In summary, just avoid your exes, avoid those "friends" that didn't grow at the same pace as you and shame you for changing your ways and avoid those "colleagues" that put gossip over work. Be wise, brothers. You're better than all that.

That's exactly what I'm trying to get away from now. The only wrench in that gear is some of those people include my wife's best friend and that idiotic lives playing a game of who's best at mediocrity. It's a fools game to climb up moron mountain, because it only goes down.

1: Cut narcissists/toxic people out of your life 2: Cut narcissism and toxic traits out of your own character 3: Take 100% accountabillity of your own actions 4: Have people around you who are also accountable 5: Social minimalism as in the video is highly important. That is keep inventory on people in your life. Just let the toxic people go. Don`t make drama, just let them fade away. If they don`t have respect of your boundarys then simply don`t take the phone, or answer them online

I cut my best friend of 10 years out of my life this year after he made the decision to get violent over a political disagreement. In addition to (trying) to hurt me he also accused me of some truly vile, disgusting, and unfounded things. The truth is that the warning signs of a weak man were always there. I just chose to ignore them because he was a good friend. People’s true colours will eventually reveal themselves. Be very careful with who you let into your inner circle.

Sounds like you made a very smart decision to drop this so-called friend like he was a stinking fish! Getting violent over a political disagreement and making vile, unfounded accusations against you - unforgivable!

@Jack, I hear you. One of my best friends of 10 years stabbed me in the back and I cut him off. I also ignored the red flags but when the shit hit the fan his true colors came out and I just cut him off. It’s been 3 years, and I’m glad I cut him off. Power to you bro!

I had to cut off a :friend' when I casually mentioned I liked some of the things Trump did, then she threw a hissy fit full of virtue signalling. When someone does that it means brainwashing and fanaticism. Real people are ok with other beliefs, because they know people are what's important, not politics, not propaganda.

Pretty much anybody that exhibits cluster B personality disorders (narcissism, BPD, sociopaths..etc) especially in the workplace. They can derail your career. I discovered it through my ex girlfriend but now I see it in my own work, the guy trying to throw you under the bus or undermine you for no reason at all just to get ahead even if you’re on the same team. Overtime you should learn red flags in people (not just women)....

I met a friend in middle school, back in 1998. He introduced me to skateboarding. I really got into skateboarding and even borrowed my neighbors' skateboard several times before I finally got my own. This friend of mine came over and met my mom,my younger sister and my older brother (my dad was no longer living with us). He invited me over and I met his aunt, uncle, cousins and nephews (his mom had recently passed away due to cancer). We soon became inseparable. He missed his mom,and I missed my dad. I thought we had something in common that made us understand each other better than others ever could. His dad became an alcoholic after the loss, and I don't blame him. Losing a loved one is difficult to deal with. One Saturday morning, I was over at his house looking for him. As I approached the door, he stormed out and his dad was drunk and yelled at him. I said "what's goin' on?" and as he wiped his tears,he told me "come on,let's get tf out of here" We were skating down the main street as we talked. I said "what happened?" He said "my dad, just being a drunk A-hole." We arrive at our favorite hamburger joint called 'Happy's Hamburgers.' "I just asked my dad for some money to get something to eat and he was drunk as usual and just went off on me." I said "He lost your mom,I can't blame your pops". We grew up hanging out every day throughout middle school and high school. We double-teamed a girl that was our age and lived in his apartment complex,we ditched school together,we were like brothers. He told me many times "you know that you're like my brother mf." He actually proved that by putting me ahead of his real brother on a few occasions, which his brother hated,so I believed him. After high school, we spent less time together but we stayed in touch. Then the red flags began to sprout. His brother tried getting at my girl behind my back and even though he knew,he didn't tell me. I had a couple of hamsters that he killed, burned and buried in my backyard. Torturing animals for pleasure is a huge red flag. One day, he asked to borrow $350 usd because he was "short on rent" and I let him borrow the money. I didn't hear from him for 2 years. He suddenly shows up in a brand new car,he promised to pay me back and I said "no worries, man. Whenever you get the money" We had been talking about getting motorcycles for over a year and then we decided to visit a dealership. Turns out he had no credit, but my credit was good enough to get 2 bikes. When the dealer rep told us that,I looked over at him and said "if I get it for you,are you going to be responsible?" And he said "mf you know me." I got him the bike. He seemed so happy and thankful. 6 months later,he let a friend ride it. That guy totalled the bike and broke 2 ribs. My "friend" vanished and left me paying $13,500 usd for the bike (it was financed). 3 years later,he called me out-of-the-blue. He wanted to get together and catch up. I declined. He never offered to pay me for it,he didn't keep his word and that was the last time I talked to him (2022). So much for that 20 year-old friendship, huh? I thought we would be friends for life, but like my mom always says, "with friends like that, who needs enemies?"

