@@WGTNmarineLife I firmly believe that humans have a responsibility to provide good care to the animals we use for food, both out of practicality (healthy animal = healthy food) and out of respect for what they provide to us. Most of the cows he works on are dairy cows, so they're providing sustenance over a long period of time, and deserve to be maintained and well-cared-for throughout that time.

To anyone who wants to complain about the cow moved he didn't hurt her. He pushed on it and the pain inflated. Notice how after that she stayed put. Rain falling creates a down draft. The rain is pushed out from the center of the storm by the wind. When the rain is at an angle, that angle points to the direction of the storm. As the storm passes, the angle will change depending on if it is coming or overhead or leaving.

I grew up on a dairy farm and i remember my grandfather and dad trimming hooves in the barn. We didnt have any equipment just a stall and rope. I know that this is a very necessary job and you do it very well ❤

I can highly recommend visiting Scotland, especially during the summer months. Just a fair warning, even during summer there will be rain and the Scots have this awful insect called a highland midge but aside from those two potential irritants, the countryside is gorgeous, the people are warm and welcoming (especially if you can share a pint with them). If you get the opportunity, you absolutely must go see the Hebrides and the highland in general. The lowlands are gorgeous as well, but there's something truly haunting about the rolling hills of the highland.

Great Job guys. When that Cow started jumping when you hit her sore spot/painful area I jumped to. It was so unexpected. I just opened up here just now and started raining in my neck of the woods. I would say take your rainy weather back but it's a welcomed sight and the cooler temperatures to go with it. It is a very refreshing sight too. After an extremely hot and long dry summer. Hello from Texas, USA. I have recently found your channel. I love the compassion you have for the animals that you work on! I have some questions for you about the cow with the toe necrosis. Once healed, will the bone eventually regrow, or will this be a lifelong deformity for her? You showed her agonizing gate prior to her trim. Is there ever an instance where you have a vet assist with pain medication so you are able to perform a trim? I hope this finds you well and happy.

Up here in the Pacific NW, we also have liquid sunshine like you that often begins right after a blistering hot day. It's easy to find recent immigrants to the area; when seeing someone using an umbrella, we say, "you're not from around here, are you?" Anyone who's lived here long enough knows that rain is just water, so unless you're an elderly person (who get an instant pass), you are considered to be a green-horn. Good luck living that down!
