I wish I had known about this!! I can't tell you what I've went through with covid restrictions, lockdown and stray cats that kept having kittens. No place was open to help and I had so many kittens! This would have worked so well!!!

Put a little rag in between them so they can brace on so they can't fall over or move over to the other kitten. Worked for us.

It looks like they want to be near each other for warmth as they feed, like they would with their mother. Rather than constantly moving them get an additional soft piece of soft fabric to cut in pieces so each has a cocoon. As it is they are being denied a critical part of nursing from Mom. They really NEED the warmth with the formula. That would jeep them calm & happy. This approach of only one of the two components it very disruptive to their growth & feeling safe. I hope it is formula in there. In spite of myth, kittens are lactose intolerant of cows milk. If that gadget had nipples closer together then it might be ok.

I think they all got very little milk. Poor little things. They’d have actually gotten some milk if she’d fed them individually with a pipette or very small baby bottle.

I need one of these, it would make my job easier as a foster Mom. Every year I get no less than 20 kittens to bottle feed. Last year I had six litters. I have a cat that will take anyone's kitten but she has no milk, she is an excellent mother and the reason we foster kittens. I don't force her she would steal the kittens so I might as well let her have them. I like the natural position of the kitten and a lot less messy than the bottle until they get big enough to knock it over.

Having a very good appetite, young kittens are mostly big eaters. So be careful of the kittens not to drink milk or eat too much, because it results on diarrhea.

Cows milk gives them diarrhoea because csts are lactose intolerant. This is kitten formula milk. You can buy it online, ready mixed .

They need to be stimulated to go to the bathroom by gently rubbing their genitals with a soft cloth, like facial tissues, or Kleenex, they don't need to be burped like a human baby. It would also be good to wipe their face with an alcohol free, dye free, perfume free wipes like those for newborn humans. And kittens that little need to be gaining weight and getting big fat bellies.

She doesn’t have to pat the backs of the kittens… They’re not humans, plus their bones are more fragile. The first thing she should be doing is taking her two fingers and rubbing their areas to make them pee. I’ve been a rescuer for 42 years.

They should make it oblong and enclosed with many nipples. That way the babies can search and move without it spilling.