9:40 is scary to me, because the only people I'm around these days I generally don't look up to. That isn't to say there is nothing I can learn from them (that certainly isn't the case) but there are plenty of life mistakes they haven't avoided that I better. My parents both started with only £15 between them, living in a dump council estate in a rough end of London with my older sister in tow. They both built a family together and are now proud owners of a house, mortgage-free. A man would have to be extremely lucky to be able to meet a woman like that in this day and age. To be supportive and loyal during rough times as well as the good. If that isn't a virtue, then I don't know what is.

Regarding #1, the liar. I once dated a woman that told everybody she dated John Mayer before he became famous. A simple google search for the timeline proved her wrong, and I never believed her. But my sister made the best comment. "If she dated John Mayer, what is she doing with you? I love you, but you're also unemployed. If she's able to date all these celebrities, why is she knocking at your door?" FYI, I was unemployed at the time but since I kicked her out of my life, I made huge gains and now make more money than i ever have and have no issues. My stock is continuously going up. This is a great list. Love your content. Keep doing the work!

@@dunzy1825 without going too far into details, it lasted over a year and I was lead on, used, etc. There were other lies that came out after the fact. After I had enough, I kicked her out of my life and she's tried several times to get back in. All ending in a big NOPE for her. She even contacted my sister to help her in getting me back. That wasn't a smart move. She was a piece of work and screwed herself over. I refuse to let someone like that back in my circle. I am grateful every day I got out of that situation. It really opened my eyes to hypergamy and all that. I agree man, lucky indeed.

I personally disagree with the bad choice one. People make some bad choices, which could change their life financially and thats unfortunate. Its a different story if they are consistently doing it and not taking ownership and changing it. I do think though that if you have a friend who made a bad choice financially etc that you stand by them and help them out/steer them in the right direction if needed. Don't ditch them and get rid of them as it says a lot about you as an individual then. Let's not get this confused with someone who consistently makes bad choices and is a burden on your life though. Just my two cents.

Kind of a conundrum; if people better off than you are hanging out with you - then they're the 'bad choices' type - as people shouldn't hang out with people worse off than them. So the 'bad choices' is actually a good thing if the person is better off than you in life - because otherwise, you'd never have access to those doing better.

It's apparent to me that most people are toxic. I've lived in the same area most of my Life (15 years, and I'm 21) and I live in a city called Hampstead, NC. It's not the most populated area ( population: 5,717), but decent. Everyone I know has addiction issues. Either weed or alcohol daily, and some even heroine and opiates but, I don't allow the heavy addicts into my space even remotely. There isn't a "friend" that I have that is healthy, in shape, and financially stable. The closest friend to that deals marijuana in large quantities, but that's it. I'm staying focused on me, I've only been adopting the Red Pill methods for a year now, and I can feel and see the polarization. It'll be a "lonely" road, but, what's loneliness when I have myself to look after? I've always had Red Pill tendencies when it comes to feeling that I need to distance myself from everyone but I've never begun to understand, until this past year. Yes, because of a breakup. Before, I always thought it was me who needed to adopt more acceptable behavior and "fit in". People pleaser tendencies. I'm currently working towards deleting that mode of behavior and establishing more self-respect and dignity, along with many other lessons beyond those main two points. Your videos have been a great help, I've watched many of them. Thank you Rich!

