6:40 ZSS Dair and Jiggs Sing cant clank because sing doesnt have a hitbox that can clank with any other hitbox. There would only be 2 options: Dair hits while being airborne and sing misses, or the Dair hits while landing on the ground while trading with sing, so ZSS sleeps and Jiggs falls to death or needs to tech immediately

Yeah, it's love for the character as well as the fact that your audience associates the character with you. If you switch completely and it's clear you did it for winning, there's a decent chance that your audience will support you and an equally decent chance that you'll be seen as a greedy sellout. Peanut plays Mac because 1. he is one of the best Macs and 2. People love watching him play Mac. It's really not about winning tournaments because people know that there are some much better players than them (e.g. hbox could never beat leo, I'm guessing), so it becomes about enjoying the game and putting up a good show for an audience

Paying into a competitive video game doesn't pay real life dividends unless you're a content creator or winning tournaments. The thing is that Hbox is a great player, but his biggest problem is that he keeps playing Puff as if its Melee Puff. Basemage plays Puff how she should be played in Ultimate. I think Juan just really needs to play her a lot more like how she actually works in Ultimate rather than Melee

You can 100% punish sing on shield, the commentators are wrong lol. The reason most players don't do it in tournament is that the risk is rarely worth the reward, since mistiming your punish means you lose your stock 99% of the time.

If only the commentators knew how garbage Sing actually is. You don't have to hold your shield the whole time at all. It has 3 hitboxes that last like 3 frames each during the entire 100+ frame move, with like over 20 on end lag to punish it. It's dookie. Only good for covering platform missed techs/rolls/neutral get-ups. Loses to get-up attack. Or niche things like moves with hurtboxes coming before hitboxes
