Miss Bulgaria was that supportive friend. She was dubbed Bestie of the Year. It actually turns out that she was so supportive of Pia because she was genuinely nice pre pageant. Recently Ariadna (Colombia) said she didn't think Pia would win because she was a "ghost". Then Bulgaria released a statement on her IG of how Colombia was on the pre pageant. She revealed Colombia would laugh at what the other girls were wearing and solely hung out with her fellow Latinas.

Pia's journey in pageant world is tough. She joins 3 times in binibining Pilipinas and a lot of people discriminates her. Even people that is so close to her didn't want to support her anymore but she continued to fight for her dream crown and on that very moment, destiny is freaking again and the whole world thought she lose but the Filipino prayers strike back and she got the W. She gain back the attention and support of the Filipinos and became the post popular Miss universe in history. Imagine how amazing it was. It's crazy

Oh, Britain encouraged Diego & Gabriela Silang to revolt in Ilocos, but without any British aid, Spain made short work of those two. Good allies those Englishmen were!

I remember I was 8 back then and that was the first Miss Universe I ever watched that time. When they announced that Pia is not the Miss U., I was so disappointed that I went to my room and locked my door. The lady in 16:46 is Miss Bulgaria Radostina Todorova, and to this day, after the 2015 coronation issue resurfaces this year, she still spoke and defended Pia Wurtzbach and how she deserves to win the crown that year. The issue resurfaced after Miss Columbia was quoted in an interview to have said that Pia felt 'like a ghost' throughout the competition and how she never expected her to win - by which Ms. Bulgaria turned to instagram to share her thoughts and defended Pia.
