It's all about contact. He clears his hips really nicely and it went far because he struck it pure. As an amateur of 16 years of age, I can only hit my SW (54 degree) around 105-110. And another thing is, with a SW-9i you don't have to swing that hard.

The flag and green are uphill and not visible, he’s deep in the woods and hits a wedge with a 45’ hook to almost pin high. Drains the putt and wins his first major and a green jacket. THAT’S Bubba’s best shot ever

If his top 3 shots were to be re-done i'd take out number 1 and 2 of this video, Leave the driver off the deck as third, add his albatross at the chevron world challenge at second, and his 40 yard hook off the pines on 10 at Augusta would have to be the top shot he will ever hit, purely for sheer importance and pressure placed on him standing over the ball..
