BTT# 68 - How Men Jeopardize Relationships & Get Dumped

Күн бұрын

Most men start off in a strong frame, early in relationships, then through a process of betatization by 1,000 concessions, he becomes unattractive to his girlfriend or wife.
Maintaining frame is paramount to a strong LTR, and most men get it wrong
Some areas I'll cover include, but aren't limited to:
- Inviting a problem woman into your life
- Becoming 'exclusive' fast
- Not spinning plates, or bringing up 'where do we stand' before she does
- Saying 'yes' too often, and not saying 'no' enough
- Failing her shit tests
- Being too needy
- Lacking in conventional male competency skills
- Not enforcing boundaries with male friends & social media
- Getting involved with a woman higher than your own SMV
- Letting the alpha widow enter your relationship
- Making her your everything
- Losing contact with his friends, and hobbies

R N -My parents had a love marriage, an overall stable and respectful relationship I would say but I guess he learned way early in life before my mother about a woman’s primal nature. There have been countless examples of men even I have seen....where the guy gets destroyed by his woman as soon she finds a better option... or any rough times fall on him.
@Son-of-Krypton
@Son-of-Krypton 4 жыл бұрын
R N - I do agree. It seems if situation is reverse can you really blame the woman for dumping a man off his purpose and not able to provide ? So many men put their goals/purpose secondary to the women hoping to please her ? That’s a bad idea.

More truth from Rich. Gradual beta’ization is the story of my failed marriage. I went from alpha to skimping beta over the course of several years until she had zero respect for me. I gave more and more of myself in an ever inflating covert contract. Prior to my marriage my most successful relationships were the ones where I gave the least fox’s. Maintaining frame is all important. I hope guys will find this info before a LTR or marriage.

Diana Lee The Point the boyfriend or husband is trying to make by sending the text is to see the guys intentions not the girlfriend/wife. If the woman is attractive even more chances the guy will try at some point to make a move. Unless the guy is gay we can argue that he will not. Bottom line: Friendship among opposite genders is very difficult if any or both parts have significant others. Either physical or emotional attraction can develop through time. I am sure that if there were some statistics, we could make a bet. Cheers 🥂

When I got involved with my current wife, SHE was the one who asked for us to be exclusive. When I proposed, she was actually on the verge of dumping me because I wasn't willing to commit... the irony of the night I proposed was we were on a romantic getaway, I was trying to convince her to go to a fine dining experience and she was saying she wasn't feeling it because I was being very non-commital... and even though I intended to propose at this restaurant, I was doubling down even though it wasn't where I was at anymore so I wouldn't spoil the surprise.😂 One point I did wrong in my first marriage, my ex had trust issues and after 4 years, she started accusing me of cheating. I had actually been around less and been very secretive because I was working overtime to buy the engagement ring. The night I proposed, I did it a month sooner than intended because she started accusing Mr of cheating and I wanted to show her she was wrong. On one hand, it worked because it squashed the accusations and made her feel like an ass... on the other hand, to not have that trust after 4 years, I should have just shown her the ring, then tossed her ass on the street and went looking for someone who actually deserved it. 😂😂😂 One thing I have always loved about my current wife, is I never had to tell her I didn't want her talking to other men. In fact, I told her I didn't care. I told her I trusted her until I had reason not to. For context, the discussion started because she got jealous I spoke to another woman and tried to say I would feel the same whenI told her I didn't find the jealousy to be an attractive trait. She actually shows me when men try to contact her on social media and how she's blocking them.

@burtarrieta5956
@burtarrieta5956 4 жыл бұрын
@@raresabraleaks8216 somewhat true. Women will put up with wife beaters, cheaters, and guys who don't "celebrate" anniversaries and such. Doesn't mean they're happy. Women will tolerate a man they're attracted to. Men will tolerate a women they're attracted to. This is why why nice guys can't transition into women tolerating them. This is also why men accept monogamy, get married, buy unnecessary things, and all kinds of other humiliating crap. They simply can't say no. They would rather self sacrifice then inconvenience themselves or women in any way. Some people would call this a zero sum game. Somebody needs to get the worst of it. Every once and a while there's a give and take that benefits both parties, but this is the exception not the rule.
@1gregmoreira
@1gregmoreira 3 жыл бұрын
Burt Arrieta if a dude is beating on his spouse or forgetting everything important or cheating (in the scenario where it was specifically agreed upon that they’re in a monogamous relationship)....then he is unhappy. Who knows what is driving his unhappiness, but happy and secure men don’t beat up women. The fact that she may stay should not be taken as an indication that either party is happy. I stand by the original quote. If the man is happy....actually happy.....both parties are happy The reason why men accept monogamy is because we are built to serve. Our identities are based on what we can do and what we can provide. This is the reason why men will stand on the front lines of a ground war, knowing that they’ll probably die seconds after the two armies collide. We couldn’t and wouldn’t do that if we weren’t built for it. We wrap our identities around our service Being a husband used to be a noble path. The act of being a husband becomes an identity for men, and that’s why male suicide skyrockets after divorce where female suicide doesn’t. We often lose our whole identity as a result of divorce if we gave up most of ourselves in favor of being what we think is a good husband.

