BTUFF - Thanks for this video! What did you end up doing with the rear motor mounts? Did you have to loosen the front motor mounts so the engine would tilt?

(READ THIS). You will need to take the oil filter off to get to the scatter shield bolt. 1/2 wrench is what' you'll need. smaller in length the better. Do not tighten the bell housing until you get the bolts started.

Did you separate the transmission from the bell housing or pull them together. I am having difficulty locating the scatter shield bolts. I am in the middle of this same repair on my 06’ 23 LSV

It stays together. You can't pull them apart. It's bolted from the inside. Yes, the two scatter shield bolts are miserable. You will need a 1.2 wrench and you'll need to take off the oil filter.

There is a LOT of difference between a boat and a semi! A semi does not collect explosive fumes in its "hull." I've seen TWO inboards explode because of leaking fuel likes.
