Buc-ee's opened their first Florida based location today in St. Augustine, FL. We made a trip over to fill up the van and to check out all that Buc-ee's has to offer.

Welcome to the wonders of Buc-ee's! One of the few things I'll really miss about Texas, so I'm so glad they're invading Florida. I've heard they might bring one to the Tampa area? Fingers crossed! Definitely the only gas station where I own multiple shirts with their logos... LOL Beaver Nuggees are my fave - that spicy cheesy BBQ deliciousness. We feel the same way about the brisket. Is it the best? No. For a gas station though? Wonderful!

It was a great shopping experience with a bunch of different items that jumped out to pick up. We stopped at Busy Bee while in Live Oak, FL over the weekend and it’s a very similar concept to Buc-ee’s, with a little less selection. They’re opening a location right by Buc-ee’s as well, so we’ll end up with niche gas station wars soon.

You are so spot on about Wawa, working nights during this past year Wawa has become a lifesaver, because I always knew they were open, and decent food and drink. I like their coffee probably better than almost anywhere else.

Yeah, I get off around 3 AM, so my options are limited to Steak n Shake, Whataburger, Waffle House, McDonalds Breakfast, and Wawa if I want a hot meal to go after work.

The largest Buc-ees in the entire chain (74,000 sq ft) is set to open In Sevierville TN by the first of 2022…and only 8 miles from my house. I can’t wait.