Every female I know wants a man to actually lead in a masculine way. Not play games, manipulate and try to break her spirit like these dudes attempt to do. Jeeezus 😮. These men are NOT (yep I said NOT) loved by their women. They appeal only to her superficial EGO and competitive nature. They do not have the heart of sweet feminine woman. And they KNOW IT. That is why they keep playing games in order to keep her. So it all comes down to what you want. To have her heart, loyalty, respect and love. Or a woman you subconsciously know is NOT that into you so you have to play games like this in order to keep her around. Terrible. A genuinely masculine confident man takes the lead by asking her to be his, proving he’s invested in her and proving over time that he is serious about her.. If he doesn’t he loses her every single time because she will think you don’t care about her. Some of the tactics these guys teach are meh not too bad. But a lot of them would brutally crush a sweet feminine woman and she would slowly back away or leave pretty quick devastated.

I really appreciate Rich for the "burlap sack" analogy regarding baggage. We all carry our own. Sometimes we walk into a room and put it down by the corner for a short time, only to pick it back up on our way out. That gave me flashbacks to all the baggage I've carried over the years and having been unable to leave it for good. Hearing Rich say that opened my eyes. I used to question why we mull over baggage over and over again, long after it happened to us. I thought there was something to learn if we couldn't let it go. Thank you, Rich. We have to let go of that which no longer serves us. And much of this baggage hasn't served us in many many years.

I worry that me not initiating that talk may have caused me to lose a girl that I really liked and was considering for an LTR, but of course the flipside of that is clearly if she wasn't into me enough to bring it up herself, the relationship would never have lasted or if it did would not be one worth having as a guy. Really enjoy your posts! I now realize I am naturally alpha. I married my wife in 2005, and have been slowly betatized. I watched my job performance suffer, I watched her interest in me fade. I was constantly put on the back burner for different things. When I came to her and said that I felt neglected, and I need her to hold me, I got no affection… I wasn’t looking for sex, just non sexual physical touch!! A few days later, I told her that I cry every day from the lack of affection. Her answer was that maybe we needed to get a divorce. That crushed me! I walked into the bedroom, she came in there and told me, as a person that cares about me, maybe divorce was right. I went through all sorts of hell in my mind, and found peace in a life long friend of mine… that is also a female. Now my wife has always loved me, I’m the only man that she will ever want.. etc… I see my true value, I know that it’s ok for me to be happy doing things I want, building cars, fishing, and all the cool guy stuff that I stopped doing when I got married. Thank you for posting these videos so other guys know they have value!

One that is like a learning skill like Boxing or learning Guitar. The Other like sport/going to the gym. Budget your money. A woman is a complement to your life. They have to basically try to turn you into the BF, while you are interacting with other women. That means that the woman is saying "where is this going", towards you. She has to be very affectionate and be able to hold and create a conversation with you. The man should be well-groomed and dressed sharp and looking like they are going to a gym or at least fit.

I'm...just...tired of these games, you know? I don't wanna wait x time to try getting closer to a person. I don't wanna overcalculate whether I should say yes or no this time to going out I don't wanna play power dynamics to look interesting. I don't wanna have to check whether or not I need to rethink my relationship choices every 2 hours. Just, what the fuck happened to empathy and being an understanding person, man? I just want to be myself, have a partner to trust and that can trust me, that I can help move forward and so help me move forward in return. Every relationship up to this point has just been a search...leading up to that point... I hope I get there one day...

I have also done what you say not to do with women. I feel like you are sharpening my tool belt of knowledge and has helped me navigate when my wife starts testing me. I see my wife change afterwards and actually starts feeling like she needs me more(she actually says this).

That betatization process phenomenon is indeed probably a real thing, I fell into that twice in my life. I see 2 reasons. One is insecure women. The second it's me man itself. I develop here those two reasons. Women often crave for security and have fear of abandonment. Craving of security make them look for strong men but it's a lot more complex than that I believe. They first look for a strong man then fear that their high value will make them look for other women. So their way to prevent this is to start that "betatization process". Very typical will be for a women to isolate their man, to make it difficult for them to socialize. Women often are champions at emotional manipulation to obtain what they want or simply to have power. And isolated man is an easy manipulated man. Second reason being the man itself in the way that, to a man, the presence of a woman can be softening. Like a surrogate mother with all the confort and softness that a woman provides. It's no wonder that the spartans in antiquity were taking the young boys away from their mother at the young age of 7 to make warriors out of them. They feared rightfully that women would soften them up too much.

