If I use this plugin, does it mean I can resign from using Bubble databases/tables all together including the Users table? My second question is: will this support offline mode available in Firestore (e.g. add a task while I am offline, I see it on the UI as if all went well, and when I am really back online that's when the data is written to Firestore).

1) Yes, there is an app we made for a client, for instance, that has no defined types on bubble and the User one is not used. It's full on Firebase entirely. 2) It does work with offline mode, but if the user closes the tab on the browser, it'll lose any changes made to the database.

@@estareapps thank you for the quick reply. If it works offline, that's great. I wanted to try the demo but it wasn't working (ie could not sign up). But you do confirm that if I am offline and add a new task, it will appear on the list of tasks in the UI (although it has not been written yet to Firetore). And when I am back online, the write operation to Firestore will just happen. If that's the case I will try it out.

That's correct. This feature applies only for Fireatore, it doesn't work with auth operations, e.g. update the user's profile.

Thank you, one question do you plan to make this a paid plugin or will it remain free?

The plugin was once paid, but we decided to make if free for a series of reasons and not only intend for it to continue that way, but it's also not possible to revert it back to paid. So enjoy 😄 We'll continue to improve it as part of our software house array of services. We have more than one client using it in their apps and we intent to launch related Firebase services in the near future, that may benefit the no-code community further. 🚀👀
