What the above people said combined The first few frames of Yoshi's shield animation (and only Yoshi's) have true invincibility, which negates all hitstun and damage while still putting the attacker into hitstun for 'landing' the move. This is the parry Totas was talking about. Yoshi's double jump also has a weird sort of armor. I don't fully understand it myself, but Smashwiki says it cancels the knockback and hitstun of attacks that hit Yoshi up to a threshold (but doesn't cancel damage).

Yoshi has super armor or heavy armor on double jump. There’s a knock back threshold to break it, but if a moves knockdown is low enough, he doesn’t move.

I'd have to mute the set if I had to listen to commentary constantly yelling and hyping up the same plays every single tournament. Play by play is not necessary, they are still reacting to what is happening on screen and they got hyped plenty of times.

Puff def wins this mu 😂. You just can't rest cheese him off throws and uptilts. But puffs giant backair, multihit drill, and shield stun setups make this puff favor. Amsa is just exploiting hbox for his habits. Infact hbox got better at this mu. In the past he lost horribly. Since he only really rest cheeses, he tried to do it to Amsa and got bodied. My man is capeable of winning tourneys but gets the worst bracket luck out of anyone since Genesis while Jmook doesn't have to play him. Imagine having to go through aMSa in top 16, cody in semis and plup in wf to even make grands. Remember that aMSa only wins tourneys where he doesn't have to face Plup while Hbox makes atleast Top 3 when Zain or Cody aren't there. Cody also only won tourneys where he didn't have to face mang0 or Aklo like this one in the last 12 months while getting Plup and Hbox who he is favored against in this bracket. Getting to LSI and Scuffed World Grands is washed ig.
