Poul Mejer demonstrates a quick and dependable method of hiding a lavalier mic in a shirt (a non-ideal slim-fit polyester/cotton mix) using the Bubblebee Lav Concealer.
Using a Sanken Cos-11, the concealer is loaded with mic and the included Clothing Clip to clip onto the back button seam, just above the second button.
This hides the microphone on the talent's chest and keeps it isolated from the body between the two overlapping bits of fabric. The fabric guard protects the space around the capsule while the rubber Lav Concealer absorbs a large amount of friction & vibrations.
This all makes for a super-quick and great sounding mounting option for when your talent is wearing a shirt - hopefully a non-synthetic one with a slightly looser fit!
