We've taken a look at many small Windows installs... however, this one might take the cake. This is Windows XP Super Small Lite, which is an interesting Windows XP Build.

There is a version of XP called MicroXP and I think the ISO was less than 100MiB in size.

Yeah and you didn't get the log-on error and that ugly windows logo either unlike this edition.

Yep, and I even made a patch kit especially designed for it to replace many critical missing resources and update numerous things, while still keeping the overall patched install down to around 340MB or so disk space used, which is less than 1/10th the size of a full XP install.

Their name is probably EVO, the K410i part must be a Sony Ericsson model, must be a phone they used to own at an earlier point in life, and CFW stands for custom firmware, possibly meaning that they installed such thing on their K410i.

I once made an ISO file called NanoXP which is 68 MB.

I was once able to make 85 MB ISO. That was the smallest that was still able to connect to internet. I think I finally got it down to 82 MB but that didn't connect to the internet anymore. After fresh install it only took 25 MB RAM - that is over 160 times less than Win 11 needs according to it's requirements.

You gotta wait after the first boot to the desktop; there are background installs and final setup/customization scripts running on the first login on all of these custom windows OSes. You may have restarted it too quickly since it seemed like you rushed to get VMWare tools installed (I don't know if you skipped anything when editing your final video). Anything wrong it such as the themes may literally be your fault 😅. If you didn't wait, then you may have completely cancelled that process by immediately installing VMware tools and rebooting (that's also probably why it said another setup was already running when you first tried to launch tools install).

You also looked at the Page File usage in Task Manager and called it the "RAM usage". You won't have an issue extending the length of these videos if you take your time and are thorough. At this point, I can't even trust the legitimacy of your video because you were in such a rush. Why the rush at all lol.

Not the smaller one. As far as I remember, I once found a Windows XP ISO with just a 75MB ISO in Archive. but I forgot the name of the ISO..

If you look up the word " pointless " in the dictionary, there is a picture of this ISO .........XP is extinct, save for use in some industrial machines that need very simple instructions to run.

Please don't record in a higher resolution than the intended playback resolution. It causes details to be lost, especially making text hard to read. It's fine (and encouraged) for most modern games because UI elements will scale with display resolution, but an operating system will usually keep things the same pixel-size at all resolutions and instead use the extra resolution for more real estate.
