Buakaw hasn't been ranked in Thailand for the simple reason that he hasn't really fought in Thailand since 2003. Yes, he is big for a thai and yes, there are better thais pound for pound but it's completely false to say that he isn't a top fighter in Thailand. He was ranked 2nd at Lumpini when he left for Japan and would surely have won the title once Namsaknoi stepped aside.

To those of you who are keep saying buakaw plays dirty by hitting Marco's jock, you guys are WRONG. First of all if anybody get hit in the ball with that iron leg of buakaw, that guy would've be on the floor crying. N second, Muay Thai fighters like Buakaw are the master of kicking technique they would focus on the weakest part of ur leg which is it he inside of ur leg in between ur knee and ur ball sack.

Buakow is the better fight! Pique is very well conditioned & has a lot of heart. He was rushing Buakow till the end. Even though Buakow landed good shots & kicks. Pique has nothing to be ashamed of he tried his best & lost to a better man.

Gotta love these Thai fighters. Buakaw saved Pique's face in front of his countrymen by allowing him to stand up in the ring until the end. A great show of true sportsmanship.
