nair (fox's nair startup is 4frames), which is just as safe. Mario has grab combos, better EG, 2frame, OOS AND recovery options options. Mario's uthrow combos at 0 and dthrow combos at mid%. Fox doesnt have grab combos. Mario can DA at the ledge, for consistency and try to fsmash downwards, for kill power, also relatively hard to punish (fox has dtilt, which is kinda safe but super inconsistent. Dsmash 2 frames as well, but its unsafe AF). Mario has a 3 frame invincible upB for top tier level OOS option. Upsmash to cover his back and kill. Dair to get combos OOS at frame 5(8 with jumpsquat) nair (if u want to use it? Either way frame 6) Fox has terrible rolls, oos nair comes out at f7, upsmash is 8frames but its too risky (light lost because of it). Not to mention mario having a projectile, having more range than fox and being heavier. If the opponent shields, fox is forced to overcommit. Ur literally conditioning him by defending, cuz grab is too much risk for no reward. I hate this game. I dont know if i want to drop fox or this game entirely