Becoming an uncle led me to an epiphany about women. The God's honest truth is they are very similar to children and if you look at them that way it's so much easier to deal with them. All the things that the red pill reaches about how women test men and crave attention and validation etc. These are all things that apply to children. Children constantly shit test their parents and push their boundaries to see what they can get away with. They're not doing it to be malicious it's just hard wired into them to do it because it's how they learn. And if you don't set clear boundaries with children and follow through with discipline and tough love they will spot that weakness and take full advantage of it and they will behave badly as a result. And if a child is misbehaving do you blame the child? No, you blame the parents for allowing them to misbehave. Same thing with women. Don't hate women for being what they are. They are dependent creatures by nature which means everything they do is based on how we act and what we tolerate so if women are behaving badly then it is our fault as men for allowing it

Thank you stating that women are not after money, but someone who can take of the needs when they happen. What made me decide that my boyfriend is someone I want to keep around long term is when my car battery died and I had to go to work, he came over jumped the battery for me. I had a need he took care of it. I know I can rely him. If I have to change the flat on your car, it doesn't matter how much money you have in the bank.

Pretty newly red pilled honestly and still in the process of deprogramming (most of the way through rational male part 1 and have the 48 laws of power queued up next). I am/was the poster child for blue pilled beta and while it was a bitter pill to swallow I didn't experience this reluctance to consider the message. I was in a 10 year relationship that I thought I was doing everything right in because of feminized programming (raised by a single mother who fed me all that good guy, jby bullshit without a man in my life to coach and guide me) that ended seemingly out of left field (I can see everything I did wrong and all the signs I ignored in retrospect) and the red pill message just immediately felt intuitively correct and it was more of a revalation; like someone showed me this whole time I was supposed to wear my underwear inside my pants and nobody ever bothered to tell me about it. It's been painful for me to accept but it was not difficult and once I actually LOOKED at the message and compared behaviors I've done and seen my entire life seeing all of these things snap right into place and I recognized that despite all the gnashing of teeth red pill is actually the bitter truth. Last week I was wrapped up in a scarcity mindset with serious oneitis and this week I am on the page of disregarding women to work on myself till I'm in a position where women want to chase ME and I'm never chasing anyone nor will I commit to exclusivity with anyone unless they are a unicorn (lol yeah right). Those of you out there that haven't yet taken the red pill and feel some kinda way about it... Read a few books, look at the message, carefully consider your experiences and how women have responded to "nice guys" and "bad boys". Focus on yourself, spin plates, never chase, don't fuck with anyone that doesn't consider you a top choice and never be exclusive and you'll be so much happier in today's feminized society.

This is really good advice for women as well! Don’t stop talking or seeing other men until a commitment is made. But, I will tell you I just walked out last night on my main dude, because he plays this to much. Our time together should be about wooing each other. Enjoying each other. If you act like your the prize and I should be chasing you, instantly unattractive! My advice to men....don’t over play this hand. My time and effort is valuable, too! I rather spend it in the company of mutual respect and admiration. If I feel my effort is not valued, then I will take it some place else.

Hi if i may comment.. i agree on this. I believe what women can do is to let the man take responsibility.. many men didnt get role models of highly responsible and leader type man figures. I can only imagine the waves of role reversals if these are not correctly aligned. I used to think role reversed partners/marriages 100% of the time does not work but in case of my aunt and uncle, even if my aunt has stronger personality and high academic background, it worked for them and they raise excellent kids. I believe what my aunt did is leave the final say to my uncle and allow him make and learn from his own mistakes. Now this would be very difficult for most women because it would present them to either imagined or real risks. But bottom line, if man doesnt learn this by making his own mistakes while being supported with his partner, this will become a cycle and leave the man emasculated and woman deeply unsatisfied in the long term in home leadership. I have observed women can do alot and multitask most often better than men. But when too much pressure is piled up, women come to their men to seek emotional support. If woman does not see this consistently in her man. She might not even approach his man during tough times.

Usually to handle this entitlement bitch behaviour I simply ignore it and do my own thing. Value my time first! There is no easier way to lose your place as a man in the presence of a woman then be subservient! Compliance testing is in my opinion will always be the most common way a man loses his frame in any relationships.
