hello, i eat all the veggies. One bowl of blended soup uses about 5 full grown Marconi or Bell peppers. It gets eaten amazingly fast. Freezer is also jam packed to the brim this year. Thanks :)

hi, yes i add spice to almost every meal. The mason jars full of ground spice will last a couple years probably. I might need to grow just one hot pepper plant next year, might try a purple cayenne for something different. thanks :)

Thought I might ask you - what pepper do you recommend for a nice sweet paprika powder? I don’t want a hot paprika but looking for a good suggestion so I can stop buying it - but not finding good peppers - thoughts??

hi, i havent tried to make paprika but i just read the ingredients are usually Bell or Sweet peppers. Dehydrating and grinding up those would be as easy as the hot pepper spice i made. Anything homemade would be better than store bought, they usually harvest unripe green peppers and add red food coloring so it looks good in the store. thanks

Interesting! Maybe that’s why the flavor has not been right - I have been trying to find the right red pepper! I had tried a paprika pepper called bulldog but it got eaten before I got any peppers - maybe try again but now will consider greens as well as reds - but I do love the red color but looking for flavor! Thanks!