There's 2 types of brains, those that can grasp logic - and those that can't. Those that can't (primarily females, and new age males raised by females) feel, instead of think. Why does this matter? Because feelers only know their emotions. Ergo - they're never genuinely lying. This is why you'll never really hear 'liar' applied to a woman. - As far as females are concerned, she was honest that Tuesday when she said she loved you - and she was honest on Wednesday when she said she loved the other guy. This is why Rich says 'it's all about right now with them',. and to take it with a grain of salt. They forever honor their feelings, and feelings are fleeting. - The logical, on the other hand, know they're lying - when they're lying. These are the people who you might be able to catch signs from. But if you're trying to figure 'how to know when a chick means what she says', they always mean what they say, it's just what they say has no permanent basis. Their words are meaningless. Best simply to go off their actions. - The best overall way to avoid being the victim of both - is never put yourself in a position to have to rely on anyone. It's always your fault when you get burned. Always. Go through life with that realization, and you'll be rock solid.

@Path Finder My grandma used to say, 'the world can only hang you if you give it enough rope'. - I used to think like you. It is a never ending parade of being disappointed by people. Writing off people after people - for the simple fact they are humans, and will always move based upon incentives. - If you want to be able to count on someone to come through for a particular situation, you better make sure the incentives are reinforcing that wanted outcome. - Now that the realization has set in, that every time I have been 'let down' - it was because I opened myself up to be let down, 'surprise surprise' - it has never happened again. And now I have acquaintances by the 100s, to which I'll never have to 'write off' because they'll never be in a position to 'let me down'; because I put too much faith in 'magical forces' that would somehow make them 'superhuman relationships' should incentives shift.

@Path Finder I genuinely like all the people I know - or I don't know them. They all genuinely like me, or they don't know me. That is the only prerequisite. - Your 'meaningful relationships' are predicated on what others will do for you, when your emotions demand it, or they are 'not worthy of your presence'. - In the end, I'll be fine. You'll forever be let down. It's your life. To each his own.

@Path Finder If you only knew. lol I have whole clans. The guy who is always there for all of them, never asking for anything in return. Armies, friend. Armies. But now we're treading into territory where you would have to 'trust' my words, and I'd never expect such. Tell yourself whatever you have to. I was just giving advice. Take it or leave it. My guess is it struck home for a reason. You don't want to face the fact you probably wrote off people you really enjoyed - for expectations that no man would have ever fulfilled. But now that's just me guessing, like you are. This back-and-forth has reached it's climax. I shall head home and take a shower. You have a good one.

well said Rich...I would add the need to reflect personally on each of these items. Are you exhibiting any of these traits? Are you one of these people? I guess I always knew that I have some of these traits but listening to this was hard but galvanizing. Time to get to work.

I've been drinking a half gallon every 2 days of Crown Royal. Been doing doing this or the last 4.months.. I haven't drank in 4 days and don't plan on it again. I put on 20lbs and hate waking up in a fog and my guts hurting.

Be very careful man. If you were that dependent on alcohol, quitting cold turkey can lead to withdrawals that can be life threatening. Just wanted to give a heads up, as delirium tremens can manifest typically 3-5 days after your last drink. Go to the ED if necessary. Stay safe.

Definitely check out the ED if you have to. A lot of mental illness/depression is linked to alcohol. I was the let's get drinks guy and before I knew it I was drinking about. 1/5 every few days by myself. I stopped six years and half ago. Smoking was really bad for me too. I stopped through hypnosis over two years and $4,000.00 later.

@@edwardduarte7393 I appreciate your words. I am lucky enough to not smoke or things of that nature. My problem for drinking is not enough hobbies and boredom. I am one of those people that need to be insanely busy from the time I wake up until the time I go to sleep. Even as an alcoholic, I am high functioning alcoholic. It is an uphill battle whether sober or not.
