Thai kickboxing uses extensive use of the elbow, knees and the hardest and fastest hook kicks period. Combined with extremely high fitness levels and hard conditioning they are far ahead of the majority of martial arts out there.

man wtf? not only does buakaw rule with his kicks, now he's slipping punches? also, now he has a new knee game? i never saw this coming. i thought yoshihiro sato or masato would be taking it this year, but buakaw's coming with new things on top of his usualy ownage. this year's tournament is going to be something special.

@akirahojo All Buakaw gotta do is learn to sprawl, learn the guard and hold the guard till ref stands them up, and do quick knees in the clinch before BJJ tries the takedown.

first of all THEDUDE1948: no thai was realy able to kick dekkers ass. his kix were hard, plus he had boxing abilities..which most of the thais traditionally don´t have.. and no one kix as powerfull as thais do. folks, stop comparing mma with other martial arts. mma-fighters wouldn´t be able to win under thai-rules either. thai-fighters would also loose against tiger woods on a golf-field..so stop this nonsense.
