I bought one and love it. It is great that I do not have to reset dies every time I change them out. This press in conjunction with Redding competition dies produce concentric ammo every time. Primers are easily felt bottoming out (using the Lee ram priming die) and they seat squarely every time. I travel a lot and this press is highly portable and easy to use. The other hand press are a joke when compared to this one, as there is a big difference between this quality tool and the cheap one[s]. The Buchannan Precision Hand Press with the quick change die bushing is well worth the cost. Seriously I have never had to cuss at this press, not even once. Did I mention that I love it? If one wants pleasant reloading on the go, this is the way to roll! It may be easy to watch or read someone stuff about how great this press is and turn around and talk trash about it, but it is not possible to talk trash about it once one has had it in their own hand and actually reloaded round after round with it! Get one or be square!

For loading away from the bench, it looks fine. For quantity loading, it looks like your arms and shoulders would be using muscles you don't normally use.

Could just buy the Lee hand loader for like $60. This is as much as a regular reload machine.

There is a big difference between cheap and quality tools. If concentricity is a must the Lee handloading press will not cut the mustard. The Buchannan Precision Machine hand press will do it every time. Not to mention the ease of use, of which the Lee joke of a hand press seriously lacks.

Lee hand press absolutely slaps. Great tool. This one is a logical step up. It would be nice if someone made an intermediary one at around 125-175. I don’t see a reason not to own both if you’ve got the money, but the lee press will definitely get you most of the way there for a lot of use cases.

@@doctorgears9358 but it the Lee's is a pain in the butt to use, that has to cover for most of the cost of the Buchanan.
